Host was amazing! She helped us with everything we needed. Starting from the moment we contacted her. One of the best hosts we had and we travel a lot as family. We had late night flight and we could stay in the apartment as long as we needed without paying for late check out. Location was perfect it is in the hear of Lisbon and most of the things to see are in walking distance. Apartment is not big but enough for 4 of us. Market is close so you can fill your fridge pretty easy. If you travel as 3 or 4 I suggest taking Taxi because it is pretty cheep. 15-20 euros from airport to center or center to Belem tower for 8 euros.

There is absolutely nothing we didn`t like.

Die schöne, kleine Wohnung lag optimal in der Altstadt. Die Gasse war ruhig, kein Autoverkehr, keine Bahn, keine Lokale, alles sehr ruhig. Dennoch waren wir in 5 Minuten beim herrlichen Aussichtspunkt auf den Tejo und bei den Lokalen. Das Haus war auch sehr ruhig. Wir haben alles sauber vorgefunden und jede von uns hatte einen eigenen Schlafbereich für sich. Die Verdunkelung in dem einen Zimmer konnte sogar mit einem elektrischen Rollladen erfolgen. Das Bad war klein, aber mit guter Dusche. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man zum Essen und Kochen braucht. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sogar 2 Flaschen Wasser und 1 Flasche Rotwein kostenfrei hingestellt. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin im Vorfeld verlief ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir wussten genau, wie wir an den Schlüssel kommen und wie wir anreisen konnten. Handtücher und Bettwäschen waren sehr ordentlich. Die Matratzen sehr gut. Wir konnten beide jeweils gut schlafen. Auch eine Waschmaschine stand zur Verfügung, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Wir würden wiederkommen, wenn wir nochmal nach Lissabon reisen.

Loved the location! Near cafes with views, lots of restaurants and bars. Easy to walk everywhere. Though close to everything, our street was quiet. We also liked the ability to do laundry.

I can truly recommend this place. Marisa is great host and very easy to communicate, she responds fast. Great location, just couple minutes of walk from square of Luis Camoes, walking distance to all attractions. If someone decides to use public transportation tram/bus/metro near accommodation. Very easy to pick up key (key box). It has all needed amenities with fully equipped kitchen.

One small thing - drain under shower could work faster, but not big deal.

If you are looking for a luxury stay, go and look somewhere else. Be aware that this is a very basic place. If the most important thing for you is to access touristic places easily and not to pay excessive amounts, look no more. This place has a very central location, 2 minutes from Adamastor viewpoint, 5 minutes from Manteigaria (arguably the best nata place), 10 minutes from Time Out market, 15 minutes from other very central places and this is all by foot. You don't have to take tram, bus, taxi for the majority of the sightseeing. When we wanted to visit further places (Belem Tower, Alvito Recreational Park, Zoo etc) we took Uber and everywhere was around 5-6 Euros. The place was clean when we checked in. Check-in process is smooth, there is a lock box outside the building and they send you the passcode before you arrive. You check-in yourself without any hassle. When you leave, you just leave the keys there again. Kitchen is full of equipments: microwave, kettle, stove, washing machine, etc. We stayed here with 2 kids (aged 6 and 2) and the most important thing for us was to be able to return home whenever we want easily and this flat satisfied us. There is a superfast and reliable internet connection, it was around 250mbps when I checked it. We were leaving the flat in the morning and returning around 7-8pm and going to sleep within 2 hours. So, we did not hang out in the flat a lot. If you are planning to do the same, then this place is a good choice. If you are planning to spend long hours in the flat, I would not recommend it.

As I've said in the pros section, this is a basic apartment. If you cannot sleep unless the bed is very comfy, this place is not for you. If you cannot sleep if there is noise outside, this place is not for you. There is no insulation at all. Every morning, around 8am you will hear the garbage trucks moving around. The wooden floors are also making a lot of noise. I am sure the ones who were staying downstairs suffered from my kids running in the hallway. Every time you take a step, the wooden floor squeaks. Of course you hear the ones living upstairs whenever they move around. Again, if you are noise sensitive, do not stay here. If this is not a big issue for you, then consider the rest. I think the bathroom needs some improvement, it is not comfortable to take shower since the drain is clogged. There was hand soap and a cheap type shower gel, but no shampoo. I would appreciate a better quality shampoo, soap, and shower gel. Leaving two-three small bottles of shampoo would not cost a lot I suppose. For the price I paid, I did not have very high expectations and this place satisfied all my needs. If you are looking for a Hilton comfort, go and book a room in Hilton. However, if you don't care if the place is modern or not, then there is not much to complain about this place given its price.

Spacious apartment in a nice and central area. Great with a kitchen, so we could cook. Key in key box very convenient, so nobody was on a fixed time schedule (neither host nor us). Loved having a washing machine, very convenient when travelling for a longer period of time.

Thought that the furniture looked a little dated, maybe it was just not our taste. Stairs to the apartment are very narrow and steep, not a problem for us, but maybe for other people? Neighbor on the other side of the street is often out on her balcony and stares into the apartment, not a problem if you close the curtains of the one window :-). On the positive side: if anything criminal should happen in the apartment or a fire would break out, this lady would definitely see it!
