The location was convenient to everything. Clean and all needed supplies were provided. Size was surprisingly larger than expected 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms made this very good for our family. The shared grill at the pool was really nice. Would use this again if we come back.

Location is fantastic. I short walk to the beach where you can choose between two areas. One for swimming, boogie boarding waves and one for snorkeling and observing the turtles that sleep on the beach! If you don’t have a good time, that’s on you. 😀 Joel was very responsive and supportive. I highly recommend.

The condo worked out good and Joel is the best host we’ve had. We had stopped for groceries and it was before the 4:00 check-in time. He said it was fine to drop them off early. The housekeeper was done so we were able to drop everything off and basically start our vacation early. Short walk to beautiful beaches - would stay there again!!

This place was everything we could have asked for in a stay in Kauai - the place itself was more spacious than the pictures let on, they have everything you could ask for on the property for a great beach set-up, and it's totally walkable to Poipu Beach! Poipu is so incredibly baby friendly. We were in such great company with kiddos at the beach, pool, and playground! In case you're thinking about traveling with infants, a few specifics that I was scanning for in reviews for our trip with a 14mo: - The walk to the beach is paved and was a breeze with the stroller. The condo also comes with a wagon to bring to and from the beach - a total lifesaver. - While there was no pack and play or high chair, the VRBO owner pointed me in the direction of great baby gear rental places that do pickup/drop of - so easy. - We had our baby in a pack and play in the room with two twin beds. We brought portable blackout shades that we didn't end up hanging up because we thought the curtains in the room were enough. If your kid needs TOTAL black, you might want to pack some but for us this worked great even through 2 daytime naps. - This is a ground floor unit. I found this super helpful for getting in and out with a toddler. - There are two steps between the kitchen and the living room. This could be tricky with a smaller baby who can't navigate stairs as easily. Overall, this was an unforgettable family vacation. I'm already sad to be back on the mainland!

This property was just as described in the listing. It was a very comfortable, well equipped and met every expectation. The host was very responsive and his description of access to the condo, amenities and suggestions for our visit to Kauai were spot on. Five stars.

We thought this was a great property with a good location. Spotless, very well appointed and 2 large bedrooms/baths. Very close to the pool and easy parking and access to Poipu and Koloa.

We were attending a conference at the Hyatt and lived that we could walk there.

We had a great time at Joel’s home. He was very responsive when I had a question. It was lovely to be outside of the pool, have AC, and to be walking distance from Poipu Beach and the incredible snorkeling and turtles! He had everything fully stocked- snorkel & fins, boogie board, cooler, towels and chairs. And was so helpful to have the washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and shampoo/conditioner, pool towels, etc. The experience was incredible and we will stay again. Just a note for people with little kids, there is a lot of glass on tabletops, etc— so best for stays with kids over aged 5! Thanks again for everything Joel- you gave us an incredible experience!

Good location, close to a lot of activities. Cleanliness is not as good as other places I've stayed before but the unit had mostly everything we needed. The cooler was not available as advertised but we made do with what we had.

My husband and I spent a week at Joel’s beautiful condo! There is so many wonderful things to say about this place! It is so large with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. A beautiful kitchen with everything you could want. There was even extras like coffee, paper towels, laundry detergent! The washer and dryer came in handy as we were going to Oahu after this stay. There were beach towels and chairs! The pool outside the room was beautiful and I went in after a beach day! So clean and a hot tub that was awesome! Joel was available when I had a question about something and was ready to help out. The property itself is beautiful and the walkway to the beach was lovely! Flowering trees, benches and a very smooth walkway if you have a stroller or just like to walk on a solid surface. We loved our stay there! The beach at Poipu was great and we saw sea turtles on 3 days! So fun! Definitely would come back to this condo if we ever travel this way! Thank you again Joel for a beautiful condo on Kauai!

This property was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teens). Lots of space to be together and also apart when anyone needed quiet time. The air conditioners were wonderful and cooled the condo quickly. This place had everything needed for the week - kitchen items, beach towels and toys, and two bathrooms! Joel was super helpful and quick to respond each time I reached out with questions. My favorite part of the condo was the lanai off the living room in the mornings. So relaxing to sit with my coffee, watch the bright green gecko scurry around, and listen to the birds sing.

This was our first trip to Kawaii and we couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Everything was absolutely perfect! We will definitely be coming back again!

Joel's property was exactly as described. The pictures do not do it justice! It is stocked with everything you need (including nice sized beach towels which was a nice surprise). Super comfortable and conveniently located to beaches (5-10 min walk) (we saw sea turtles AND monk seals!) and restaurants (5-10 min walk). Check out Old Koloa town (10 min drive) for a more local feel away from the tourist area. Note, the unit has access to three pools - one directly outside which is really convenient but also can be busy/noisy depending on your neighbors (people did however respect the open/close hours), a smaller one across the parking lot which we didn't use but looked nice and, the larger resort pool which is quite nice and only a couple of minutes walk away. However, apparently the key for the resort pool is expensive to replace so you have to request it from the property manager. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until the day before we were leaving so we didn't get the full use of that pool. I think the unit information/ instructions could have been clearer on this point but Joel was very responsive and had the key brought over the morning after we requested it. The Lanai off the primary bedroom houses the AC unit so it wasn't really usable b/c hot air blows when it's running. That said, we were very happy to have AC throughout the unit so it was worth the trade off. The resort is beautiful and very family friendly & quiet at night. A pretty perfect visit!

