It was great! Easy check in and great service! We left our laptop and the owner reached out to us the same day to let us know it was found. Very accomodating.

Walkable and quiet neighborhood

Not worth the fee very old furnishings and so small couldn’t hardly get to the furniture

Nice cozy room in an older home, converted into a small VRBO. Nice and clean, if a bit tight. The bathroom shower is as small as the jacuzzi tub is large. No Kleenex provided, and the toilet paper roll is difficult to reach, but otherwise fine. Parking is in an alley behind the house, but that's fine as downtown parking during the day is hard to find. The house is within a couple of blocks walking distance from all Bayfield has to offer, which is plenty.

Historic house (the portrait of the couple in the hallway lived there and their grandson and great grand daughter stopped by) remade into rental units. Ours (Northland) wasn't spacious but was still functional--nice quarters and bath. The front porch was great for enjoying lunch or morning coffee. (I hope they appreciate that I weeded the front garden for them!)It is only 1/2 block off the main drag, so great for walking everywhere, and the parking was a breeze. Only snafu was that the instructions specified that we would be emailed the code for the front door and we had to call to get the information because the email hadn't been sent. That said, they answered the phone right away when called and gave us directions, in addition to sending the email.

The check in and out process was super easy. Accomodations were clean and cozy. Loved the jacuzzi tub!

The room was just perfect for basically just sleeping and getting ready. It is very close to all the attractions so no need to drive around after getting there. The house is an old house but the room is pretty updated and the bed was very comfy! Would not hesitate to stay again! Bayfield never disappoints.

Everything was great minus the fact that the listing was one singular room with an attached bathroom. House is shared with several others.

Wonderful location and within walking distance of everything in Bayfield. Only suggestions was to leave more towels and washcloths. We only had 2 which was not enough for 5 days.

Easy walk to restaurants and lake

The room was clean and comfortable. Very close to the marina and downtown restaurants and stores. Check-in and out was easy. The host was very responsive when I ran out of kleenex and asked for another box. It showed up quickly. I stayed for one week. If I were to stay that long again, I would opt for a room with a kitchenette (my fault). The refrigerator is very small for a stay that long. It should be noted that the coffee maker is a hotel-style that requires pre-packaged coffee pouches instead of being able to brew your own. The TV is nice and you can easily sign into Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, but there are no local channels. Air conditioning works well. Large bathroom with soft towels.

It is situated in a quiet neighborhood and yet is only steps away from all of the shops, restaurants and venues that Bayfield has to offer. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were very luxurious. We were able to log in to the T.V. with our FUBO account easily. The mini fridge is just right for a few groceries, etc. The coffee maker was adequate for our morning coffee. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I had an amazing time in Bayfield and this place was the perfect place to hang out hat each night. Very clean and comfortable.

There was an issue with city sewer system which affected the use of the rooms bathroom at first but the property manager got on it lightning fast and communicated everything that was going on very well. These things happen anywhere. All that matters is how the property manager handles it, and the management at Ships Quarters is second to none.

The room was Clean, the bed was very comfortable. We stayed 2 night. Our only issue was not enough towels and wash cloths for 2 adults to stay 2 night.

Nice and clean. So close to everything, we could park the car and bike everywhere. Perfect little get away.

This property is perfectly situated close to town. We could easily walk to the lake and any place we wanted to eat. The room itself was cute, and the jacuzzi tub was as perfectly situated so you can watch a movie and take a bath at the same time. :-) One caveat - the bed slopes downward so that your head is down slope when you lie down. I recommend putting the pillows at the other end.

Very easy to get around. Room was clean. Missed not having coffee in the morning as it wasn't supplied. We loved the jacuzzi until the vent above the toilet kept leaking! The water went directly into the toilet so got a little rain shower and was pouring in on Sunday morning enough to wake us up and a bit of a mess but we cleaned it up. Needs to be fixed. It only happened when people were showering in the upstairs apartment.

The place was easy to find, even though it was dark already. Parking was a non-issue, however, if we had needed to use the back lot we didn’t have a way to print the pass needed to ID that we were staying there. Loved, loved, loved the location. One day we didn’t drive at all because everything is right in the neighborhood. The room and bathroom seemed recently renovated, though a little awkward in shape. The one thing that bothered my senses a bit was when we initially walked in through the front door it smelled like my great grandmother’s house used to smell: like mothballs. There were air freshener’s in a few places in the hall but I don’t know if they helped much. The room had a hint of that odor as well, which bothered me the first night, but after that I hardly noticed it. Overall I would stay there again. The reservation, payment, and check-in process were all a breeze. Great communication. We just love Bayfield. Thanks for the memories!
