My family of 14 gathered for 4 days during Thanksgiving and had a fantastic time. We had plenty of room and we were all so very comfortable. We cooked and ate all meals there . Sitting around watching the football games was so comfortable thanks to the ample seating, pillows and blankets. The view was gorgeous! Yes, we would love to come back and my grandsons would love to move there !!! 🤗

The Oxbow Lodge was a great get for our family. It was relaxing. quiet & comfortable.

The lake house was perfect for our big group and had everything we needed. We were shocked by the great stock of cooking utensils/supplies. Would highly recommend this lake house.

It was a fabulous stay. Everything down to the last detail was masterfully put together. The lodge was more than comfortable and had every amenity one could think of. The outdoor area was also perfect. From 12 yrs old to 74 we all had a blast.

Wonderful house for our huge family gathering. Large pier for fishing and water activities. We brought a boat, and docked it in the boat slip. A great rental with a beautiful sunset every evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oxbow Lodge. This large lake house is wonderful and very well equipped. Sunsets from the pier are magnificent. I would highly recommend this property for anyone that would like to visit Lake Bruin.

The Oxbow is the best house on Lake Bruin! We had a bachelorette trip here this weekend and we had so much room to spread out and everything was perfect! The house was just as described and honestly even better! We will definitely be coming back as a group for fun because it was such a great time!

Great for family reunion

My family and I spent a few days at the lake during the week. The Oxbow lodge was super well-equipped fantastic location and plenty of beds to sleep many guests. Wonderful time. Definitely will stay again

The Oxbow is spacious enough to accommodate our large family without feeling over crowded. All amenities were as stated, if not better. The location is perfect. Many beautiful views. Mrs. Donna was fantastic and very accommodating. I would highly recommend the OxBow and our family looks forward to many more years to visit.

have stayed before and this time was no different - excellent stay. Had a minor issue at check in and property manager was on top of it and was very pleased with outcome. Will stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the Oxbow Lodge. It was spacious, homey, and elegant. The stars at night and sunset view from the dock were fantastic. The kitchen and dining area are perfect for a large group. The heated porch worked great as well. We had 8 guys sleeping out there with the temperature in the 30s and they all slept comfortably. We would love to come back.

We found this lake Bruin house to be the perfect place for a family gathering. The views were beautiful, the fishing was great, the house was spacious and accommodating. This was a great find.

Our group of 5 couples from Louisiana visited Lake Bruin for the first time. How is this even possible? The Lake is absolutely beautiful, with clear water, stands of cypress, awesome sunsets and all the tranquil ambience of being lakeside. The weather could not have been any better, shorts during the day and light jackets around the fire pit in the evenings. The lake certainly was everything it is said to be, but the Oxbow Lodge was incredible! We were impressed from the first steps we took into this rental and grew to appreciate all it had to offer over our 3 night stay. PLENTY of room to cook, eat, visit and relax. The lodge is very well appointed and everyone was comfortable and happy with their room assignments - not always the case with a large group and no one wants to draw the short straw when rooms are being designated! We fished every day from the unbelievable pier, caught so many that we shared our fish fry results with friendly neighbors next door. Donna was very responsive from booking to check-out and everything went smoothly. She was quick to remedy a very small issue we had with the BBQ pit and we enjoyed meeting her handy-man brother! We all agreed this was one of the best trips we have taken together as a group and are already dreaming of when we can return. Thanks for the perfect getaway, we all needed it!

Due to COVID our two vacations planned this year had to be cancelled. We found this property and invited our parents as well as brother in law and his family. The whole group Of 13 stayed for the weekend followed by just my wife and two sons for the last two days. Was our first time to the lake which was very nice as expected. We did bring a pleasure boat and used the lift to store it when not riding. There are only a couple of restaurants within a reasonable drive so you need to plan on hanging around the camp and preparing your meals. We did a little of both which was a nice balance. The lodge was exactly as advertised and had plenty of room for our group.

Wonderful weeklong stay at the Oxbow! If there is a better appointed rental house on Lake Bruin, I’d be shocked! Open floor plan, well-equipped kitchen, cozy beds, two sets of washer/dryer and large pier. Spent our lazy days fishing, swimming, boating, dining in for every meal. Pier is located swimming distance from little island area where boats dock and people congregate to play water volleyball. Sunsets are like no other! Donna was so gracious and helpful, you can tell she truly enjoys sharing the Oxbow Lodge with her guests. We cannot wait to return.
