Perfect location, very clean, good option for those with mobility issues

The house is just beautiful and well stocked with all kitchen items. The front patio has tropical plants that you can admire as you sit in the lounge chairs. The back patio faces the green belt with a large grassy area. You are within 12 minutes from shipwreck beach and and about 16 minutes to Poipu beach. The house has several boogie boards, 2 coolers and lots of sand toys. Best part, there is a wagon that you can load it all in to roll to the beach. The best part of the house besides the awesome location and comfort of the home, is the out door shower. It was great to use after a day of beach fun. The owner, Jon, communicated before we arrived with easy to follow instructions. He was available for any questions or concerns we had during our stay. We had a wonderful family vacation and will seek this home out when we return to the beautiful island of Kauai.

We’ve been to Poipu Kai many times over the years and this was time was an A+! The home was beautiful and perfectly laid out for our family of 5 plus my 80-year old mom. The location was ideal - easy walk to the beach on one side of the green belt and an easy walk to the Hyatt on the other side ( where we got a day pass to use their pools). Plus easy access to the tennis/pickle courts and pool! We look forward to going back there again someday!

We love the south shore area. This home has direct access to the walking path connecting Shipwreck and Poipu beaches (10 minute walk in either direction). Location couldn’t be better. Home is perfect. Hosts have thought of everything and are super easy to work with. Would book again without hesitation.

Property met all of our needs for an 3 generations of my family. Centrally located for our excursions, plenty of beach toys for the kids and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking some meals. I would certainly recommend this property to others. I had no contact with property manager so this is a forced evaluation based upon the property,

The property is located in the middle of Poipu, which is the paradise resort of Kauai. We enjoy living in the property feeling as if we were one of the resort residents. The surrounding circumstances are ideal. Beautiful garden with well organized tropical plants, spacious living area, with beautiful furniture, nearby ocean is someplace wild someplace calm, newly built shopping places have good shops and restaurants. We did not have to go to remote places for "sight seeing". Just stay home or walk around and go shopping and dining nearby places, those are the ideal resort life. Of course, cooking in the functional kitchen or good BBQ grill is great fan. Over all it was the memorable days in the property.

House is in a great location - a very short walk from the Grand Hyatt with Shipwrecks beach and a short walk the other direction to Poipu Beach - both just along greenways. Cannot be beat for a location.

Our group of 7 really enjoyed our stay. Jon sent a great deal of information in advance that helped with our planning. With any issue that came up, he was very responsive and proactively reached out via email to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The ocean and pool/hot tub were a short walk away. Everyone had room to stretch out. The house had everything we were seeking.

This is a five star home in a five star neighborhood! We spent a week in Poipu to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday and could not have asked for a better experience. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, with two beautiful outdoor areas that accommodated our group of seven adults ranging from 18 - 90 at all times. It's 5 minutes away from two gorgeous beaches, a wonderful pool and a tennis/pickle ball facility. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook for a large group, and the garage has enough beach/snorkling/water accessories to keep everyone busy. John and Makenna were incredibly easy to work with, answered all of our questions with great detail and supplied us with tons of information ahead of time so we could jump right in and enjoy our time in Kauai right after we arrived. Look no further - this home is a gem!

Jon was amazingly helpful from weeks prior to us arriving, to having so many fabulous recommendations when we were in Poipu, and being so supportive to help our unique needs throughout the stay. The house was perfect for my whole family - 18 month old, 4 yr old, husband, parents, brother and MIL. We loved being able to walk to so many beaches on the green belt, and we had the wagon and a wheel chair on our walks. We cooked at the house primarily and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. And all the outdoor space, from the hammock, outdoor shower, and loungers in the private front yard to the patio out back along the greenbelt, was fabulous to enjoy the gorgeous weather! I can't say enough great things to express how much we loved spending time at this house in this epic location. Thank you!!

Spacious, private house, perfect for a family vacation. We are a family of 8 adults, but house would be great for small children too! House is located on a tranquil green belt and is a short walking distance to several beaches. Kitchen is incredibly well-stocked with every appliance you could possibly need. Also included are 8+ beach chairs, several umbrellas, 2 coolers and even a wagon to carry your gear to beach. Community is great, we didn’t use the pool but played pickle ball at the community courts. Dining and shopping are a 10 minute drive away in Poipu or Old Koloa town. The owner is very responsive and made sure we checked in and had all we needed. You should note that the main bathroom is open to the bedroom, separated only a with pony wall, so privacy is limited. Also, noise carries within the house probably due to the flooring being all tiles.
Overall, I highly recommend this house!

We loved staying in this beautiful home! It was exactly as we expected. There was a minor issue with the door lock, but it was repaired quickly. It was definitely a vacation that we will cherish.

