Everything about this home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was huge and contained more items than any gourmet cook could hope for. It was near a large table that was perfect for group meals and family games. The hot tub was the best we have ever used - very clean, hot and great jets. Thank you for a great time!

Our family loved this place inside and out! Our yellow lab stayed busy chasing balls in the large, fenced yard, and our grandchlidren stayed busy splashing around in the peaceful creek just outside the property gate! We didnt even need to fight the crowds on the Russian River! Then, there was the hot tubbing, Smores around the fire pit, and the gourmet kitchen! Loads to do and not enough time to do it all!

It was a beautiful setting in the redwoods. Super clean and exactly what was advertised. Great accommodations

Perfect spot for families with kids - they spent hours and hours playing in the meadow. Sunshine, redwoods, smores at the campfire, and access to the creek - what more can you want? Kitchen spacious and well appointed. Private, quiet, clean - this is our second visit and we'd love to make it an annual tradition.

This is the absolute best VRBO in the Cazadero area. We've stayed at many and none were as spacious, clean, well-stocked, or beautiful. There was so much open space for our dogs to run. Plenty of space to talk and spend quality family time. This was also the most stocked rental house I've ever rented. They have EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the kitchen - it's better stocked than my house! Tony was super helpful and communicative. The house was even nicer than the photos. We really had the absolute best weekend and will definitely be back!

This grand home was perfect to celebrate our family Christmas together. The kitchen is one of those types that budding chefs dream of. It is well stocked with all the tools of the trade and is integrated into the living space so that we could cook and visit at the same time. The giant hot tub was a plus, we even jumped into the river for a cold plunge. The house has a good heating system and three bathrooms is a nice bonus with 7 people. The beds are top of the line with cozy bedding. The only thing, and it is small, is I wish the lighting over the dining room table was not the outdoor type spot lights with cold color lighting. This took away from a cozy atmosphere that the rest of the house radiates. Overall, this was an amazing home and we loved the beautiful redwood setting with so much property to walk the dogs through.

Idyllic setting, beautiful and comfortable house with all the imaginable amenities! Tony (the owner) was incredible to work with, very communicative and helpful. My husband and I, our adult daughter and her partner all absolutely loved it. The house was clean and well-appointed with everything we could have asked for with great attention to detail--from the spices, water in the refrigerator, huge selection of dishes, utensils and cookware, wood for the fire, games--I can't even begin to name all of the conveniences offered at this property. The beautiful setting with redwoods, access to the creek, firepit and hot tub didn't hurt either! Thank you Tony for a wonderful stay!

Had a great time relaxing and hanging out with family and friends. Sunday morning our son made cinnamon rolls in the fabulous kitchen.

We spent a lovely relaxing long weekend here, it is a gorgeous location set amongst redwood trees & a creek at the end of the garden. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything that you need for family cooking.

This was our third stay and we will return! Our extended family loves the beautiful property and home.

We had an incredible Christmas getaway at this thoroughly incredible property. The house was immaculate and so well cared for and maintained. The host Tony was so communicative, and we are so thankful for our stay at Villa Ratto. Our dog Charlie loved the fenced in property with so much room to roam. The weather was wet during our stay, but all the better for a warm soak in the hot tub (with great jets) and hanging out with a roaring fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is fantastic. We have stayed at dozens of properties at the Russian River...but we have found our new favorite. We can't wait for our next visit!!

This house is great. There were 6 of us and plenty of room. Everything about the house was great and it has a huge yard which our 4 dogs loved. We all agreed that we had never rented a house so well equipped. We really enjoyed ourselves.

My family and I decided to spend Thanksgiving weekend at this property. I picked the place based on the photos of large level areas for my kids to run around freely. The reality definitely lived up to my expectations. Multiple mature apple, persimmon, and fig trees were an added treat! The redwood trees are really magical. The house itself is spacious, clearly new and well taken care of. We appreciated how well stocked the house was, from linens to hot chocolate. I really can not recommend this property more. The one small downside is that you can hear the traffic of Cazadero highway from across Austin Creek, but it's not too bad (only outside, not in the house).

This is a wonderful house for just what we wanted . Beautiful setting with the redwoods and the bountiful apple trees. Also the gourmet kitchen provided us with every thing we could have needed. i highly recommend visiting this home. Thank you Tony for being so nice and accommodating.

Villa Ratto is perfect! We loved exploring the huge yard. Our 9 year old searched for the special statues and hidden peaceful areas among the redwoods. And the fruit trees were amazing! We spent a lot of time outdoors playing games. The hot tub was used daily. The open kitchen is so well equipped and spacious and flows into the living room area.. The bedrooms are very comfortable. This property truly felt like home. Our family has stayed in many vrbo’s and Villa Ratto is one of our favorites! Thank you Mr. Ratto, for making this a carefree, peaceful getaway!

