Room door was not working.Anyone can open the door .Windows cannot be locked properly.Intercom phone not working.Price is very high but not worth.

The property is absolutely unique…if you are looking for a stay in a heritage property, this is the ideal one. This property has a very old charm. The staffs are really nice and helpful.

Though the property is old but little touch up is required in the bathrooms, especially the fittings and fixtures as many of it are broken. The property needs deep cleaning as well.

Location, Amenities and It’s got a vibe to it

Focus a bit on cleanliness and do a few renovation works to make it luxurious

As my original room did have too many mosquitoes, I got a free upgrade to a room with no mosquitos at all and this room was perfect! The whole hotel area is really beautiful decorated, the pool area great for relaxing, the food great and the distance to the beach is very close. Also I want to mention the great hotel staff, who were really friendly and my driver Firoz, who drove me very confident and safe to different places such as an Elephant Park.

As they leave all unbooked rooms open the whole time, mosquitos are free to go everywhere. This should be overthinked.

Great breakfasts. Books to read. Swimming pool. Cold beer. Tuk Tuk R160 to ferry or bus.

The hotel seems to be an old palace. It was amazing to see the architecture. The beach was right across the road. Bathroom was clean and we were provided with toiletries. Dinner was good. For lunch, there was not much options so we went to Ramada resort which had good options. We wanted nut free food. There is a tourism police station next to this place.

Not much parking available for customers as we had to use the beach parking. Not much places to eat food around the hotel, hence had to take the car and drive to the town. Traffic was really bad as drive from hotel to ramada hotel took an hour. Suggest take an auto instead of car.
