Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Check in was easy. Parking was not a problem like most places on the beach. Easy beach access and pool area was great for our little ones. Beautiful views from all of the bedrooms and living room. Communication with the owner/management was quick and reliable before and during stay. Overall was the best place our family has stayed in Daytona in years. Would love to visit again here next year.

We had a great stay. There is construction on the adjacent properties so some big equipment being driven in the beach would be the only negative- the condo is gorgeous, the beach is always amazing. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great vacation .

Maria and property management was extremely helpful and very easy to get a hold of. We encountered no problems. Property manager called to set up an appointment apon arrival to show the condo and amenities throughout the property. Very nice condo with a beautiful view. The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The host Maria was nice and very responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.

Not so nice when Hurricane Ian is looming and eventually traveled right over your vacation destination. But, no refunds within 60 days. That's the rule. We'll get to that in a moment. First, the condo itself: The photos are deceptive. This "million dollar" condo desperately needs a facelift and someone to actually keep it updated. The living room furniture is extremely dated and uncomfortable. Like the stuff you planned to give to the Salvation Army but you have a condo in Florida, so just stick it there. The mattress in the main bedroom is terribly lumpy and one of those cheap pillowtop things that crushes on the sides. The mattress in the queen bedroom is stiff as a board. We had to go out and buy bleach to get rid of the black mold in the main bathroom shower and my husband had to do the cleaning because of my asthma. We left the nasty moldy rolled up mat in the shower alone. So gross!! The same mold was in the single bed bathroom but no one wanted to touch it. A plumber had to be called in to open the drain in one of the sinks. The exhaust fan and light do not work over the stove. On the balcony, if you have a small dog, there is a gap large enough in the railing that your dog could plummet from the 8th floor. The towels are old and small and dingy and tattered. Creepy, really. The coffeemaker leaks when brewing a single cup. Heard the term "lipstick on a pig?" The nicest person we dealt with was a woman named Mary. She was responsive to all our questions and concerns. Back to pre-Hurricane Ian. All the way up to the evening before our trip, I explained to the owner that the hurricane was likely going to affect our own house on the opposite side of the state, his response was, "that does not concern me." I tried being as nice as I could possibly be to plead our case for a refund or some kind of modification since VRBO had all our money (rental, fees, the whole deal). When I asked if the owner would at least work with us to offer us a fair discounted rate to stay the first week of June, which was the first week we were available, he would not. He wanted his rate for June. It was cold and callous. Hurricane Ian turned out to be a devastatingly deadly hurricane and Daytona Beach also took a beating - and we could have been stuck on the 8th floor of this condo building had we not evacuated. We don't ever want to rent from people like this again and will make sure we don't.

This is the second time staying at this condo. Six adults stayed this time and we had plenty of space plus I was able to bring my little 🐶. I love the convenience to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this condo.

We love the property, the only problem was the extra firm bed in the master. Not good for someone with back issues.

Beautiful condo with awesome views of ocean. We moved in and it felt like home. Condo was clean and offered alot of cooking supplies making it very easy to cook in. I would stay here again!

Overall, my family enjoyed our time this week. Despite some minor issues with the condo itself (water leaking in the fridge, only one roll of TP per bathroom, only one side of toaster worked) my major complaint was with the rental company. There was way more paperwork, phone calls and miscommunication than I have ever dealt with renting anywhere. It made it an unpleasant experience before we even arrived.

We didn't realize at first but we stayed in the same room and floor 10 years ago. We loved it then and loved it now. The addition of the new flooring was great. Although not much has been changed since we were there last not much needed to be changed. A bit of touch up paint would help the floor molding but that's about it.

We had a great week. Beautiful views from the balcony. Very large unit. Building and grounds are clean and neat. All furniture in this unit lseems old and furniture in living dirty. Check out process was a disappointment. All condos we have always stayed in you left keys in unit. Had to drive opposite direction to take keys to real estate off at 6am. Because we met cleaning company at condo when we checked in we had no idea where the office was. Had to end up calling answering service at 6am which delayed us leaving area by thirty minutes. Overall a great week!

This is our second stay in this gorgeous condo! It is beautiful, huge, 3 very private bedrooms, each with baths, tons of space, a wrap around glass balcony with amazing beach views and the building is immaculate! Everyone who works there is very friendly, great pool, grounds, etc, and our condo contact, Mary, was very kind, attentive, met us there coming and going and made everything very easy! Condo has beautiful new flooring and everything we needed for a wonderful beach vacation. Couldn't ask for a better vacation home! We all loved it!! Highly recommend!