Staying here was as easy as walking into your own home. Tony is a great communicator, helping with our questions as they arose. The house is fabulous - high end kitchen, double pane windows, adequate seating in dining area & also living area. Being safely in two acres filled with fruit trees, well maintained areas for dogs, children, fun or relaxing in shade or sun. The house is very well equipped & lots of special extras offered, chocolates, coffee, tea, cocoa. We were spoiled by the luxurious extras. Highly recommend Villa Ratto! A huge thanks to Tony for making our stay so easy & comfortable.

We had a wonderful family vacation during our second stay at this beautiful property. We only wish that we could have stayed longer.

This home was even better than billed with amazing amenities such as Ghiradelli chocolates, Peets Coffee, Popcorn, Hot Chocolate. If this house doesn't have it. You probably haven't found it like we forgot to bring bakong powder for pancakes from scratch and my wife made do with a trick of using vinegar...before we found that yes, the Ratto larder did have baking powder. The interior is perfect for a family with an open kitchen living room dining room design but three private bedrooms. The 2 acre grounds with fruit tree orchards and redwood stands were jeavrn for our two city dogs and our busy toddler granddaughter. The hot-tub was a delight. We had one problem that only highlighted how thoughtful and responsive our host. Tony Ratto was. He discovered a problem with the refrigerator that was a glistening pretty new Kenmore Elite...it wouldn't cool! He only discovered it the morning of our arrival. He texted us, but in the chaos of our departure I didn't see it. We arrived with a full week of food for our stay and were worried we would lose some of it to spoilage. Tony saved the day by arriving with a new 5ft tall backup new fridge from home depot because getting the big one repaired just couldn't be done in a timely way. We lost nothing and Tony gave us money to buy ice since it didn't have an icemaker or come with ice trays. Tony was the perfect host who really cared about our family having a good time which we did. Only thing wrong was one week was not enough!

This was a wonderful getaway. The kitchen is extremely well appointed for a rental, the property is full of fruit trees, the hot tub was lovely, the beds were cozy. Lovely place to gather with friends and family. We had a blast playing cornhole, too!

A perfect spot to recharge with the family after a year hiding from Covid. Lots of room for the grandkids to run, s’mores by the fire pit each night, a hot tub for relaxing AND the wonderful, FULLY Stocked home. It was a joy for all!

I spent a week here with my family and loved everything about the house and grounds. The grounds were perfect for badminton, croquet and corn hole. Short drive to coast and Bodega Bay. We loved the fully equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed. The house was very clean. We will be back. My grandkids cried when we left. They loved the freedom of the grounds. I definitely recommend!

This property was beyond beautiful and peaceful especially for a Mother's Day get away. Kitchen fully stocked with everything a chef could ask. Clean and lovely inside. Grounds so lovely and access to the creek. A nature persons dream come true! Close to beaches and small towns. Definitely to go again!

We had an amazing Memorial Day Weekend here. The house was very clean and well stocked. The property itself is larger than I envisioned from the pictures. So many redwoods. There is access to a nearby creek that you can walk along and I suspect swim in at certain times of the year. Tony was very responsive and easy to deal with. I can't wait to come back.

The place looks like it was on an old compound so it feels isolated with a great outdoor space. Beautiful redwoods and a field just outside the. Ack door. The inside was actually nicer and more updated than the pictures look. The place is dog friendly but after booking the place we found extra charges for dog hair etc... we haven’t been charged yet but worth being aware.

The house was so comfortable! We loved that the kitchen was so fully stocked and it’s so rare to find a King bed at a rental property. Everything was extremely thoughtful, including the toiletries and snacks provided. Would definitely stay again.

Five of us in our family (three humans and two dogs) had a terrific stay at the property. The home was comfortable and extremely well-stocked. The kitchen had anything you could want, there were plenty of towels and linens, and a nice collection of games. Wi-fi worked well through the home. The fenced in yard was great for the pups (although the yard is big enough that you should keep a very close eye on unleashed dogs). Would recommend for a lazy trip away for some terrific quiet time.

This house is nestled in its own redwood grove on a two acre parcel off Austin Creek in Cazadero, CA. The house itself has an open floor plan, with high ceilings over a giant kitchen counter and living area. The kitchen and house could not be organized any better, with everything you could possible need for your stay, including spices, oil, and a coffee and tea nook! It was like a bed and breakfast without the live-in host. It’s a walk across the property to access the creek and the road leading in is a perfect hike. Also, the local roads have gentle, rolling hills, which are ideal if you want to hop on a bike and ride through the countryside. Nice place!

We enjoyed our girls weekend at Cazadero. The house is even better in person. The kitchen is very well stocked which made cooking and baking so much more easy and enjoyable! The beds were cozy and warm and relaxing on the oversized coach with a fire going was beyond relaxing. We enjoyed walking the grounds and taking in the beauty and fresh air of the outdoors. The redwood trees are amazing! We plan to stay again next year! Thanks for a great getaway!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving at this amazing property. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our holiday meal, we lacked for nothing. We loved the redwood trees and fruit trees on the property and the flat area was great for playing cornhole. We used the fire pit and jacuzzi almost every night. We will recommend this property to all our family and friends.
