We got there, the lady that checked us in was friendly and nice. The room was not cleaned and there were full of dust and little trash here and there in cabinets and kitchen. I opened the mirror in the restroom and someone ate a chocolates bars and left the trash in there charging for cleaning ans nit cleaning the place!!! Not cool at all!!! The refrigerator smelled like a dead mouse and was kind of digesting. The balcony was nice but not cleaned and the bench was broken and a pice of wood sticked out of it so we had to put blanket to sit on it. The kitchen was nice but all the pots were old and not enough spoon or fork for 12 people. I talked to Annie and she agreed for early check in, that was nice of her. But in the mean time the maintenance came in to instal The AC! And fix the curtain that I mentioned to Annie that is broken. Some beds in some bedrooms were too old that the wood sounds wired with every move at night. There were signs all over the place about not having music or talk loud in the balcony with the fines of $500 and $1000 at anytime of the day! Why would I want to go somewhere I can’t have my music on or talk at any time of the day!!! On my vacation!!! In the description, they said there will be paper towel, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash in all the bathrooms!!! Not true I had to run to store for paper towels and paper toilet and shampoo and body wash. I spouse to stay there three nights and there were no supplies for three days!! As it should of be according to description. Be aware you should drive to drop your own trash if you are staying for couple nights!! Wired for what you pay!!! For what I paid I had a very higher expectations and none was satisfied except the view of the cabins and beds that were super clean. Overall I liked the cabin but mot the rules!! You will not be comfortable with all the signs around the house. The pictures on this cabin needs to be updated. There are old and the cabins doesn’t look like the pictures at all except the views.

Home was well appointed with furnishings and necessities, accurate photos and short drive to town. Property owner was very responsive to questions. Very nice property for a family holiday gathering

Had a wonderful time at this property. Plenty of space for 11 people to hang out, play games, watch football, prepare and serve our meals. Even for the dogs to run around and enjoy. Annie was very quick to answer all questions and concerns.

We picked this property due to the 6 bedrooms and fenced in yard (we have 2 dogs). It proved to be a great decision since it allowed our entire family the space to sleep comfortably and not feel on top of each other. The property's living room and outside deck provided plenty of room for all to congregate and enjoy each others company. The home is tastefully furnished and decorated...first class! The game room is a great added touch. We will definitely reach out when we come back to Big Bear.

We appreciated the hilly location, views, sunsets. Outdoor terraces were used all the time. House is tidy, bed are good. Bathrooms are adequate, not great but perfectly usable. One did not appear tp have hot water, but we did not mind. Beyond that: We do not travel with rowdy teens but the mere singing of happy birthday and not too loud music triggered a visit from the local neighborhood code enforcement with threat of a $500 fine. (Rental-averse neighbors perhaps?) That and the strictly enforced curfew on the use of the hot tub (outta there by 10:00pm, made us feel like eleven year olds needing supervision, again, we are not "loud" people). At the end of the day these irritants were minor and we had a good stay. The owners deserve praise for a very clean house, loads of kitchen equipment and an intelligent pricing policy.

I booked this cabin for a group of family friends. The age group of our kids spans from baby to teen. Every one of them had a great time! We joked that this cabin had so many hidden rooms (great for hide n seek). We were surprised by all the amenities and hang out spots. We enjoyed sitting on the wrap around deck while it snowed. And the spa was great after a long day of skiing. We loved the great room for our large dinner nights. Overall the cabin was clean, accommodating and perfect for large friend or family vacations together! These memories will last a lifetime! We will definitely book again.

We come to big bear annually and this is by far our favorite place so far. It is perfect for large groups with spacious bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, open areas for all to sit, eat and play. The backyard deck has an amazing view of the lake and slopes, and as a bonus has lots of seating for large groups. We had dogs with us and the fenced in yard was prefect to let them run around. We also were able to walk to a short hike and it was a quick drive to the store for food. We would stay here again.

We loved the house, amazing location and great spaces.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is well equipped with anything you need. The location is great - not too far from town but in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a great cabin for dogs, with a huge outdoor FENCED IN backyard. Our dogs loved running around and barking at things. We loved sitting on the deck in the jacuzzi enjoying the moonlight. This cabin would be great at any time of year! The owners could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We had some special needs for my mom, and they went out of their way to support our family. Annie was super responsive whenever we had a question.

Annie was very responsive and super easy to work with. The cabin was set up with everything needed. Very close to everything! Beautiful deck with awesome views, highly recommended !

Our family vacations in Big Bear every year and this was by far the best vacation house we have rented. Ana literally thought of everything. There was not one thing we needed during our stay that we didnt have. Every room had more than enough blankets and pillows . Some of the rooms had robes as well. The house was more than stocked. She provided shampoo and soap in every restroom as well as a fully stocked kitchen. I noticed there were sleds, skis, snow board onsite for use during the winter season. The game room was nice for everyone to have fun in. It had a pool table and a fooseball table. The balcony is amazing set in the trees with a hammock in the yard below. The Jacuzzi on the deck was amazing. It seemed fairly new worked perfectly. There's was nothing i disliked about this house or the owners. The house does not have an air conditioner. I was a bit worried at first but almost every room has ceiling fans and the breeze up there is perfect. The only room that was a bit warm was the second master but if you leave the window open it's perfect. For people who are looking for that giant master bathroom this house doesn't have it but honestly you don't need it with everything else. I would highly recommend this property. Oh and on a side note I noticed that someone had commented that the furniture was outdated. I have quite expensive taste and the couches and chairs were to die for they were so comfortable! This an actual cabin with modern touches. My family had to come to big bear this time around for a funeral and I was worried about space . I wanted to make sure everyone had enough space so they could grieve and not argue because they were crowded. This was perfect, we accommodated 10 adults and 3 children perfectly. (I only anticipated 8 adults and 1 child, even with the extra people we were comfortable) this house could sleep way way more but for privacy it fit us perfectly. I couldn't recommend a better house or a better owner. Ana was courteous and attentive and very accomadating given our situation! We will never rent another house for our family vacations again! Highly recommended , you won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed our annual family trip at Annie's home. She responds quickly and provides information as needed. The home is close to the market and lake, but not too close. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and eating. The grill is connected to the natural gas line. The main level of the home accommodated our matriarch who's mobility is limited and uses a walker. The main level has two master bedrooms, each with a bathroom. There are 1.5 bathrooms to accommodate the common areas as well as the other two bedrooms. The upstairs bedrooms share the 5th bathroom. The patio areas were great for us to have separate activities at one time or all together. The hot tub was enjoyable by day or night. The game room was enjoyable so they could play games or their instruments without worrying about disturbing the group. It was nice that the pets could enjoy the trip as well. We enjoyed the stay and hope to return. Thank you for sharing your home.

