The house was just the right size for our family of four. Even though temperatures were warm outside, the individual room AC units kept it comfortable. Nice shower in the one bathroom and we were able to rotate in and out with no issues. Mattress on the bed at the top of the first stair landing could use a nice thick pad, but otherwise, no issues. Perfect little crash pad!

We did enjoy everything but there were things that needs attention like dusty windows and the couch need deep cleaning or replacement due to big stains on it. Overall we did enjoy or stay and looking forward to book this place again in the future.

This place was absolutely gorgeous. We had a set of grandparents, a 19 year old couple and adolescent brother/sister in our group. Everyone loved the house and had plenty of room. Although just one bathroom, it was really not a problem. The house was in a beautiful residential area. We were busy every day and it was great coming “home” to this house. Absolutely would stay here again. We had trouble figuring out the radiant heaters but otherwise everything was great!

We enjoyed our stay and the location was good for us. Unfortunately, only 2 bedrooms had A/C units so our older daughter's room got really warm. Otherwise, everything was great.

This is a charming home with lots of cute lil things like the arched walkways and stained glass window. Its close to everything cool and that was also a huge plus. I did pick it in part for the big ass bathtub which was like a lil swimming pool for our 6 year old, and relaxing for the rest of us. I liked that I was able to check in and out with out having to meet anyone lol because I hate formalities. We had a good stay and I would recommend it to others!

We loved staying here! I know some people mentioned that the bathtub might be difficult for people with mobility issues... I use a scooter and have two bad knees and I didn't have a problem.... some people with different issues might, but there are handrails and steps also. I loved the huge bathtub! We took our 4 year old twin granddaughters to spend time doing fun things in the area... everything we wanted to do was close by. We will be back next year... maybe with all four grandkids next time.... plenty of room for everyone... quick response from the host the one time we did reach out... thank you, thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was clearly labeled and when we had questions the property manager was extremely responsive. There is only one bathroom (so we had to manage that with our teenage sons!), but the bedrooms are great and all separate/quiet, so it gives everyone room to spread out when necessary.

Not a place I'd stay at again or recommend. A week before the trip I emailed inquiring about kitchen bakeware items, storage containers, kitchen supplies like reynolds wrap (we love to grill), cling wrap, etc. NO REPLY ever received. It was very warm the 1st week of August in Colorado Springs. A 4 bedroom household with 2 floor air condition units and those were the same 2 rooms with a ceiling fan. The other 2 bedrooms, no fan or floor air condition unit. The main floor had only 1 floor air condition unit in the very large living room at one end of the room with a floor fan to try to blow air clear across to the sitting area that clearly didn't work. The floor rugs and cloth couch needs cleaned. The dining room has a ceiling fan, but the 3 windows that forms a rectangle around the dinner table only has sheers for curtains that allowed hot sunlight in the majority of the day making it very warm starting by 10:30/11:00 AM. The kitchen has 2 windows with no curtains and sunlight coming in all day long. It was extremely hot in the kitchen all the time. The back door that you enter into the kitchen and has keypad for access is missing the threshold so there's a gap with daylight coming through the bottom along with the heat and bugs. There was also only 1 set of dishes so after every meal had to do dishes. With 4 bedrooms 8-10 people staying there, you'd expect enough dishware to get through all meals for 1 full day. No dish cloths to use for washing the dishes or wiping down the dining table or countertops. There were plenty of pots to cook with, I'll give the place that. Was excited about the place having a grill, but no grilling utensils to use for turning the food was a bit of a problem. There were also lots of wasps on the North side which was right by the grilling area. Told the lawn care helper who did nothing but said to be careful when we asked for wasp spray. Starting day 2, would get up at 5:30 AM to open windows to try to cool the household down before closing windows by 10:00 AM. I'd not recommend this place for a full weeks stay during the summer. Maybe early spring or mid to late fall would be better for controlling the households cooling issues since it isn't adequately equipped to control for comfort during hot summer days.

Parking was tight for us because we had a very big pick up. But we got it done haha

The overall place was nice. The biggest issue we had was certain things not being supplied-soap for the dish washer or enough toilet paper. We did get in touch with the property manager about the soap and they were quick to bring us some. We also realized there was a leak from the bathtub to the basement and they were able to have someone come and check it out and make it so we could use it for our stay quickly. Overall very good people to work with and a decent place to stay.

This house was pretty charming, we loved the style. Each of the 4 bedrooms is on its own level, which is a little different, but we made it work with our kids, who are 6&7. The one thing I would mention is the bathtub/shower could be extremely difficult for someone older/poor balance/disabilities to get in and out of. I suggest checking the cabinets before buying food/spices as there are already quite a bit there for you. It looks like other guests may have left some things vs throwing them away at the end of their stay. There’s also shampoo/conditioner/lotion in the bathroom. We we very close to all the things we wanted to do. Great location and great house, we’d be happy to stay again.

When we arrived we realized that the amenity listed of air conditioning was NOT central air. It was a 95 degree day and only one of the room units was set to 74. The rest were not on. The main floor is too big for the a/c unit and the rooms upstairs were hot. The other bedrooms do not have units and the room in the basement smells of mildew. Lock directions were not updated so had to leave door unlocked when we left the first day. Owner did get someone out right away, though, to check and lock door. New instructions were texted. Check out time is 1000. Housekeeper showed up at 0800 and just sat there waiting for us to leave. Uncomfortable and made us feel rushed. We were leaving by 0900 and she stayed the whole time.

