We had 3 families stay for MDW (15 total)...we all agreed the first floor layout was awesome. The pool table is on the main floor so we basically hung out together the whole time. Kitchen table fit us all and made for some great games (2 roll Yahtzee!) with everyone. Short walk to beach. Owner was very responsive. There's additional space and bedrooms down the basement so ask owner if you need more space! We didn't but if a 4th family came it would have been needed. Loved the screened-in porch and EagleRock golf. Course is in great shape.

The house is beautiful and spacious and easily fit our family and friends (10 total people). We had 4 adults and 6 kids. The kids loved that there were tvs in every room and they played ping pong for hours. We are definitely interested in renting this property again.

We have several families and need a big house such as this one. The house is spacious and also fully equipped, you will find whatever you need. The house owner Karl is also amazing with quick responses and follow up. You would not find a more responsible owner like him to take care of the guests stay as him. Highly recommended especially you have a big group!

We loved staying at this house at Eagle Rock! It was great for our large group with a wide open layout that allowed everyone to be together! Kitchen was well stocked which made meal prep easy. We were super close to the mountain for skiing & tubing with the kids! We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful family reunion again at this lovely, spacious home in Eagle Rock. Everything we needed for six of the family branches to come together and celebrate was provided and this year the 7 school aged children discovered the Equestrian Center and went for their first trail walk -- very mellow horses (and guides!) and very affordable as well. Cozy fireplace, great game room and plenty of room for both pictionary and ping pong tournaments. We had a great stay!

My family and I rented this house for the weekend of December 13, 2013 and we had a wonderful experience. The house was easy to find and looked just like it did in the photos. It was very simply and tastefully decorated but yet was still warm and inviting (which is something usually hard to achieve with big houses). Most importantly, it was clean and neat. I went with my husband, kids and in-laws so we had a range of ages staying at the house - from seniors to a four year old and it was perfect for us all. There was a bedroom and full bath on the main floor which was greatly appreciated by my father in law who cannot manage stairs very well and four bedrooms upstairs with lots of sleeping space. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and enjoyed having their own space which they dubbed "the cousins' club". I was particularly impressed with the kitchen. We have rented homes several times in the past and usually, there aren't enough pots and pans (we like to cook when we're away) or sufficient cooking utensils provided but this place had it all. There were also TVs in all bedrooms as well as one in the living room (over the wood-burning fireplace). Wifi was available all throughout the house and I also had no problem with cell phone reception (this has been an issue in other areas within Eagle Rock). There is a nice and helpful young man from next door who acts as a caretaker of sorts who you can run to for assistance (there was a snow storm that weekend and the wifi router needed resetting) and also, the property owner, Karl, was very responsive and extremely pleasant to deal with from the very beginning and all throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying at this home especially if you're a big group. We'll definitely stay here again in the future!

This is a very spacious and comfortable house for a large group/family reunion. Big kitchen, lots of lounging space, TVs in most rooms, pool/pingpong table, plenty of play space downstairs for the kids, board games in the closet. The house is also very clean and well-maintained, and there is ample dining space, so that everyone can eat sitting down at the same time (something other multi-bedroom houses lack). The lakefront beach is very close, and the golf course is deluxe. We had a deer approach for a handout at breakfast, and saw some wild turkeys too! We went on a guided horseback ride in the resort, and had some nice day hikes at nearby Nescopeck Park. Karl was a gracious host.

My family and I had the pleasure of vacationing at this property in the Eagle Rock Colonial Resort this summer. It was a wonderful and memorable week for the entire family. The grounds of the resort are beautifully maintained and we were able to take advantage of many of the activities offered at the resort. We swam at the beach and in the pools, used the boats, played tennis and golf and visited the horses in the equestrian centre! The resort is within driving distance of Hershey PA, so we took the kids for a tour of the Hershey Chocolate factory - I am sure they will remember this for the rest of their life. The house itself is spacious and well maintained. You will find the home beautifully decorated - just as pictured. We enjoyed gathering in the family area to play billiards and watch movies. There is a beautiful screened in deck at the back that allows you to enjoy the outdoors while eating or just relaxing. The feature that I found most impressive was the friendly deer that roam the resort. I have never seen a place where these beautiful creatures allow you to interact so closely with them. The owner of the house Karl is a super guy - very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend this vacation home for any family or extended family. It is a real gem!!

We rented this house for an annual reunion getaway. This family friendly home was clean, comfy, and had all of the amenities you need! The open floor plan, well equipped kitchen, pool table, and ping pong table are a plus. It comfortably accommodated our group and has plenty of space. The lake and beach area with a playground is just a short walk from the house. The golf course at the resort was fantastic! The women in our group loved the spa! Karl, the owner, could not have been more helpful and eager to make sure our group had everything we needed. We enjoyed staying here so much we have already decided we can’t wait to return next year!

Recently me and seven of my girlfriends from college stayed here for a weekend. We were amazed at how beautiful the house was. Upon driving to the house there was a beautiful lake that we were determined to find- turns out it was right around the corner! We spent all day at the beach at the lake where there were barbeques and a great family atmosphere. We loved the back patio and it had enough room for us all to sit.The resort is beautiful and has tons of things to do! We even talked about coming back in the winter for skiing and snow tubing. We would definitely come back and even for other occasions such as family reunions/getaways.

