Was just as advertised. Bedrooms were spacious and the home had everything that was needed. Grilling out was great, had visits with wildlife from racoon, lizzards, and sea turtles. Evenings were peaceful. Sunsets were beautiful. Will definately recommend to friends and will be back.

We had a great time, the house was great and the pool was warm, fishing off the dock. Easy to get to the other keys.

I have experience with vacation renting a property and know first hand that this place was exceptional. First off the owner was completely accessible and responsive to my many questions. The property had absolutely everything you could ever need. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and there was a mixer and baking pans, which is not always available in vacation rental properties. The was a little problem with the Keurig coffee machine that was resolved in less than 24 hours with a new machine. The beds were comfortable. The place was immaculate, the linens were a high quality, we didn't need to bring beach towels, there were kayaks and pool toys...I could go on and on. The screened in porch was massive and allowed us to be outside but shaded from the sun. The dock was so long and wonderful. We enjoyed hours and hours of family time in the heated pool. My family has memories that will last a lifetime. I will recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend some time in the Florida Keys. Even though our trip was cut short we still had a great time. The house was perfect - just as described and owner was great with responding and also sent us notification of the incoming bad weather. Would stay there again

We had a great time Thanksgiving week! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The dock was definitely a main attraction for us. We saw numerous types of sea life including sea turtles and a manatee that was feeding right under the dock. We will definitely be back to the Marathon area again!

Our vacations have been beachfront VRBO houses for several years now. This house was one of the best for comfort, ease of use, kitchenware (I like to cook and this was well outfitted). Not super luxurious but very comfortable. Very nice pool, great dock for a swim or sunset cocktail. Highly recommended. But there is one issue which is not the fault of the homeowner and which made the house less enjoyable. The area is having a problem with a seaweed inundation called sargassum. The waterfront of many of the homes in the area is packed with this seaweed which gets trapped and slowly rots putting out a bad smell of rotten eggs. Its quite unpleasant but it is something you eventually get used to. If that is going to be an issue for you, check with the owner to see if the problem has been resolved. Eventually this will disappear by itself.

Great location on the water with great views. Quite neighborhood but only 5 minutes away from marathon and restaurants.

Sunset Catch is a great property that we have visited before. It is very comfortable and the dock is great for fishing. We will book this property again as it has everything you could need.

We go to the Keys every year and this by far the best home we have stayed at! The home has everything you could want and the beds are so comfortable.. we enjoyed fishing from the dock and watching all the parrot fish. OH.. and the sunsets are amazing. Thank you Adele for sharing your home with us!

We have stayed in MANY places and have to say this was the mot equipt house by far, from needs in the home to outdoor entertainment etc. Clean, comfortable, beautiful quiet location. Excellent communication. Thank you

Jet skiing, snorkeling fishing all from the dock. Fishing from kayaks - terrific- big mangrove snapper, cuda and tarpon. Pool was great and needed. House is well kept, has everything you need. Nearby restaurants and grocers. Will definitely return when heading to marathon in future.

Good amount of room inside. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of space. Kitchen and living area was roomy also. Outside the pool was nice. The parking area can accommodate up to about 6 vehicles under the house area if parked one in front of the other. (IF BRINGING A BOAT), the dock is nice to dock and tie up to and there is water and electrical outlets at the end of the dock. Only downside is parking a trailer. The main road is very narrow and has no room to turn around at the end or anywhere else if you have a trailer with you. I had a trailer for a 20 ft boat and the only way to get it to the house to park it was to back down the main road about 150 yards to get the right angle needed to be able to back in the driveway and park partially under the house and unhook and leave on the far side in the parking area. Not a deal breaker but if you know how to back a trailer it can be done in about 3-4 minutes. Smaller the trailer the easier it will be. (I would not recommend a trailer for a 20 ft or bigger boat, I was at the limit with mine)Public boat ramp is about 10 minute ride in the boat and about 8 minute drive by vehicle. Overall good property.

We've stayed in the Keys once per year for 5 -6 years. This property is not "fancy" but has everything we need for a perfect Keys vacation. The layout of the home is ideal. You can sip coffee from the master bed while enjoying the view or from the living room or the screened in porch. We have had just us, as well as us and our two "kids" here with us (18 and 22), and even with their friends at various points in time, there's still plenty of room to spread out. Ample parking in the shade underneath the house and space to spread out all your "gear" for snorkeling, fishing, SUP board, Kyacking, whatever you enjoy doing. You can fish off the dock or just observe the plentiful nature from the screened porch. We bring our boat and there's plenty of deep water for our 24 ft Keywest outboard. The nice large pool is a bit warm in July but still a necessity to cool off in the hot summer heat. The property is off the beaten path so private and quiet but still plenty close enough if you want to enjoy going out to restaurants, etc. They must spray for mosquitos because off of the property they can be an issue but seem to be controlled here. We looked for a place to buy in the keys that checked all the boxes that this one does and it is virtually impossible to find. It is a true treasure that we appreciate even more after trying to find one like it to purchase. House is very clean, very well equipped, easy to check in and out, owner is responsive-just great overall.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Catch. It had everything we needed for our family. The view from the kitchen, porch and living room was beautiful. This house was very equipped. Loved the big screen porch area! Alida was a dream and very attentive to our needs,

