Quite relaxing getaway. Our 1 year anniversary a nice getaway from all the noise of york pa.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. It was such a perfect location with beautiful views!

This is the 3rd time that we have rented the camp for the opening days of the Pa. Deer season . The camp is a perfect fit for our needs . The place is immaculate , not sure anything could be better. We love it and will be back next year .

This cabin is spacious, clean, comfy, and stocked with everything but your own food items. Gretta responded, and acted, quickly when needed. We felt so welcome and relaxed during our stay. The location is beautiful and convenient to nearby needs and wants. We highly recommend this cabin and it's hosts.

Cabin was perfect for our quick trip to Allengheny National Forest. Even better than decribed! Cant wait to come back!

Such a cute, warm and beautiful cabin! The hosts thought of everything from the coffee/tea bar to plenty of towels. We have stayed in many VRBO's and Gretta was one of the most organized with information, a detailed email and a binder of information when we arrived! Very nicely decorated! Since it was fall, I was worried about being warm enough, but the heaters were perfect and we were very cozy! I would like to come back when it's warmer to enjoy the beautiful deck, outside furniture and picnic tables by the river! I enjoyed bringing my coffee to the river in the mornings to enjoy the fall beauty! We will be back! Thank you!

My husband had a nice getaway at this lovely cabin. The owner was beyond wonderful. The cabin was spotless and very well decorated. It was as cozy as can be. We really enjoyed the back deck with the chiminea. It was perfect for fall evenings. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back!!

Everything as expected and relaxing

The first night my granddaughter who is 17yr. had to sleep with me as the neighbor to the right of me was having an all day party into the next morning abpout 3:30 AM., very loud music etc. so she could not sleep on the pull out but all in all a great time

2nd time staying here, this time all by myself for some much needed relaxation.

The owner provided everything to make us comfortable. The location was remote, quiet, and peaceful. It’s the perfect runaway destination to get away from the rat-race of life.

It was a great stay. You can see the fireflies during the night right off the patio. Great fish and kayaking access in the back. Super clean and hosts were great. My boyfriend loved it for a birthday getaway. Will definitely go back.

The property was clean and very well stocked. Great was very quick to respond to questions. Unfortunately the neighbors were loud and obnoxious. I really didn't have any quite mornings or evenings and he played his radio all day every day. The property is loçated on a channel so you have to cross it and then cross to the other side of the island to get to the main river.

This was a fanatic rental for a long weekend getaway. The area is nice and quiet with beautiful scenery. Gretta explained everything so well and even went into details about what’s available in the area for activities to restaurants to doctors offices if needed. I would absolutely come back here in the future. It’s a nice home away from home.

We had a wonderful time relaxing by the river and on the porch. The fireplace on the porch was amazing!

2nd Visit and we had a great time. We enjoyed making a fire every night and spent a few hours down by the river relaxing. Close to some great hiking trails which is why we came to the forest. Hope to return again.

Detach from everyday norms. Our stay here allowed us to do just that. We had all the comforts of home without chaos. Beautiful deck with fireplace, picnic table by the river watching the geese. Nap tested recliners. Comfortable bed and beautiful decor. Conveniently located near town with many wonderful eatery’s yet out of the way from society. This was the perfect location to suit our needs. Our host was beyond exceptional. Everything we could possibly need was available to us. Our host was fantastic at communication. Everything in home clearly labeled in a way to flow with the decor. I highly reccoment this property!

Cute, cozy cabin. Beautifully decorated and well-appointed. Location was easy to find and had a lovely deck and backyard. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace in the evenings. Only downsides were there were not fresh linens on the beds when we arrived and neither bed was very comfortable.

This place is my annual retreat to the woods. The house is always clean and comfortable. Gretta is a gracious host. And the river is literally in the backyard. I love the windows in the back of the house. It’s a perfect place to unplug.

We had a wonderful stay here and the start of fall colors made it even more so. We enjoyed being near the River and exploring the area. The weather was unseasonably warm so we did not take advantage of either the indoor or outdoor fireplaces but they looked very inviting. Because you are near the River make sure you bring your bug spray!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay, even though the weather prevented us from taking full advantage of its outdoor area. The cabin was clean and furnished with everything we needed.

We had a great weekend away at this sweet little place. The hosts thought of everything and more. Clean, welcoming, and great outdoor space.
