Beautiful cottage so close to the ocean you can hear the sea lions on the wharf! Gorgeous landscaping that brought in the hummingbirds. The home was well equipped with very nice kitchen, soap and linen choices. We walked the ocean edge path and also to breakfast and dinner often. Santa Cruz is a great place for day trips from redwoods to beaches and sea towns. Our host was very friendly and responsive.

This may be the the best location for a visit in coastal California. West Cliff’s walking path is steps away, Natural Bridges State park and it’s small cafe is the perfect compliment to the beach scene. The cottage was an iconic Victorian, something that represent the charm of Santa Cruz. It had everything needed for our weekend stay. Plus, it was private and quiet with it tucked away on an enormous property. We have already recommended it to friends and family.

Because of the amazing location we were able to walk to the beach and boardwalk avoiding driving with the traffic! The house was the perfect size for just the two of us would defiantly be coming back! The host was amazing!

After spending 5 nights in this delightful cottage, we cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we are in Santa Cruz. The location is fantastic. The host is beyond first rate and the cottage is better stocked than any of the many places we have stayed. Cozy, comfortable with a great bathroom! Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Such a great find! Everything was wonderful; too many pluses to enumerate. If I was forced to share anything negative, it would be that the cottage is so well equipped that there is no storage should you find yourself staying for more than just a couple of nights. You can see that's someone truly reaching to have to find anything negative to share about this wonderful place and the owner who take amazing care of her guests. Tip is to simply bring less stuff as it's already there for you.

Highly recommended. Fabulous location on top of a popular cliff overlooking Pacific. The grounds of 136 year historical mansion contain a magnificent araucaria tree – probably tallest than most redwoods in the county. We stayed five days with a lap-dog and a cat. The cottage is a pure perfection – all amenities of highest quality and done with love and high taste. Khristina is incredible host, very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. She is also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was extremely helpful. Thank you Khristina for sharing your lovely place with us. We are looking forward to being back soon.

We absolutely loved staying on the Westside here! It's an easy walk down the hill to the Boardwalk, only slightly longer to all the restaurants and shops downtown, and if you prefer just to walk along the bay away from the crowds the east cliff walkway is at your doorstep. Yet the property was extremely quiet and everything was top notch. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful wonderful cottage! Christina was so helpful and knowledgeable about Santa cruz! The location is beautiful and close to everything but yet far enough that it's quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again if I go to Santa Cruz!

I discovered a mold situation which bothered my sinuses so I had to leave early. The host was very responsive.

I enjoyed my stay along with my 2 doggies. It was great for walking along West Cliff Dr. with the beautiful ocean views. The decor and amenities were all top notch and lovely. Khristina was a wonderful host and thought of every detail to make you feel right at home.

Cottage was open for us early. It was well appointed, everything as advertised. We met our host later in our stay. Kristina was very friendly and concerned for our comfort and satification. Great location!

We could hear the ocean and the seals barking. We walked to the beach to watch the sunset, and to the boardwalk for dinner. Lovely cottage, beautiful area. The host was great. Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised at this well equipped, cozy sweet cottage in an awsome neighborhood. Daily walks on West Cliff with our pup. Fun restaurants and shopping close by. We are on a road trip and we called this our Happy Cottage. Will return🥰

Being at a cozy cottage, just steps from the beach and boardwalk was a chance to enjoy the sun and fun as well as have a quiet and peaceful private cottage to relax and rest to get ready for the next day.

The property is charmingly lovely and perfect for 2 with a dog. Khristina is an excellent communicator and emits positive energy, so having her as a host was a blessing. For a two night stay, we were on the go (walking along the scenic coast to the West Cliff outdoor market, biking to Natural Bridges Beach, spending time at Cowell Beach, downtown, the pier and boardwalk). We used the parking spot, but also had no problem finding parking on the street in front of the property. When it got warm, we used the fans and the umbrella in the fenced patio area to stay cool. There are no screens on the windows, but luckily no mosquitoes or flies got in when we cracked them open for a sea breeze. The patio is a great spot to park the stroller, bikes, and to eat/drink al fresco at the patio seating area. It was nice to sit out there; you can hear the seals under the pier in the morning. The couch and bed were comfortable. The community is nice and welcoming-I truly felt blissful with that Santa Cruz vibe. My cousins, niece, and nephews visited briefly and had great memories made.

Talk about a dream spot for a stay in Santa Cruz!!!! This place is adorable and I would definitely stay there again! What’s more? The description is entirely accurate and to top it all off the host is so down to earth! 5 stars all the way around!!!

Khristina is a very communicative and gracious host. The little cottage was the perfect location for attending a wedding at the nearby Dream Inn.

Met with a friend of 40 years to relax for a few days. Wonderful location and great for pets. The fenced yard was nice and gave added privacy but could get quite warm as there is no shade. The cottage was well stocked with all the necessities and very quiet. The free standing tub and shower was cute but a little challenging for “ seniors”. All in all it was a great experience.

Lovely little cottage. Definitely only room for 1 person or a couple. Place was very clean upon arrival. We appreciated having coffee there for the next morning. Location was perfect for us - we could walk downtown, along West Cliff Drive or just in the surrounding neighborhood. Host was out of town when we arrived but made sure there was someone available if we needed (which we didn't).

We "worked from home" from the cottage for a week. The house was wonderful. It had everything we needed (including strong enough wi-fi for both of us to use Zoom at the same time). Such a cute neighborhood. We brought our dog with us, and he really enjoyed the trips to Lighthouse Beach.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! Khristina was so kind and accommodating, we felt welcomed and right at home. Loved the location and activities close by too. We'll definitely be back, thank you!

This was honestly more than I had hoped for. Location was amazing but the host had thought of every possible detail or amenities, including special treats for my pup and a list of dog friendly places. I don’t think there was anything they did not think of! It was so incredibly welcoming! I have already booked my next 3 month stay there!

This is our second stay in this sweet, cottage by West Cliff Rd and Monterrey Bay. It has everything you need in a one bedroom place; we really appreciate the separate bedroom with door so the one who wakes early can putter in the kitchen/living room without waking the other of us. We also appreciate having several coffee shops/restaurants in easy walking distance. Coffee on the outside patio in the morning and a walk along the bay in the evening are great ways to start and end the day. It is well outfitted, very clean, very easy to communicate with thenowner/manager- all is good!

This was an excellent place to stay - private and quiet off the busy street yet SO close to the cliffs and the ocean - just across the street. It is within walking distance to the beaches and restaurants. The house has everything you need and so comfortable and clean. Our hostess checked in on us too. Can't wait to return !

The cottage is well located in a very nice neighborhood, 2 steps from the ocean. Beautifully decorated and very practical. We are worldwide travelers and found that Khristina is our #1, best and outstanding host. She lives in the house next-door and responds immediately if you have the slightest problem. She thought about every single detail that makes your stay comfortable. Nothing was missing in the kitchen and overall in the house. We had the best time in Santa Cruz and fell immediately at home. We will certainly come back!
