Our time at Marazul Dive Resort and Greg and Susan's home was beyond our hopes. The home was clean and stocked with everything we could need for our one month visit. The home was a great base for visiting the beautiful beaches and trips to Westount. We slept great while listening to the tradewinds blowing outside. Greg and Susan were so good at communicating and we never waited long for a response. Upon booking the home we were sent a complete info guide onanything we needed at Marazul and the island. If you are considering renting this home, consider no longer and just book it. You will be so glad you did.

The property was just as expected with the kitchen fully stocked with more than enough dishes, pots, pans, utensils and the cupboards were clearly marked with their contents saving us the hassle of guessing where everything was. The bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces were comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool was just steps away and the two balconies had table and chairs. The owners provided a wealth of information regarding the island with recommendations on restaurants, things to do and places to grocery shop. Communications were excellent and we would stay here again. Overall, an enjoyable carefree stay in nice accommodations

Lovely condo with easy access to pool and steps directly down to snorkel/dive onsite. Laid back location with a dive shop a few minutes away and several restaurants to try. Only recommendation would be some couch repairs/replacement, each have damaged legs/unstable, but were good enough for us as we were only inside a short time.

The property was everything we expected and more! Everyone on the property was super friendly and helpful. If you like a more quiet, relaxed vibe, this is the place for you. Great diving and snorkeling. A swim with the sea turtles will surely fill your soul. My family will have so many wonderful memories!

We stayed in Bungalow 3 for three weeks in March. Communicating with Greg and Susan during the booking process and during our stay was a real pleasure. They were friendly and quick to respond to questions and provided interesting reading material about the island and clear directions for their home and the check in process. The bungalow was spacious with comfortable furniture and we felt right at home. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and serving. I really love having a crock pot to use while on vacation so was pleased to find one in the kitchen. We have stayed at Marazul before and we know that hot water is not available in every unit but hot water to do dishes is especially important to us. This unit has hot water in the kitchen and showers. We also found the use of a washing machine in the unit very convenient. The beds were comfy and we loved having our breakfast every morning on the spacious upper terrace. There is a nice large dining table on the upper terrace. We also enjoyed playing cards there in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay in Greg and Susan's bungalow; unfortunately as with many other travelers during this time period COVID-19 shortened our stay but we wouldn't hesitate to book this unit again. Additionally, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this unit to other travelers looking for a spacious rental close to the pool and the dive rinse tank!

Our Bungalow was very clean, well equipped and located right by the pool. Snorkeling from the cliff at the resort was magical and just steps away. The pool area was clean and we were lucky to have mostly older guests, so it was quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed it so much we have made reservations for 2021.

Bungalow had *everything* we needed. Communication with Greg was excellent, and location was just right for those not wanting the "resort experience". We wish we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to a return visit. The only slight hiccup was that we didn't realize there were THREE different locations to find the key after hours. Rene was very helpful in getting us in. Then we were great.

It felt so comfortable, very well furnished. We liked the fully equipped kitchen and all the extra's like books, games, swimming ad pool gear. Its location right by the pool was a big plus, we could keep an eye on our son right from the balcony or upstairs patio.

My husband and I, along with 2 friends, just ended a week long stay in Greg and Susan’s lovely home in Marazul. For my husband and I this was our 4th time at Marazul, though the first in a 3 bedroom unit, and we were very happy with the accommodation. The unit is beautifully situated by the pool and is extremely well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking when we ate in, and there are a few good restaurants not too far away. I don’t think we wanted for anything. It was fantastic having the space to spread out and we very much enjoyed the large upper deck in the late afternoons and evenings, and the patio for breakfast each day. Marazul continues to be beautifully maintained - the grounds are beautiful, and we love the quietness of this end of the island while still enjoying the easy proximity to a number of good snorkel beaches. And, of course, snorkeling right from the bottom of the steps at Marazul. Lastly, it was a pleasure dealing with Greg and Susan. From our very first inquiry, they were always very prompt with their replies and provided much excellent information on the property and the island. We would definitely recommend, and hope to return to their island home again in the future.

