Absolutely loved my stay here and by far the best place I stayed in India. From as soon as I checked in Clint & Alina made me feel welcome. Clint is always on hand to answer any questions or requests and also booked a great trip for me for the backwaters which I loved. Breakfast had a lot of choices and the host at breakfast always greeting everyone with a happy personality and happy to help if you want anything not on the buffet. Rooms where big and modern and Air con was Super quiet which was great to get a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Location is also excellent. Thanks Clint for making my stay perfect 👌🏽

Great place to stay near the beach. Restaurant and swimming pool on property. Beach 100 m and easy walk to restaurants . Lovely to join the crowds watching the sun go down . We didn’t have a car but tuctucs available to take you everywhere. 150mr to shopping and backwater in Alleppey. Host will arrange backwater trip , taxi ,massage treatments , very helpful.

Having stayed at hotels in Kerala many times before, we are overjoyed to have come by Beach Haven Villas. It is by far the best accommodation we have found in this area. The manager, Clint, was nothing but helpful, cheerful and friendly. The receptionist Rosemary was just as wonderful, as well as the amazing cleaning ladies. They all work night and day to provide a beautiful environment, with a very personable atmosphere and great support to guests. We stayed in two different rooms, both spacious and comfortable, clean and nicely laid out. They were kept very clean and refreshed by the staff. There is also a games room with different activities, a badminton court, a large and well kept space of green, and a beautiful infinity pool that lights up in the evening, features a big Buddha statue and multiple sun-beds. This was relatively empty so we enjoyed having the space to ourselves a lot of the time. The restaurant is a stunning, open space. The breakfast at Haven was nice, and it is offered in the room price. The restaurant was ran by Saji, a lovely man who was more than accommodating and friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience staying at Allepey Beach Haven and we will be back!

Don’t get flattered by the photos and high ratings on Booking.com. This property is less than average and do not quite understand whether it qualifies in the resort category at all. I booked two Superior rooms for 3 nights but have to check out one day earlier at a loss of approx Rs 13000 (inc GST). - Narrow access roads. Difficult for traveller or vans. Small cars are fine. - Limited parking within the compound, but only for small cars 5% surcharge on credit card. Debit cards do not work. Tried 2 NRI bank debit cards, but transaction failed. Only my overseas credit card worked. Otherwise they needed cash. - Poor maintenance of rooms - Under construction or maintenance - Paint smell in the room - Mosquitoes - Foul smell in the toilet / bathroom - Stained bed sheets / towels - Ants in the room, bed and toilet - No mineral water provided - No intercom / telephone - No mini fridge - Intermittent power outage - No handrails for the stairs (safety issue) - Some rubbish stored under the staircase - Superior room does not look any superior! Overall it was not a good experience.
