We arrived here at 1:00 am after a long day of traveling. Thinking our condo was in the gated community it shows in the picture we soon came to find out it was not. After entering the condo we found there to be no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms and there was a moldy smell. There was black mold/mildew in the showers and in the toilets. This is unacceptable when people get sick from this stuff and there is a $125 cleaning fee added to your stay and it’s not clean enough to get clean and comfortable. We had to relocate on Christmas Eve to a hotel. I would not recommend staying here at all!!!

Quick walk into town, clean gated property, and easy river access!

The Condo is great, I had my 7 year old nephew and his Mom and Grandmaw there. He loved the treasure chests that are used for decoration, so we set him up to find some treasure, it was great. Thank you

This property is perfectly located on the Comal. It is spacious and has everything you need. You can enter the river right from the property. It was quiet (at least we didn't have any issues). Property owner was very responsive to my questions. The one thing that I wish I had known: listing said there was a kureg and there is not - I think k-cups and ended up having to go buy coffee - and this is a very minor issue! Love the stay and would definitely stay again!

I was nervous about renting online but as soon as we got there the family was happy.. The view was great, the property it self was one of the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in..I can not wait to go back..

Randy was very communicative and quickly responded when we had questions. The condo was clean —although a little outdated and smaller than we expected —but fine for our river trip.

The advance check-in was nice. The exterior is well kept. Great location. Gates are cumbersome when the codes don't work. The deer walking thru the property was a nice surprise. The stairs to the condo are weird. It's like they are a step and a 1/2 if that makes sense. Some amenities weren't as listed. The coffee pot was a regular coffee pot and not a Keurig. It took anywhere from 20-28 minutes to brew a full pot. The dishwasher was out of order with no advance warning. The bed in the master needs to be replaced. You literally sink into holes on both sides. We slept horizontally with pillows covering the areas that made you feel like you were falling into the grand canyon. The master bedroom gets hot in the afternoon/evenings. The blinds could use some love. One set of blinds in the living room were broken so that we couldn't open them all the way to take advantage of the great view of the river. The memory foam mattress that is supposed to be better than a couch bed was anything but comfortable. If you folded it up and had 3 layers maybe. Probably would work for small children or bring a blow-up mattress.

The property location is perfect. The condo is spacious and nice. We had a great time.

Great set up great location would be interested again

The location is excellent. The condo was very good, but there were a number of mostly small, relatively inexpensive things which would have moved the review to 5 stars. We arrived after dark, but the porch light was not on, so we had to get a light to unlock the door (however, the condo was nice and cool). The bath towels were small and worn. There was no shower soap in the bathrooms - you had to bring your own! No Kleenix. We had to relocate a light bulb from the ceiling fan in the living room for a bedside lamp in the master bedroom. The shower head was what you'd expect in a state park campground. It also spewed a ridiculous amount of water, especially considering the drought and the continuing pressures on the Edwards aquifer. The more expensive item it the bed in the master bedroom has a sway on the right side and was uncomfortable. These are just not the types of things one should deal with in a condo which cost this much

Overall a good experience there were small thing but for the price for the location was good. The set up was kinda weird the condo isn’t in the gated area it’s right out side of it. So you have to go in and out of the gate a lot to get to your car. We couldn’t get the code for the pedestrian gate to work. So we went through the car gate. We ended up getting yelled at by one of the neighbors for doing this. The car gate broke at one point but they had it fixed the next day. It’s right on the River. It has a nice grilling outdoor areas. The condo was a bit dated. There was only one knife in the kitchen that was kinda hard to cut with but other than that the kitchen had everything you would need. Overall a good experience.

We were in town for a wedding & this condo was perfect for our family of 5 including 3 grown kids. Easy access to the river if you want to float or just take a dip & close enough to walk to Bootleggers for great pizza! Randy was attentive & great to work with!

First off.. we pulled up and it looked nothing like the pictures. Pretty rough area. The condo is very old, dingy, outdated and stinks. My daughter went to brush her teeth and there was a huge rusted out hole in the pea trap of the sink and water leaked out all over the floor. Bathroom was not useable. Then the other shower took forever to get warm and had zero water pressure. Contracted the owner who tried to tell me the hole in the sink was new and basically accused us of making it. We left that day even though we paid for another night. He was very unprofessional.

overall good stay. did have AC system freez up prior to arrival do to extreme heat. notified agent and he advised to let it thaw. after that everything was normal. Fast response and overall would rent from again

The Condo was perfect for our family! Right on the River and so close to Schlitterbaun. Great Location!! We had a blast!

Overall it was a great place to stay other than the two flights of stairs we lad to lug everything up.

Randy the owner was nice and accommodating, the property is very convenient for river access and a short walk back when done tubing. Deer everywhere! Really nice spot!

The condo was right on the river which was so relaxing to watch from the living room window. Deer were grazing in the neighborhood which was also amazing to watch. Clean condo. I would definitely stay again. Great location.

The place was very clean and the view was great. The owner was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Definitely the place to stay if your visiting the Comal River.

Very comfortable condo for two couples. Beautiful view of the river. This place had all the comforts of home. Great location near downtown. Randy, the owner was readily available to answer questions and was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