Can't say enough about our vacation in this beautiful home. It was our first time renting through VRBO and we were a bit nervous but there was no need to be. The owner clearly takes pride in this home and has thought of everything you might need. He was always there to answer our questions and called us after we checked in to make sure everything was going well. We had a children ranging from 3 to 15 years old in our group. There was plenty to do for all ages and the house was very safe for kids. On sunny days we enjoyed the beautiful lake (within very easy walking distance), horseback riding and pools (a short drive). The kids especially enjoyed the boats that are available for those staying at Eagle Rock. In the evening we made good use out of the pool table, fire pit and enclosed deck. We also tried out the spa facilities which was a nice treat. The house was immaculate when we checked in and we really appreciated the HEPA filtration system which was very important for our son who suffers from asthma. The updated kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare all of our meals for our large group without any issues. I would highly recommend this property for large families looking to relax and enjoy some time together. We can't wait to go back in the winter to try out the skiing and snow tubing!

Our family of 10 had a fantastic time here. Large home and wonderful enclosed porch to either sit on or eat some meals while watching the deer. Having the beach with boats and playground close by was perfect for the younger ones. The teens enjoyed the ping pong, pool and boats. We would seriously think about renting here again next year. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The Old forge pizza in the restaurant wa so ooooo good. Enjoyed a day at Knoebles and Heislers for mini golf. Thanks for a great memory...

I stayed at this location from March 29th until April 2nd. The house and location are excellent. There is tons of stuff to do..hiking, biking, camping, bbq b the lake, recreation center, scenic views at the lodge,spa, gym..etc. or you can just relax and do nothing at all. The house is beautiful, modern, clean, and spacious. I highly recommend this house and location. It is the perfect getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this property and found it convenient to all Eagle Rock attractions. We got lucky with snowy weather all weekend long for our group to go tubing, skiing and snowboarding. The fireplace was a nice touch, along with all the wildlife we got to see out the back windows of the house. The owners were extremely accommodating and very friendly; wanting to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We used the pool table a lot for family tournaments and the big dining table was great for games and seating a large crew for breakfast. The screened in porch was a nice touch as well, but we didn't get to enjoy that with the frigid winter temperatures. We'll have to go back in the summer to enjoy the lake, the porch and the bonfire pit set up in the backyard. Smores, hot dogs and margaritas next time! Great rental for big groups - Enjoy!

Great weekend, Great home, Great time. We had family and friends all with children who completely enjoyed themselves in this home. The house is very large,spacious and clean. Between the ping pong, pool table, big TV and the board games all the kids had something to do while the adults enjoyed their time in the large kitchen area.Eagle Rock Resort is perfect for our family and hopefully next year we will be skiing, tubing and snowboarding with lots of snow instead of wearing shortsleeve shirts on the mountain! A little warm,wet weather didn't stop this group from doing all of the above. Thanks again for allowing us to use your home and if all of our schedules work out we will absolutely be back same time,same place next year. P.S. I am still looking for the turkeys.

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home in a parklike setting. We had a three generation family weekend with folks coming from NJ, Brooklyn, Central & Western NY, VT and MD to gather for food, fun and great outdoor time. (loved the nearby beach & playground and definitely recommend nearby Lehigh Gorge State Park w/trails along beautiful waterfalls) The open floor plan made it possible for us to have large family events: ping pong tournaments, large pictionary teams and even a cello-clarinet-French horn concert. It was a most enjoyable stay.

The house was great, comfortable and modern. We had a delicious dinner at the resort and had massages at the resort's spa. It was a wonderful tip. I would reccommend this rental to anyone looking for a romantic time away or a large group.

I have stayed at many VRBO rentals over the past fifteen years. This property was by far the nicest of all. The house is very spacious and very well maintained and, in fact, is the first which I did not have to reclean upon arrival. The resort has a lot of outdoor activities suitable for all ages. Every query I made was answered promptly and to my satisfaction.

Our group had rented this beautiful home for the New Years Eve Wknd. It was more than just accomidating I made us feel like we were home. The house has a great layout if you plan on renting with kids. It seperates the bedrooms from the lounging area. The house was fully equiped with everything that we needed. Id be more than happy to come back anytime. Overall a great area wonderfull neighbors. I just hope that people renting this home dont take advantage of it beasuse it truly is a beauty.

Being Scottish ,when we visit New York and visit all the well known sites in abundance. The city of Manhattan is exciting,but when we discovered the wonderful holidays at Long Island,The Hamptons and the Jersey shore we started to find out more about local New york vacational areas, The beach life was great with very beautiful coastlines,but we wanted to see the rustic woodlands and historian areas. We checked out this beautiful home in the town of Hazeltown,the rich woodland ,the smell of the trees was wonderful,my wee boy loved to see the woodland animals visting nearby in the early hours. It was magical to see the deer being so close to the house. The amenities on site were good ,the lake nearby was good to have a picnics for the family and the nearby owners were very helpful in our holiday plans. Shopping outlets.casino and racing nearby,golfing on site were good value and enjoyable. The winter facilities must be great for families and friends having an adventure. Relaxing with a good book,exercising with long walks gave a great choice to different ages. I have to investigate more on this type of fanily retreat,I will be returning to Eagle Rock because I have,nt experienced all it,s facilites and surrounding areas. Internally the accomodation was very good with large spacious rooms,the kitchen was a warm haven for my family. The clean relaxing furnishing and modern fixtures gave the family a home from home feel We cant wait to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this lovely mountain getaway. The resort Eagle Rock had golfing, swimming a beautiful lake within walking distance, even paddle boats to take a ride on the lake. The house itself was beautiful,modern and spacious. I think the next time we stay here maybe we will try the winter and do a little skiiing right there. i would highly recommmend this as a fabulous place for family fun!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this lovely modern home. It had all the latest amenties including cable TV, Jacuzzi in master bath faboulous babecue with screened in porch. And it was large enough that both my family and my sisters family stayed for a week without feeling cramped. The location near the lake and not far from the pool and recreation center was ideal for the kids while my husband got in a few rounds of golf at the challenging Eagle rock course. We defintely plan on returning next year!
