We really enjoyed our stay at Stage Stop Cabin. It was a little peace of heaven and wonderful retreat to slow down after visiting the Black Hills Rally during the day. It is very peaceful and quiet on Gilded Mountain and wildlife is abundant (deer, turkeys, squirrels, birds) The house is in perfect condition, very spacious and is equipped with everything you need.
The only minor down point were the parking areas, which are not suitable for motorcycles.
According to the description it is not quite clear if the swimming pool is private (directly at the cabin) or at the clubhouse.
We are glad we chose this accommodation for our stay during the visit to the Black Hills and the Black Hills Motorcycle Rally.

Nice quiet cabin in the Woods the furniture is in great shape the grill is clean with plenty of propane. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and was responsive to all of our needs The kitchen is tidy and tons of space. The hot tub was ready and well cared for. The property manager was very responsive to all of our needs

Our family was impressed with how spacious, clean and beautiful this house was! With 4 bedrooms that could sleep 12 people and 3 1/4 baths, everyone was very comfortable. Brenda responded quickly and answered all our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed (& more!) and is very organized. We completely enjoyed our stay!

Very comfortable house in a spacious development. Great location. In the middle of all the Black Hills sights. Grocery store a few miles away. Huge house, nicely stocked. Hot tub bonus.
If you can afford it, look no further.

Quiet stay with family
The whole house is well taken care of. Host was extremely timely with all questions. Location is high in the mountains but still close to amenities. Hot tub and community pool was so much fun for the kids.

Family Getaway
The cabin was great!!!! It had everything that we needed. Great central area for us. We went to Mt Rushmore and Custer State park. Brenda was great to work with and gave great ideas for groceries. Lead was a cute and very friendly town. Will definitely visit again!!

Place was nicer in person than in pictures! Large enough for our family with lower level perfect for teens. Easy check in and easy proceds. Highly recommend!

Great location and accommodations.
The layout was great. 2 bdr 2bth upstairs. 2bdr 1 bth down. Good for a dividing up families/kids. Good entertaining inside and out on the deck. Close to a lot of the Black Hills highlights. Only neg is the chairs and stools need updating and beds are uncomfortable. I would still recommend just bring extra padding. Thumbs up

Photos are deceiving
We have been coming to the Black Hills for years staying at several cabins. This is the first time I would not recommend or return to a property. The basement was leaking water and I informed the owner. She said would have someone come take a look and no one ever showed even after I sent additional message. Obviously this has been going on as she knew exactly were spots were. All the chairs were broken, towel racks in bathrooms were broken, kitchen pot handles broken and decor was a hodpeg of whatever she could throw places. Theme- the place was a broken mess!

Great property, location, more than expected
Great communication, was more that we excepted. Nicely designed and decorated home. Will stay there again, this was a scouting run for bringing some friends up next year. Cannot wait to go back

Clean and Private
We were a party of nine and everyone had their own bed. Cabs service the area with a short ride into Deadwood. Brenda was great at letting us known about the cabin and its amenities. Would stay again!

Well suited rental for all ages
The cabin was clean and cozy and the club house is amazing. My husband enjoyed watching the big screen television in Bar area. My children enjoyed the club house pool and the bedrooms were comfortable and the cabin sleeps a lot of people. Lead and Deadwood are very close with tons of activities. All in all this was a terrific home in a great location!
