This was such an amazing property and it turned out to be such a nice getaway for our family. Sal was so accommodating, and his recommendations for activities in the area were spot on. The cottage is in excellent condition and has so many unique touches that add to its character. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Just got back from a great couple of days at this amazing property. It has everything you need. Very clean and well put together. Kids had a blast using the included paddle boat, paddle board and kayak. Fire pits and stars at night. Within driving distance to Rickets Glen and Boulder Field which we enjoyed immensely. On-site property owners are very nice down to earth people. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

A wonderful alternative to our usual resort/hotel stays. We spent 5 days in total tranquility. Amazing to "hear" silence. The cabin was excellent with everything we needed. Handwritten notes from the Owner made everything easy to find and operate. Owner was happy to give advance information on activities, restaurants etc. We would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to really get away and find peace and quiet. We will be visiting again.

This beautiful cottage on Lake Lily checked all the boxes and then some. The lake view was a bonus as we took advantage of the row boat and the scenic hiking trails, The house was very comfortable, updated, and clean. Such a peaceful beautiful cottage. The location was a perfect place to disconnect and relax, along with outstanding lake views. The craftsmanship of the cottage was truly exceptional. One felt right at home with all the comfortable amenities. Just what we needed!

My wife, dog, and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront house. The place was very clean, nicely furnished, and situated with a gorgeous view of the state park side of the lake. We especially liked the enclosed back porch (please add a photo to your description) for coffee in the morning, and a glass of wine late day. We used the rowboat for fishing, and the kayak for cruising around the lake. We also spent time hiking here, and at Ricketts Glen State Park. We highly recommend this property, and look to return again in the future.

We stayed for 3 relaxing days with our dog at the cottage. The moment we entered the property and saw the view, our stress melted away. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and took advantage of the paddle boat. We also loved sitting by the fire or on the dock. The cottage is beautiful and well maintained, the details both in and out are superb. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, book this cottage. We loved everything about it and hope to return.

This beautiful house on Lily Lake has become my favorite getaway. Comfortable, private, beautiful, surrounded by nature--it's a welcome retreat from a busy world and, let's face it, stressful times. This is my third time staying here and I will continue to return over and over again.

My husband and I spent a week at this perfect lake house. If I were to have a second home for the two of us, this would be it. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the interior of the cottage was wonderful down to the last detail - modern, with high quality finishes, but with a craftsman-era feel. We also loved the two outdoor areas, a screened porch overlooking the lake and dock, and a stone patio with grill off the kitchen. Bob, the owner, who lives in another house on the property, couldn’t have been nicer or more responsive when we had two small issues. In addition to being on a beautiful lake, the cottage is near some wonderful recreation areas, including Ricketts Glen State Park, with a spectacular trail that takes you closely past 22 waterfalls. If you like vacations with nightlife and fancy restaurants then this is probably not the place for you. If you want to relax in a lovely little cottage in a gorgeous setting, you will love this place.

Such a sweet little cabin. There are neighbors, but it feels remote. Great getaway! The property is just beautiful, the cabin is even better than pictures, and the owners were just lovely and very helpful when needed. The kids had so much fun swimming, skipping stones, and taking out all types of boats. We can't wait to go back!

The Guest House at Lily Lake is even sweeter in person than the pictures show. The inside is carefully and tastefully decorated with warm inviting furnishings, beautiful knickknacks, original artwork, wainscoting on the ceiling, crown molding, and soft earth tones. All rooms are fresh, inviting, and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of four adults. Outside is equally as lovely, with a natural stone patio in the front surrounded by pachysandra and rhododendrons, providing privacy from the house above on the hill. My favorite spot was the screened in porch that overlooks the lake and gently wooded area; a quiet place to enjoy morning coffee, feel the cool breeze, and listen to the sounds of nature. Brought back wonderful memories of my childhood at my grandparents’ house on another lake in the Poconos. By the water you will find a paddle board, two person paddle boat and kayak, and row boat. There are two private docks for easy access, a soft moss and grassy area with table and chairs, and a fire pit with adirondacks and tree stumps to sit on. We took advantage of everything! Renting the house was a breeze. Sal was quick to respond to any questions and was very helpful and friendly in his communications. Elaine and Bob, the owners, were equally as delightful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was as pleasant and relaxing as possible. They shared the wonderful history of the house, grounds, and lake, putting a personal spin on our already thoroughly enjoyable vacation. Sitting here now, I wonder how I got so lucky to happen upon this listing! You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay or better folks to rent from! We had a lovely week long stay on the lake! The house is immaculate and filled with antique details. The property managers were extremely responsive and generous with their time. We loved that one side of lake is Federal land - it makes for a uniquely quieter and more private lake experience. Thanks!

I was looking for someplace comfortable, cleanly, homey & beautiful to enjoy a few days away from the city with my pup to start the new year and The Guest House at Lily Lake was all those things and more. The cottage is perfectly situated to enjoy the views and walks around the lake. And has everything you need to feel like you are at home away from home. The property managers were super responsive and welcoming without being at all intrusive and it was great having them nearby. I will definitely return and already look forward to it. This property and it’s managers never let us down. It’s a great place to escape the rigors of everyday life and just relax. We love taking our dog up in the fall to see the leaves and enjoy the lakeside campfires. This property is a gem for those wishing to get off grid and escape contact, without leaving behind everyday luxuries.

We have been camping for the last couple of years and I must say this was our best experience by far. We rented the place for 2nights. Lily lake itself is a beautiful/secluded place but the location of this home was immaculate. Right on the edge where you have nothing but the nature, yet it is just 2mins drive from the state road. When we arrived, the door was open (as per the instructions we received prior to our arrival). The home was spotless - Very neat, clean, polished and true to the pictures. Everything was right at its place. The interior design of the house, the appliances, the crockeries, the cabinets and space usage is something worth noting. There are 3 places to relax, cook and enjoy the nature. The best is the backyard firepit, right by the Lily lake. During our stay unfortunately we got one evening of bad weather. But have no worries, the home is equipped with a screened back porch where you can sip wine and enjoy the rain with a view of the lake. And for cooking, the home has a shaded front porch with a gas grill. We did our baby back ribs night there. So, weather could play a spoilsport due to the arrangements at the house. Needless to say, the house is pet friendly and has amenities for outdoor/indoor activities. It has a pedal boat and a kayak. We went out for kayaking at Lily lake. Given the serene surrounding, it was just a calming experience. The home also has a big screen TV where you can plug in a HDMI cable and your games. Last but not the least, i have to mention the service we received from the owners. Right from the start when we booked the place, to the instructions we received, to the after service (we mistakenly left one of our utensils, he mailed it to us); it was a consistent high quality service which made us feel right at home. All in all, by far the best camping experience by a long shot. Really recommend young couples with pets to go there with friends.

We just returned from a Girls' Weekend at this gorgeous little cabin. We discussed our review this morning: Immaculate, warm, cozy, thoughtfully appointed, well-loved by its owners, beautifully decorated, true to pictures, secure. Perfect for four people (or less). The bedding is beautiful, the towels were fluffy and EVERYTHING was spotless. The kitchen cabinets are just stunning. This is a well crafted little getaway. The owners are fantastic to deal with. We had an amazing dinner at The Old Tioga Farm which was recommended by the owner. You will need a GPS to get around the area (we got lost pretty much everywhere we went lol) but it was all part of the adventure. If you are considering this property, don't hesitate, you'll be very happy here.