The cabin is spacious & comfortable, the decks lend to a relaxing setting! Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, everyone had their own space if needed for a tranquil stay. 2 refrigerators, lots of towels & paper goods plus a good supply of dishes, cups, glasses, bowls, platters, utensils & pots & pans, everything one needs +. The owner is a delight, she responded to all questions & gave instructions immediately & easy to follow! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our family of 16 stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas. It was the perfect location for skiing, as you could avoid the crowds coming up the mountain. The house is located up some fairly steep roads on Upper Moonridge, however, so be sure to have chains! The interior is a little worn... definitely more of a cabin than a luxury home. Rooms are smaller in person than they look in the photos. The kitchen is especially tight for a large group. It's worth noting that the game room is downstairs and through the unheated garage. It's hard to play pool because the table is a little too close to the walls. Xbox was not working. The game room also does not have easy access to a bathroom, so don't plan to sleep anyone down there! The new jacuzzi was quite nice on the patio. It didn't get quite as hot as we would have liked, but maybe that was because we got 24 inches of snow while we were there! The views from the patio are terrific. You can see the slopes and the lake. That was our favorite part! Overall, we enjoyed our time here because of the location. But for the price (which was elevated for the holiday season) I would look for a newer or more updated property in the future.

Where do I start? We arrived at the house just in time for check in which was very simple. Got into the house and it was definitely like the pictures. There was 14 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. Super clean and very cozy. Makes you feel like your at home! I would for sure repeat the next time I visit Big Bear Lake, winter or summer. Being very close to Bear Mountain was very convenient. The views were excellent looking out at the slopes! The hot tub, the patio the play room, over all everything was great. Other than the house itself, the owner of the house Annie was very pleasant to deal with and she was there for me any time there was a question about anything. I for sure recommend this property whether you are going with a lot of people or just a small family! Thank you Annie!!

Annie is so responsive to any questions it's fantastic! Super location since we had skiers and boarders of all ages going back and forth all day between the house and Bear Mountain. We brought our two dogs and I was frustrated that I had forgotten their dog beds but much to our amazement Annie had two of them in the living room :) Would definitely like to stay there again. First of all... this is the first rental where everything worked and the pictures of the house actually looked like the pictures on the site. I really loved my stay. All my friends did. Annie rocks! So spacious and private and comfortable. Gonna book again. 100%. Best New Years Ever!!!!

This was our second time at this property and it does sure feels like home! The property is so gorgeous and located in a very nice and quiet area. It's super close to Bear Mountain. The house is big and it has all the amenities you needed and more. All of our family and friends has nothing but good comments about this property, that I picked the most warm and cozy property for all of us to enjoy our annual Winter getaway. I would absolutely rent this home again!

First off, Annie was a pleasure to deal with and very quick in responding. She was ready to answer any questions before booking as well as during our stay. Which was helpful since we wanted to extend our check out time. We were a large group composed of many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and significant others. The house was cozy with something for everyone, even the dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard. We stayed 2 nights and cooked all our meals there. There's a Vons and Stater brothers not to far so there's no need to bring anything from home. The lake isn't walking distance but also a short drive away. A few of us even managed to get up early enough to catch the sunrise from the lake. A truly relaxing place!

We had a large Family gathering at the Moonridge Lodge. The listing description was accurate. We enjoyed our stay immensely and Annie was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The home was set up nicely for privacy for each family. The views were astonishing. We had a great view of Big Bear Lake and also views to both of the ski resorts. This Christmas we four friends with families decided to rent a home. Moonridge on homeaway website looked beautiful with breathtaking pics and a promise of a home away from home. We contacted the owner/manager Annie and were very happy with her prompt and precise response. We had multiple email exchanges on homeaway site and within an hour or so we were all set for two night stay. We reached after about 3 hours of drive from LA and found the property every bit it was promised on the website. The warm welcoming entrance set the holiday mood. The instruction book was detailed about the home as well as near by attractions. The big living room with fireplace and decorated Christmas tree were perfect for the occasion. There were four large bedrooms downstairs and two large bedrooms upstairs with all linen and blankets provided and were very comfortable. There was ample space in drive way and garage to park our four cars. There was a full kitchen which came handy as no body wanted to go out on Christmas eve. This property had something for everybody game consoles, internet, books and extra games in the garage. The cleanliness was imppecable and property had touch of proffessionalism all around. The response was with in few minutes whenever we had any queries which was very assuring and impressive. Our stay was cozy, comfortable and we all had a very memorable Christmas. If we come back next year we would like to rent this home again as in my opinion it is one of the best places in the area. I would definitely recommend any body visiting Big Bear lake in California to check this property as you will make some memories to last!