We were extremely happy with our stay at this residence. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for the 4 adults and 4 kids (teenagers) to spread out comfortably. The rental access and communication was smooth. The owner responded same day to an issue with an AC unit in one bedroom and we didn't skip a beat.
The location is excellent. It was a great midpoint between the furthest NW location at Waimea Canyon and last stop on the NE side at Ke'e beach. The close walking proximity to Puipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach was great for our group.
This is a spacious, comfortable home with great amenities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any families looking for a comfortable home away from home on Kauai.

We had an idyllic two weeks at this home! The split floor plan with a great room was perfect. All the beds were comfortable and the 3 bathrooms were perfect for our family vacation with our adult children and grandchildren. The location was terrific. Poipu Beach was about 12 min for me since I walked slowly. The kids could make it in 10. Shipwreck was 5 min the other direction. The pool was lovely and we made good use of it. The home was the best equipped place we’ve ever stayed and we have come to Kauai countless times. Lots of beach toys in the garage. The kitchen had great quality utensils! We highly recommend this home!!!

Loved our stay at this vacation rental. The kitchen was very well organized and well equipped to cook meals. The location was excellent to visit either Shipwreck or Poipu Beach, both were just a short walk away.

My family stayed here for 10 days and the house was perfect for us. The living/dining area was very large as well as a big master suite. A second refrigerator in the garage was a bonus.. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas to use. The wagon was helpful to carry everything to the beach. We didn't use a cooler or snorkle gear but that was also available.

Exactly as advertised. Family room and kitchen area is huge and fabulous to hang out in together, cook and bbq. Being on the "greenbelt" is a huge plus in our opinion. Master bedroom is also huge with a wonderful bathroom and shower area. The kitchen is the best equipped we have experienced along with spices and other surprises. Location is dependant on one's needs. We were very happy

We had a nice time here. There’s a large master suite at one end of the house. Big, open living room and kitchen, and three smaller bedrooms at the other side of the house. Everything was clean and tidy, and it was about a 5 minute walk to the ocean.

This spacious, lovely home was great for our family vacation. The kids (2&7) loved playing on the greenspace out back, and the 30-somethings and 60-somethings loved the short walk to beaches, restaurants, and pool. This was the best equipped VRBO we’ve ever encountered: coffee grinder & filters, booster seat for the keiki, boogie boards, soccer ball, full spice rack - you sure made our stay easy!

We've been visiting Poipu for over 50 years so this was a major trip for our family including grown children and twin grand babies. How Poipu has grown! This community did not exist when we first came to Kauai. Kauai is still so lovely and this house was very convenient to the beaches we love and have spent many years enjoying.. The house was perfectly clean and as advertised. We had a group of 6 adults, two infants and we were very comfortable in this lovely home.
The property manager and owner were really helpful with any questions or problems . Great home to enjoy all that Poipu has to offer.

Very nice property. Clean, great kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Location was excellent. I was able to walk to the Grand Hyatt (<5 min) for a conference along the green belt. The property was situated about half way between shipwreck beach and brennecke’s/poipu beach which were each about a 7 min walk. Well equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards and even snorkeling gear. The pool was at the other end of the property/community and even though we passed two other pools on the walk, it was definitely the nicest pool on the property and worth the walk. Would stay again!

This house and its amenities made our Poipu experience playful and memorable. The beach gear (masks, boards, umbrellas, etc.) was plentiful. We couldn't ask for anything more--maybe bikes.

Great Place!
We had a wonderful stay. The house was within walking distance to the beach and pool. We did drive to the beach at times.. Because the kids were too tired to walk back. The house was comfortable…especially the huge master bedroom. There was a lot of beach equipment to use, which was nice! Poipu is a nice area, very touristy. We ventured all over Kauai, all within easy driving distance. Had a great trip to Kauai!

We loved the house ... very clean, beautiful ocean-themed decorations, comfortable beds, nice layout. The kids loved all the backyard space for dancing, etc. as well as the hammock in front. Loved the easy accessibility to Shipwreck Beach in one direction (5 min walk) and Poipu Beach in the other direction (10 min walk). Great cooking supplies and very helpful to have wagon, boogie boards, cooler, etc. available for walks to the beach. Enjoyed grilling one night and eating in the back tables. Highly recommend.

Perfect house
This was a great place for my family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The house has ample space for 8, a huge well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of room to spread out. The greenway just behind the house gave the kids a place to toss a ball and hang out. It was just 5 minutes to the pool and only 10-15 minutes to beaches. In other words, an ideal location. We loved it and hope to come back soon.

We loved our stay at this house. The property was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. There was an extra fridge in the garage, as well. It was nice having beach supplies such as boogie boards and snorkel equipment as well as plenty of beach towels. The location on the greenbelt was fantastic. I loved getting up early in the morning to drink my coffee on the lanai and listen to the birds. We would definitely stay here again.
