The property is beautiful! It’s a cute little suite with a fantastic view. I wanted for nothing while I was there. I had to communicate with the hostess, Windy, a little bit before my trip and she was awesome to work with. While I was there we got snowed in and she communicated both the plans for having the area plowed and gave me good advice for the winter driving conditions. I spent 6 days there and it flew by. I’d happily stay again. I already miss it.

Another beautiful trip with my second time staying here! Minutes to the trailhead, incredible views and the northern lights crackling woke me up! Fantastic!

We absolutely loved our stay! The suite was clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with food items, utensils, and appliances (though no paper towels, in case you need them!), and the bed was very comfy! The bathroom was a nice size, too. Nothing beat having a cup of coffee in the swinging chair overlooking Anchorage! Plus, our host made arrangements for us to check-in early which was incredibly appreciated after a long drive from Seward and hiking Flattop (great trails right around the corner)! We plan to stay here again when we next visit Alaska.

Nice living area above garage, very clean, cozy gas fire place that is perfect after a day on the glacier or hiking. Beautiful view and when skies are clear can see Denali!

Windy was a wonderful host!

It was a very nice, clean, and cozy apartment. The location was wonderful. Everything you see in the pictures is what you’ll get. My 2 problems with the place was the lack of kitchen equipment and not having all black out curtains. There are black out curtains in the bedroom however the bedroom isn’t fully walled in (at the ceiling) so light from the kitchen windows gets in to the bedroom and it was super hard to sleep in the middle of summer. And I only complain of this because out of all the hotels and rentals I stayed in Alaska, this was the by far the worst for sleeping. I wish the kitchen had a little more cooking equipment present. It was hard to even make a salad because there was no cutting boards.

The stay was great. Wish there was a television in the room though. I thought there would be since it was a Vrbo

Beautiful place and location to start our AK vacation! Loved the fact there was no TV as it forced everyone to unplug and enjoy the beauty, read, play games, and talk & laugh together❣️

This lovely chalet on the mountain has a beautiful view of the city and inlet. Very peaceful and cozy. Our host were gracious and even dug us out of the snow when we got stuck. It was easy access and short drive to anything we wanted to do. Thank you for a fabulous stay!!

The views from this Chalet was such a refreshing sight to see! We were able to see the northern lights from the balcony and from the entry porch! I came up to visit for my mother's birthday and Windy was such a great and accommodating host! Quick responses! I wish we were able to stay a little bit longer! I will definitely try and book this property again next time I'm in Anchorage! The location was fantastic for our needs, the glen alps trailhead was a quick 5 minute drive, downtown locations were about 15 minutes, lovely zoo down the road! My mother loved every moment here for her birthday and it helped to have a cozy chalet to come back to at night to relax

My husband and I visited Alaska on a mini honeymoon, before our move there next year. This location has breathtaking views. Do make sure you are prepared to drive up and down hill in decent snow if its winter time. Still an amazing place and very kind hosts.

This place was perfect for our 35th anniversary getaway! Quite neighborhood, great view . Would recommend to anyone!

I loved waking up to the amazing views of my hometown. The swing chair was my favorite spot to look out at the fall colors and even got to see the sunshine on Denali The Great One! Very comfortable and just as depicted 👍

What a beautiful chalet to relax and watch the beautiful views !

The Chalet location and view were awesome! The inside of the property was clean and neat! Although I would replace the shag carpet with linoleum or hardwoods. The carpet has seen better days! Also twice during our stay the carbon monoxide detector went off, once in the middle of the night (2:30). Owner says it is very sensitive! Nevertheless it was a little concerning! The chalet has many windows, with the sun not setting til after 11pm while we were there, makes for a difficult time getting to sleep. The Curtains do not provide amble cover to block out the sun light, particularly since the bedroom walls do not go to the ceiling which allows light from the living area and Kitchen area windows to penetrate the bedroom. Lastly a tv would of been nice, since WiFi and cell service were little to be desired.

A Nice clean unit in the hills outside Anchorage.

This property was extremely nice and in a great location if you are wanting beautiful views of the Cook Inlet and Anchorage. The house was quite clean and check in was a breeze. The host was very responsive to our questions.

Beautiful place. The view from this mountain chalet are breathtaking. Enjoyed our stay and Ms. Perkins supplied us with all our needs. We celebrated our 30th anniversary there and it will be unforgettable.

The guesthouse was so lovely. There’s a fun swinging chair, telescope, amazing views, games for the kids and so close to amazing hikes. Our host was so nice and responsive. We highly recommend this location.