Perfect location with a beautiful short walk to Poipu beach and Brennecke's beach. Property is very family friendly as well. We stayed for a week with our two children and had a great time, thanks Joel!

We had a fabulous 9 night stay! Great location, less than 10min walk to Breneckies beach and the Hyatt. The condo was perfect as advertised, no complaints. Our four adults had plenty of room, AC was awesome, kitchen had most everything we needed. We cooked at the condo a few nights, the BBQs were always clean. We would definitely stay again! Large 2 bedroom, 2 bath, well equipped condo. Had everything you need - beach chairs, cooler, washer/dryer, etc Location was perfect for all our activities - kayak Wailua, hiking Waimea Canyon, cruise Napali coast and close to Spouting Horn blowhole

This condo was the perfect spacious home base for us during our trip! It would be perfect for friend groups or families as well. The condo was very clean and well stocked for our week stay on the island. All the check in/out instructions and necessary info were readily available and the suggestions for things to do on the island was fantastic! The unit is right next to the pool and hot tub, which were a great end of day added bonus.

Great location for family. Owner was very helpful and replaced a broken sun umbrella within a day to make sure we could enjoy the beach with our little kids. Highly recommend.

My family of 6 stayed in this condo and loved it. It had a King bed for the parents, two twin beds for the teens, and a couch bed for my pre-teen kids to share. There were 6 chairs at the kitchen table. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer. We loved that the condo had boogie boards and beach towels. We drove the short distance to Poipu Beach with all of our snorkel gear, but in the evenings we would walk down the path amongst beautiful lush plants to the beach to see the sunset. Our week on Kauai was a vacation we will treasure forever!

Wonderful stay with our sister & brother in law. The unit was very nice - super comfortable beds. Great kitchen, loved the pool, the bbqs, & amazing short walk through beautiful gardens along the path to Poipu Beach. Communication with Joel couldn’t have been easier. We needed the twin beds made into a king, one quick message to him & he had his crew take care of it right away. Joel also had great info about the area, restaurants, etc. Just such an awesome trip to kauai! Aloha & a big Mahalo!

The place was clean, and it has almost all that we needed. The condo was proximal to stores and restaurants, and the beach! Last but not the least, our host was communicative and great! I’d rent this place again, the next time I’d be in Kauai. Mahalo!

We were expecting to be closer to the Ocean. We estimate that it's 1/4 mile to the road past Brennecke's Beach Broiler. So we used the car daily to transport our stuff to the beach when we used the beach chair's. The 2 Bedroom unit was larger than expected, well supplied, clean and quiet. The pool area is right outside the Living Room Lanai and noise was not at all an issue when others were using the pool and grilling area, etc... The step down from the Dining area into to the Living Room has two 4" steps over an distance of 8 feet wide. We found this to be a concern moving at night without lighting. so we placed one of the Dining Room chairs at the base of the steps to alert us to the steps in the dark. I had a night cough, so we used both bedrooms and the smaller one seamed to have some type of lingering order we couldn't identify. The grounds were beautiful and the trail to the beach areas easy to follow. Everything in the description of the property was accurate and we used the beach chairs several times. The refrigerator freezer worked well until the last day when we had to clean out the ice storage bin so fresh ice could be produced, We also found two of the Coasters were broken in the Living room. We threw them out as they could not be used and purchased a matching set of four coasters which we left for future users. Overall we would rate the property as a FIVE!

Very nice condo, very well furnished and equipped. Awesome location, short walk to Brennecke's beach (body surf, boogie board) and Poipu Beach Park (great for kids, snorkel and turtles!!!). Great stay overall!

The condo exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfect location close to the pool, multiple beaches, grocery, restaurants, and everything else we wanted. It is well equipped, very comfortable, quiet, and clean. We had a great week and will definitely be back!

We were very happy with our stay at Joel's property. Check-in was easy, and it was easy to find the apartment. The pool was a bit cold for our liking, but it was so close and convenient, we had to use it a few times. Appreciated the coffee grinder to make some fresh ground Kauai coffee in the mornings, and the amazing fruit stand around the corner became a regular stop for us. Overall a great time, and the expectations from the host were very reasonable. Hope to visit again!

Joel’s condo was so neat. Everything was in excellent conditions. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to beaches. It's next to a public pool and grills, but had never been bothered by any noise. We loved his full kitchen, - he provided all we needed. He gave prompt responses for my questions and requests. We hope to return and book his condo again in the future.

This is an awesome condo!! It was very spacious and clean. The owners were quick with communication and extremely friendly. The unit had everything we could possibly need or want. The unit is right next to the pool and a short walk to the beach. I would gladly book this location again!!
