Loved the location right on the water. Didn't realize the parking was limited. Was a problem for older visitors.

This house is such a gem! It’s clean, spacious, warm, and is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends. There was more than enough room for our family of 8 and the space would easily accommodate more. The first floor bedroom and bathroom were great for my parents. My mom was recovering from an ankle condition so not having to go up and down the stairs was perfect. The deck is amazing! We enjoyed morning coffee with sweeping views, afternoon snacks soaking up the sun, and dinners, drinks, and tea just enjoying the lake. Such a great place to gather. There were tons of board games and beach toys, perfect for our kiddos. We even met Sean from Sean Watch who was very kind and reminded us to feel free to pick the cherry tomatoes growing on the side of the house. This was our 2nd year vacationing at Mitiwanga, our first staying here and we’re already planning our trip to stay again in 2023. Be sure to stop by the local farm stand for amazing peaches and fresh picked corn and veggies!

Our family has stayed in different rentals within mitiwanga for the last 35 years and this house has been by far the best! Spectacular views no matter where you were on the property. Place was clean and accommodating … we give it 5 stars! Patty B

House is amazing and a great location to activities like CedarPoint BUT the 180 degree view of Lake Eerie from your own deck captivated us for the full week! We may have to go back just for the views!! Don’t miss this house!

Our group of life-long friends had a terrific trip and stay at the property. The weather worked in our favor so we took advantage of the outside deck space and spent the majority of our time enjoying the lakefront views and fabulous sunsets. The house itself was well stocked, especially the kitchen which had all the necessities for making some great meals. Overall, we could not have asked for a better place for our group of friends. We look forward to hopefully renting again next year!

This was a wonderful house for our extended family of 11. Beach toys and chairs were a plus and the private beach was great. We used the community tennis courts and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Vermilion was a cute city to visit and eat in. We truly enjoyed our stay and will probably go again.

Beautiful house!!!!! Well supplied and comfortable except for the mattresses. We loved the coffee mugs. Please be careful, these are valuable. The view is the best on lake front!!!! We had several bald eagles making visits. One eagle landed in the tree outside the near window. What a treat!!!! We also enjoyed watching all the ducks. We would love coming back in the summer to experience a whole different environment.

The property has a beautiful location right on the water. Plenty of space. The kitchen was very well equipped. A comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful lake house. Everything was perfect, very comfortable house with amazing views. Can’t recommend it enough, we will def be back!

We stayed here for four days. It worked perfectly for our family of 7. One person in a wheelchair. Very open for him to maneuver. Lots of room for sleeping and privacy. Great views of lake from deck. Steep hill to walk down to get to beach but once there, very good beach glass hunting. Very easy communication with owner. She was very willing to answer any questions. We would recommend this house

The location was superlative and just about everything else was great as well. Kitchen well equipped, nice gas grill, outside dining table, chairs on the porch - we lacked for nothing. Thanks for sharing your house.

Jennifer's property is outstanding in terms of location, amenities, water and sunset views, square footage, and access to the beach. It was very clean and equipped with everything we might need, down to batteries and beach chairs. We had three generations - so "space" was a consideration and this house has it -- plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor places to eat, read, view the kids on the beach, enjoy coffee in the morning, or BBQ. Three of five bedrooms had balconies with lake views, and the large deck overlooking the beach and lake is ideal for relaxing, sunset-gazing and or sharing outdoor dinner. Our adult kids enjoyed the Tiki Bar two blocks away on the Lake Road. Side trips to Put in Bay, Paper Moon winery and downtown Vermillion were easy. We're not ready for Cedar Point quite yet. We appreciated access to a tidy garage, parking for two additional vehicles, and toys and videos for the kids. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Even some wine and champagne in the wine cooler! This home was a great backdrop for our family getaway! We had our daughters, their husbands and 5 young grandchildren. The views were wonderful, gorgeous sunsets and weather did not disappoint. The home is well equipped right down to beach toys for the kids. The bedrooms were comfy (and beachy). The double beds were a bit of a challenge since our guys are pretty tall, and we’re all used to king beds, but we had enough beds to make it work. We have been to Mitiwanga many times and always wanted to take our kids/grandkids. It was such a nice weekend!

VRBO experience is easy

My friends and I had a friend reunion/bachelorette party here. We are pretty chill people so we just wanted a nice view, calm evenings. We literally played board games on the porch and drank and had no issues at all. Jennifer was SO helpful as I have never done this (renting a house) before! We 100% will stay here again! It’s beautiful and the view is even better!!

From the moment you step in the door, you feel stress-free and right at home. The views of Lake Erie are outstanding from almost every room in the house. The home is filled with local history which added to the welcoming charm. Our entire family-three generations-enjoyed all the place had to offer —the beach, birdwatching, bike riding and corn hole tournaments to name just a few. Happy to highly recommend this location!

I have never been so pleasantly surprised to see the property actually look better than the photos! And there don’t seem to be photos of all the bedrooms so very pleased with these sight unseen accommodations. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed, had fun playing cornhole, and spent too many hours combing through shells and rocks for sea glass. Extra fridge in garage was a plus. And the large lawn, expansive deck space, and sunsets were icing on the cake!

As beautiful as the house and setting look in the pictures, they do not do justice! The lake setting literally had us awestruck when we first arrived. The house is decorated like a whimsical beach house, with beautiful, tasteful furnishings. The host was incredibly available, helpful and accommodating.

This is a great family friendly home that provided a wonderful visit for parents to visit with us and our kids as we were passing through Ohio for a few days. Even for a little chillier fall October, the kids loved wading in the water finding countless sea glass. Many thanks to Jennifer and her family for keeping such a wonderful property and making it accessible to us.

Her property provided us with breathtaking views of the lake and a wonderfully relaxing place to reconnect and make new memories. In addition, there were sliding glass doors in every bedroom and two on the first floor that provided all of us with the lulling sound of the waves.