This is a very nice rental in a Colorado Springs neighborhood. It is centrally located for day trips to the Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, the zoo and so much more. It is craftsman house, tastefully decorated with a mix of “old” and new. The host were quick to answer text and emails. They provide a nice check in app explaining all of the check in/out, things to do in/out of the house. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and rebook it myself. This was the cutest little place. We loved it and enjoyed walking in the neighborhood as well.

John & Christy were top notch hosts. The house was outstanding with all the amenities you could want or expect. They go above what most vacation rentals would to make you feel comfortable. The house is located next to all highways going to all the great places Colorado Springs has to offer. Weather was beautiful day and night, loved opening the windows or just sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful views. Definitely plan on coming back soon for another break of the stressful world. Shout out to John & Christy for being such great people & responding anytime you need them.

This rental is so conveniently located! We enjoyed the outdoor areas and the quiet neighborhood. The house was clean, cute and quirky and the owner supplied everything we needed. The only issue might be the bath - definitely not for anyone with mobility issues!

Beautiful house with plenty of space for graduation week. The four bedrooms felt life separate hotel suites. We didn’t mind sharing the 1 bathroom because the shower was so nice. Like a mini spa! 5 minutes to the Broadmoor or Old Colorado City & 20 minutes to USAFA. Would highly recommend & there is an additional cottage on the property to rent if you have a larger party.

We had a great visit with our son in a charming/restored Craftsman. The character of the house and the quiet neighborhood in which it sets, helped us reconnect and recharge with one and another- far better than a hotel. We took advantage of short trips to Manitou Springs and Bear Creek trail heads and didn’t really scratch the surface as far as activities. The house was well supplied and we had everything we needed on the kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Definitely want to stay here again,

Great kitchen to prepare big family meals and dining room to sit in. Outdoor area is lovely. Architecture is fabulous. Only complaint would be that the beds are hard.

The house was very nice. It has an updated kitchen, updated bathroom, nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, and a nice living area. I would stay here again. There is parking behind the house. The neighborhood was very quiet.

I was attending a conference at the Broadmoor and The Woodburn Bungalow offered the perfect mix of location, value and comfortable/modern accommodations. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We where able to check in a few hours early. We couldn’t figure out how to use the oven and our host came right over and fixed it. We would definitely stay again. We loved the uniqueness of the house.

We came to spend this Christmas with my brother, his wife and their lilttle shitzu. Us being from Chicago and with 3 children, 2 small kids and 1 teenager. This place surprised me by how well equipped with everything it was. I didn't realize untill the end, how little of anything I needed to bring. In addition to the place having a cute antique charm, the house itself was spacious and ready for the holidays! It had a cute lighted tree and wonderful outside decorations. The area is super quite and has a wonderful view of the mountains. Although we were a group of 7 we made the one bathroom thing work! The bathroom was fully equipped with soap and shampoo, plenty of towels. The only thing I will say is the tub/shower entrance is not for everyone. Definitely wouldn't bring my elderly mother here due to it being really deep and hard to get in. We all had to be careful not to slip but outside of that it was an amazing shower/tub. The kitchen is our hangout room and did not disappoint! There was plenty of storage, counter space, and appliances. I was extremely happy to have a gas stove which was bigger for larger gatherings. We did have a problem with the oven and couldn't use it but the owners were on it and responded quickly, great communication. We mainly stayed inside but there are stores in the surrounding area. We were even able to do a lazy day and ordered food. We stayed in the front house and there was others renting the back house while we stayed. Everyone was friendly and still we all had plenty of parking. I have a 3yr old and a 8yr old who had fun playing inside and outside with plenty of room. We spent a lot of family time everyone had room to spread out. Each room had very clean bedding and plenty of privacy. The beds were a bit of a miss with us adults but the kids loved it so I guess to each it's own. There are a little bit of steps leading to each room, again not for everyone but they were not a lot for us or the never ending energy kids. Overall we will be staying here again the place was exactly what we all needed after such a long year. Such a wonderful place.

Let me first say, I loved this house. It was old and interesting. The layout was unlike any I have seen before. There was a bedroom for everyone in my party. The problems are the accessibility of the bedrooms and the bathtub. There were steps leading to every single bedroom. That made the bedroom inaccessible for my 79-year-old mother, who opted to sleep on the sofa instead of trying to navigate the stairs for any late-night bathroom visits. And there is the second problem. The bathtub in the only bathroom in the house was so deep that only my 20-year-old sons could manage to get in and out of it safely. Thankfully we were only there for 2 nights. There is no way my parents would have been able to climb into it, much less back out of it. Having said that, the bathroom had been renovated and looked beautiful. The whole house was interesting and fun. Just be aware, if you have anyone in your party with physical disabilities or limitations, there may be difficulties. I wish the fact that there are steps into every bedroom had been more clear. I would have probably made a different choice.

The house lists it has AC, this was partially true as it has 3 roll away type AC units. During the peak of summer this was only mildly insufficient. At night it was fine. The arrangements of the rooms was also quite quirky but i don’t mind that so much. The kitchen is also quite new and accommodating. The exterior landscaping was immaculate and incredibly thoughtful, probably my favorite part of the home. The style of home was also a major attraction for me. There is a second home in the rear of the property but it is separate enough to feel quite private regardless.
