We actually had a great time in Au Train on a planned ski weekend that was snowless. Great space for 5 adults, two teenagers and two dogs. The location was actually perfect - maybe even more convenient than right on the lakeshore. Cory took care of two minor issues we had immediately. Would stay again without question.

The kitchen was well stocked for sure. We had plenty of towels and toilette paper. When we called for additional paper products and towels they were delivered promptly. There is plenty of room for up 10 I'd say without using the futons for sleeping. There are a couple of futons but who really wants to sleep on one. The living room furniture could use an update but it was adequate. I read past complaints about the floors being dirty. Just to let you know every time you come back in the house you are bringing lots of sand with you so just sweep the floor daily. There were 6 of us, all adults, and we really enjoyed our stay at this house.

My wife and I along with some of our friends decided to go up north to see pictured rocks and the fall colors. We wanted a spacious and comfortable place to stay and this place fit our exact wants. It was so spacious comfortable with amazing amenities. The host was welcoming and responded to any inquires. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a nice home. My friends and I will most definitely rent this property again for future adventures!

This property was absolutely perfect in every way! The beds were super comfy with an abundance of pillows and extra blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and several different types of spices, along with coffee and filters. The living and dining room/kitchen area was open-concept and great for visiting, meals, and playing games and watching TV. The deck had a sitting area and grill and the backyard boasted a fire pit with plenty of chairs. We rented for the Northern/Michigan Tech football game and it was awesome for some much-needed extended family time. There are plenty of ORV trails right near the rental and the beach is a super short walk. There is a cute store with many different types of foods (fresh soups, breads, pizza, etc.) and even a deck of cards since we forgot ours right across the street. A true UP hidden gem! We will definitely be back!

Well stocked and well kept house with comfortable furnishings and fenced backyard. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. We hope to be return again someday.

It was the perfect place to lay our heads. The place was just the right size. The owners were accommodating to our needs. The beds were so comfortable. The separation between bedrooms was ideal. It was nice to bring the pups! The different exits for dogs was nice. The only downsize was it needs a deep cleaning. It was great location and price for where/what we were there to do! Thank you

We have stayed at this property and it does not disappoint. Conveniently located for anything you may want to do, hike, golf, enjoy the beach. Highly recommend it.

Really liked location and this place would be great for a bunch of beer drinking snowmobile riders during winter months. Had a very nice kitchen. Our issues were there were spiders and insects everywhere. Cobwebs on many ceilings and a dirty hardwood floor that left our feet covered in dog hair from previous guests. Really nice TVs, but good luck watching anything on them. There was horrible Wi-Fi and was unable to use TVs or our devices. Unless you have Verizon, forget about making phone calls. There was a leak in a lower level bedroom directly over the bed, yes that really sucked. The backyard is basically all dirt, which would be fine in the winter. I made a number of these things clear to the property manager before I left and what I got was “sorry about that.”

We really enjoyed this trip. The house was perfect for 6 of us with plenty of room. Snowmobile trails were so close to the house. Plenty of parking for three trucks and trailors. Cory was an amazing host! He allowed us parking across the street from the house at his summer buisness. This allowed for alot of room. He was super accommodating. We definitely want to go back! Johnny the cleaning guy does amazing. We walked in early and he was scrubbing the showers clean! He definitely took a lot of pride in his job and scrubbed the bathrooms and house spotless. It was really a great place to stay. You will love it if you choose this property!!! Have fun 😁

This is our second time staying here. We totally love the place! It is an ideal location. Da Big House is perfect for our needs. Gas and store are right across the street. The trail is 200 yards from the house. Cory, the property manager, is very easy to work with. We will be back in the future.

It was sooo Christmas like me and my family loved it. I also loved that they didn’t deny me just by seeing my name. I loved it will be back in the summer for sure!!!

This place could easily sleep 10-12 but very comfortably housed our 7 person family. Plus the furniture was great, and the accommodations were excellent. Loved the kitchen and the large televisions! We’d highly recommend it

House was just as described. 5 BR, 2 BA with nice open kitchen/dining/living space. Private back yard/ deck. This was perfect for our yearly family retreat. Nice mid-location to parks/lake superior/Marquette/Munising. Clean and comfortable.

Beautiful house, close to everything. Spacious with all the needed amenities that we need. It’s nice because it’s pet friendly . We had one small issue with the sink in one of the bathroom and the owner had it fixed the same day I called. Will stay again and recommend to our friends.

The property was spacious and well suited for a large group or family. Since there were only four of us there was room to spare. Conveniently located to grocery store, Lake Superior and restaurants. Overall a nice stay.

House was as described, clean, spacious and close to everything we wanted to do. Only issue was lower level plumbing was not the best. Other than that house was nice size for 11 people.

My family and I went to Michigan for the weekend because we wanted to visit Pictured Rocks Lakeshore. The house was only about 15 minutes away from Munising, MI. Da big house was very spacious and clean.

The house was lovely and exactly as described in a great location. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 teens and were able to easily get anywhere we wanted to visit. Would definitely rent again if we return to the area.