I stayed here Sept 2020. The property was very nice. The condo was clean and extremely well appointed. I had my 2 kids and 2 friends, my wife, and my two dogs.... we had plenty of room. The balcony is huge, we ate dinner on the balcony several nights. The master bedroom was incredible. We loved this place so much that my wife talks about this condo at least once a week and she monitors the condos for sale in this building only. I have stayed all over the place but this unit is the absolute best.

This condo far exceeded our expectations. It is very large, great for families, closets galore, beach items, kitchen is completely ready for the perfect meal. Dog park is perfect, staff is so friendly. We all Love Mary. She is exceptional at her job. My husband lost his watch & she did not quit until it was found. We will definitely call Ocean Vistas “home” for at least a week next summer.

Place was just as described in photos. Room enough for the entire family of 8. Had everything we needed for the vacation. Mary is absolutely AWESOME. She answered every question we had and was only a quick text or phone call away. Extremely helpful and kept us relaxed and at ease the entire week.

Dirty! dirty!roaches! 1 dish towel, light bulbs need replace manager aware and ignored it, light out over stove, one of the kitchen sink faucet is very loose, refrigerator drawer broken, slider in the dining room area broken with a sign saying not to open it because it is broken - just fix it!

Property was just as described. Mary, was extremely helpful. The tour provided beneficial information not only about the premises but she also shared restaurants that delivered the food you ordered

We stayed at this building 3 months ago and loved the location so wanted to come back. However, this unit is managed by a different company which led to a series of unexpected issues this time. Having booked many vacations on VRBO over the past 10 years, this is the first time we can't rate it at 4 or 5 stars. The first issue we encountered was that, after completing the booking process and making payments on VRBO, we were sent an additional set of paperwork to complete. Part of this required us to submit date of birth, SSN, copies of driver licenses along with credit card information to the management office via unencrypted email. In this age of identity fraud and internet security breach, we did not want to hand over all our confidential personal information to internet con artists on a silver plater. When I called the management office and told them about my concerns, they were very abrupt and unpleasant. After a long conversation with two employees, I eventually got a manager to agree that we would show them these documents upon arrival. The next issue was checking-in. The condo rules require that someone from the management office personally sign us in when we arrive which was how it was done the last time we were here. However, this management office required us to first pick up keys from their office which is 10 min drive from the condo and then meet their cleaning lady to check us in. When I contacted the cleaning ahead of time, she was very rude and said she had stopped checking people in as she had a cleaning business to run. It took multiple calls and texts with the rental office and the cleaning lady just to ensure that we would be able to get into the condo upon arrival. This was never our experience elsewhere. The condo could use better cleaning as carpet was full of stains and floor was dirty. It took less than 10 min for our feet to turn black after walking inside the unit. After so many unpleasant conversations with the rental office and the cleaning lady, we did not want to contact them again to do a better cleaning. By then it was evident that their priority was not customer service but to minimize what they had to do for their jobs. The only part they did well was to text us before our check-out date and remind us to wash towels, take out trash and vacuum any pet hair. Overall, our experience this time was very poor compared to the last stay at a different unit even though they are both in the same building!!

The carpet was absolutely disgusting. I spent 3000 for a week and it reeked of pet. I won’t ever go back. Cleaning came and sprayed twice, I went and bought spray. I was told carpet was being replaced next month. They shouldn’t rent it out till replaced.

This was not your typical oceanfront vacation condo! There were no leaking faucets, creaking doors, or worn out carpets. It was a place of peace, rest, and relaxation! Everything about this 8th floor oceanfront condo apartment was 5 star plus!!! It was exceptionally clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, carefully maintained. The furniture was like new...in each of the 3 bedrooms and baths. Even the pillows and mattresses were lavish, comfortable and supportive. The huge kitchen was tastefully decorated and all appliances were in wonderful working order. There was so much space and so many detail items were provided for us - towels, sheets, beach chairs and umbrella, hair dryer, paper towels, toilet paper, dish and laundry detergents, dishes and eating/cooking utensils. It was like staying at someone's beautiful home! The large sliding glass doors and the floor to ceiling windows in this luxury apartment allowed for stunning views of the ocean below. The wrap around balcony was to die for! We ate out on the balcony table often and even grilled one evening. The building's exercise room, hot tub, heated pool, and outside solarium area were always clean and well maintained. A big thank you to all the Ocean Vista management and maintenance workers. Job well done. The entire building is kept spotless and in good working order! We felt safe and protected during this time of ongoing pandemic. As vacation guests, we were treated with great hospitality and kindness. Thanks to this gracious condo owner and to Mary, the condo's domestic engineer. She's worth her weight in gold! We give this vacation condo a "golden buzzer" and pray we will get the chance to come and vacation here again soon! It was wow....and everyone deserves a little wow in this lifetime!