From booking to returning home our hosts Greg and Susan were wonderful and spot on with all recommendations, I wouldn't change a thing. The snorkeling on the west end of the Island was the best I have every seen. Swimming with the turtles amazing. I would re emphasize the need for getting groceries prior to leaving the airport area because the closest "market" is 15" away and it doesn't have the variety as the Centrum Market. My family of 4 had a great (7 night) stay in this rental. Everything was exactly as advertised in the listing. The owner sent thorough check-in instructions and helpful information about the island before our stay. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We had more than enough room in this unit and it's location next to the pool was perfect for us. The pool closes at 9pm and the community is nice and quiet, so the location was perfect. The refrigerator is full size, even though it might look a bit smaller in the photos. Note, we kept all of our food in the fridge during our stay due to the tiny ants that live in all tropical places. The unit was sparkling clean when we checked in and the ants have nothing to do with the unit. We learned this trick on a different trip to the Caribbean. The freezer was conveniently full of ice cube trays and a nice bin to keep a stash of ice. The freezer also worked very well - we froze bottles of water every night so we could take cold water with us on our adventures the following day. We also made use of the cooler and washing machine. There are lots of hooks and a large drying rack on the balcony that we used to dry our wet clothes and bathing suits. The bedroom air conditioners worked very well. We only used them at night and were careful to turn off the lights etc. when we left the unit. The bedrooms all stayed nice and cool during the night. The kitchen was very well stocked. We especially appreciated the abundance of containers with lids and all of the cutting boards. These little touches made the kitchen very functional. I would recommend future Curacao travelers take plenty of bug spray. The screened/louvered windows in the unit kept out all of the bugs, but we did need some bug spray on our adventures and at some restaurants. We had a great vacation and we are very glad we chose to stay in this rental! Thanks for sharing your home with us. We are avid snorkelers, but were amazed by the owners' photographs displayed in the unit. I wish we could figure out how to find a frogfish to get our own photo!

This was our second visit to Marazul and first time staying in the unit. Unit 3 was perfect for our family. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms with an upstairs tv loft area. There were six people on our vacation and this unit provided privacy and space. The owners have decorated the house with beautiful photos of the local area. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved having a washer in the outside closet area. That closet also allowed us to store our snorkel gear and beach stuff without bringing all the sand into the house. The pool closes at 9:00pm so there is no noise from the pool. During the day you could sometimes hear the swimmers but only if you were really listening for them while the windows were open. This unit gets a wonderful cross breeze and there is no need to run the air conditioners during the day. We love Marazul's location on the island. The owners provided information regarding close restaurants. They also have the best books on the island regarding the beaches and landhuises. We were able to quickly get to the beaches and restaurants. I cannot imagine a better location on the island.

I just spent a week here with my family and we loved it. There was more than enough space for us and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the quiet end of Westpunt. We made one trip into Willemstad and that was enough for us. We enjoyed daily swims in the pool after a day out snorkeling the nearby beaches. I loved having a washing machine in the bungalow...made it easy to pack light. We will definitely go back to Marazul #3 on our next visit to Curacao.

We spent one week at Marazul #3 with our 6-year old daughter and 1.5 year old son, and we loved it and recommend it strongly. We don’t normally return to vacation spots we’ve already visited, but we will likely make an exception to return here. First of all, Greg and Susan provide extensive information to make your arrival and stay smooth and hassle-free. They answered our questions over email quickly and thoughtfully. They made very good recommendations, which we strongly advise you to heed (concerning, for example, car rental, use of appliances, grocery shopping, dining, etc.). Second, their bungalow is beautiful and comfortable, and the grounds are incredible. The unit has everything you need to cook, comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms, in-unit laundry, and a gorgeous deck and patio. They supply a lot of stuff, including towels, linens, and some snorkeling gear and beach toys. The unit is literally a few steps from the pool, and there is an incredible view looking west over the Caribbean from the deck. There are two access points over rocky cliffs to the ocean, and they are great spots for snorkeling in the open sea. And the Marazul bungalows seem to attract very nice people – we had a wonderful time interacting with other guests. Third, the location in Westpunt is incredible. There are beautiful beaches within minutes, and they tend to be non-commercial and not too crowded. Marazul is also close to the big national park, the boka tabla cave, a monument and museum for the slave uprising, and many other spots. The area is largely undeveloped but has a few really nice restaurants, lovely beaches, good roads, and nice people. We found it to be the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Fourth, this is a great spot for young kids. If you have to return early in the evenings (as we did), spending time on the grounds is a lot of fun. The pool is lovely (our six-year old couldn’t stay out), the views of the ocean are magnificent, and there’s snorkeling right there. Note, if you are coming with a toddler, there are stairs in the bungalow, so we had to keep a close eye on our little guy. But there’s plenty of safe space on the grounds for a toddler to wander – you just have to watch out for the pool and the gates to the stairs leading down to the ocean. Our toddler ran free and loved it. In short, we can’t recommend it highly enough, we are extremely grateful to Greg and Susan,, and we plan on returning.