The house was wonderful!! From upstairs the ocean was always in view. The property had everything we needed. Kayaks, a great pool (heated was so nice), the dock was awesome to fish from, a grill, K-cup coffee machine, beach towels, and close to restaurants and other activities. The best part was being next to other people but feeling like you were the only people on the island; very quiet. If we had questions, Alida was very quick to respond and a great help to us. Overall, this was the best property we have stayed at in the Keys and we have been coming here for 10 years. Thanks for a great trip.

Our family of six adults left this oasis of nature and relaxation with a trove of wonderful experiences to savor. The dock and bay provided innumerable opportunities for snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, and sitting on the bench to take in the beautiful view and brilliant sunsets. The property also provides a chance to see gorgeous sunrises. The house was very-well equipped; kitchen, an abundance of towels, a great variety of places to gather or to find a quiet spot of shade or sunshine to indulge in a book or a nap. The hammock was a popular choice. The pool was perfect! Warmed by the heater and the sun, it has a wonderful shelf to sit on and soak in the bliss. Beds were comfortable, laundry machines very convenient, a/c excellent, spacious rooms, quiet neighborhood-close to everything! Our entire family appreciated this incredible location that provided such a relaxing respite! Thank you, Alida!!!

Was a great location with pool, kayaking, swimming , fishing and sunsets with a visit from the manatees. Great town to visits all the attractions.

This house in a very quiet bayside neighborhood of Marathon was just what our family wanted. Snorkeling off the dock was so much fun for all of the family! We kayaked. We swam. We fished. We had an all around fun in the sun vacation! Hopefully we can go back in the future.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here and would be glad to return. The house was well supplied with household items (dishes, cookware, bedding, towels). The location right on the ocean was amazing. We loved the views!

Heated pool was very enjoyable. House looks out on the Gulf. Pier to fish off of. Location and neighborhood was perfect. We had a 1 year old that loved running around the house and outside screened in deck.

We had a great trip! We caught tons of fish at the dock including Snapper and a grouper! We also got an up close visit from a manatee who seemed to enjoy eating the algae on the dock posts. And we saw a small nurse shark. Our weather was perfect and the house was well stocked for us to cook a few meals there. We used the 2 person kayak which was great! Thanks for the fast communication on helping us turn up the pool heater.

This was just what we needed (minus the hurricane). The pool was so refreshing. We asked for it to be heated due to the time of year. The dock was very much used by my family, between fishing, paddle boarding, snorkeling and kayaking. We made such good use of the water toys provided by Alida. The supplies provided as a starter package were greatly appreciated since our flight was delayed and it was almost midnight when we arrived. Food shopping was only a few minutes down the road as were plenty restaurants. Key West was just a small drive and we were able to get that in before the weather rolled in. We grilled out almost every night. We caught a lot of fish off the dock (catch & release). My husband and son did that almost every day/night and loved it. The view is absolutely phenomenal. This was really such a relaxing home and it really felt like that, HOME. Did I mention the master shower??? Alida, please tell me the shower head brand. We all marveled at how good the shower felt. The last 2 days of our visit were the best in terms of weather and we took full advantage of the water toys. The water was like glass. Thank you Alida for sharing your lovely home with us. The place was great. Spacious, nice bedrooms, kitchen and screened in deck. Fishing off the dock was great. Pool was great also. The only drawback was Mother Natures doing, like a lot of seaweed had washed up which smelled bad and that was probably from the recent hurricane. Overall it’s a great property to relax and enjoy.

Enjoyed this house! Beautiful sunsets and great snorkeling under the dock. My daughter caught a red drum from the dock also. Only drawback was the sea grass and the smell when it started to rot. That being said would definitely rent this house again.

Plenty of room inside and out with very well stocked kitchen since we like to cook. Lots of toys with kayaks and paddle board and swim tubes and rafts and sand toys. Nice hammock and chairs and tables outside. Fishing from dock for kids and snorkeling were great. Hope to be able to visit again for longer than one week! Great host!

Our family of 6 adults had an awesome time at this beautiful home. Very spacious and comfortable with amazing views of the water and sunsets/sunrises. The home has everything you will need for a family vacation (great pool, well stocked with bath/pool towels, kitchen utensils, kayaks, bait freezer, and lounge chairs). The fishing and sea life (barracuda, sea turtle, manatee, and numerous fish) from the dock were awesome! The views from the 2nd floor are phenomenal. Alida (Host) was excellent in communicating with us as we were planning our trip and during our stay. Overall, an OUTSTANDING experience.