This bungalow was just as pictured except being there was even more beautiful! I miss my morning coffee while admiring the view. It is quiet in the west end but perfect for us. We did eat out every evening and found enough options so don't let that scare you. We enjoyed chatting with the guests by the pool in the afternoon and scuba diving with Go West and Dive N. We explored many gorgeous coves around Marazul. Greg and Susan are really quick to respond and provide a lot of useful information. Every recommendation they made was perfect. I highly recommend this unit if you are looking to snorkel, dive, enjoy some beautiful coves and RELAX.

The view, the view, the view! Looking out over the sea from large upstairs deck. INCREDIBLE!! Location is perfect for diving and snorkeling. Short drive to beaches. Bought fish directly from boats at Playa Grandi. The pool is steps from the house. Safe gated community. Definitely need a car. Buy your groceries before you arrive, there’s nothing close by. Sol Food and Trio Perotti are fabulous restaurants.Cas Abao & Porto Mari were our favorite beaches. Greg, the owner, answers emails promptly & Renee the property manager helpful with few minor issues. 3 bedrooms & baths..2 br have private baths. The outdoor space makes up for the small rooms. Fully equipped small kitchen, a small microwave, but only a toaster oven and a 4 burner cook top & nice pots. There’s a washer in a utility room. Not much indoor seating for dining. Only hot water in showers. We boiled water to do the dishes. We will definitely be back! Thank you again Greg and Susan.

The condo was very adequate for everything we needed. Loved having a pool right outside our door. Also loved that we could walk to snorkel! Many beaches close by to explore where snorkeling was awesome! We cooked a lot of our meals at the condo. Our favorite restaurant was Sol Food. The pizza was very good and Sunshine was a delight! All the folks we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Definitely a destination that will be on our list to come back to!

Had another great visit mid January. Love staying at Marazul and this place. Even though it was just the two of us, it was real nice having the extra space of the 3b 3b Carolina Castaway. The place was spotless and we really enjoyed having dinners on the upstairs deck overlooking the pool after spending the day snorkeling at the various nearby beaches. The water was perfect, clear, calm and plenty of great snorkeling. This is the best location to use as a base camp for exploring the Westpundt area. We didn't get around to visiting Willemstad this time since we enjoy being at this end of the island so much. The rolling hills of cactus make me think of the Southwest with the added benefit of having the Caribbean sea to dip into when you get hot. I also loved my morning and afternoon swims at the resort, the pool was always quiet and swims in the ocean were easy enough down the stairs. All in all just a great visit and we hope to be back! During our 3 weeks vacation over the Christmas Holidays in Curacao we stayed at 3 different locations this one being my favorite ! Clean spacious rooms , (we were 6 adults) Kitchen was very well stocked - convenient to have a washmachine available- great access for snorkeling and diving- bungalow right in front of pool - beautiful ocean view - quiet, secure area - good , fast Wifi connection. We were provided with information on getting around the island, where to purchase groceries, things to do, places to see and general information that we didn't know we wanted to know. We arrived at the resort and found it to be everything we could have wanted it to me. The bungalow is just steps from the pool. The view is wonderful. The bungalow is well stocked with the things you need and is beautifully decorated. What a wonderful place!

We had the opportunity to stay at Susan and Greg's place. It was amazing. They provided us with helpfull tips on Curacao, where to go, where to shop which made it much more easier for us when we arrived. The bungalow was great. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Very nice and relaxing place. Very quiet as well. The view was just so beautiful. Diving was at its best with easy access to a Dive shop as well as access to the sea from the resort. Our family of 4 had a perfect vacation and we loved staying at Greg Johnson's Oceanfront Bungalow. He provided us with all the guidance and essentials we needed to make our get-away wonderful. We can not say enough about our place. A beautiful home away from home but set in paradise! The view, the pool, the stairs to the ocean, the iguanas, the flowers, the sunsets, the food, the beaches... I could go on forever!
