The DOBA restaurant on the rooftop was great. The chef is an amazing cook food was very delicious and atmosphere was beautiful!

The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious and had a good shower, the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, right at the beginning of old town and on the pedestrian area right opposite Teatro Massimo and our car was able to drop us only a short distance away. View from the room was of the pedestrian area and the Teatro. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was provided at a nearby cafe and was not good. The restaurant staff were rude. The food was below average. We only went the first morning (food was inedible) and then didn't go back except for a coffee. Suggest the hotel should look at an alternative provider for guest breakfast.

Excellent choice for discovering Palermo. This is an amazingly located property in front of the Teatro Massimo, perfect for walking anywhere in the old city. It was renovated tastefully and artfully, with obvious attention to quality, by two of the grown children of the family who owned the building when it once housed a shoe shop. Ours was a deluxe one-bedroom on the side of the building. It had two balconies with a fine view of the opera house. It was chic, contemporary and stylishly appointed. Impeccably clean. Though the neighborhood was noisy and vibrant way into the night, the flat was very quiet with the windows and shutters closed. Entrance is by digital key as these are serviced apartments rather than a hotel. The staff is communicative and responsive. The owners also run a very good restaurant with an unbeatable rooftop view of the Teatro. Vouchers entitle guests to a satisfactory breakfast in a lively cafe right outside the entrance.

The breakfast was great at the cafe just outside the accommodation - I really enjoyed it. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. It was easy to contact the managemen/owners who were very helpful and booked a taxi transfer and restaurants for us. The view from the aprtment was spectacular and very interesting and really made our 3 night stay.
I thought there was goint to be a hob/oven but there was neither even though there was a cooker hood. Otherwise perfect!

the location was amazing across from teatro massimo. the bed was comfortable, the rooftop restaurant was a highlight and meeting the owners chef of the restaurant was great being we are farmers and he has such a respect for farmers and the fresh produce provided in his dishes. The food was excellent and the view was amazing. Would go back in a heartbeat
The breakfast which was next door at a local restaurant was not what I would have liked yet that seems to be the breakfast offered throughout Italy/Sicily danish and coffee, sugar and caffeine. They did have fresh orange juice so that was great.

Location was amazing. We walked to all the sites we wanted to see. The nightlife was exhilarating. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. Hosts were fantastic. Breakfast right next door was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Very little to not like. Clean, bright and modern. The restaurant on the top floor was amazing.
The details of the parking were difficult the first time. Once you do it and it becomes routine it is rather easy.
Getting in/out of Palermo is a tall task for the foreign driver. If you can succeed here, you can drive anywhere.

Breakfast was excellent. Paola had explained that everything was included so I was happy to have freshly squeezed juice, two cappuccino, a brioche and panino colazione. One improvement would be to have a more clear non-smoking area ... But the location directly in front of Teatro Massimo, first class pastries, coffee, and excellent service were tremendous!
Check out instructions could be more clearly communicated - I had asked to store my luggage past check out time at 11:30 and was told to take my bag to the office that morning, but unfortunately no one was in the office and it was locked, so I left with my bag instead.

The view of Massimo Opera House right in front of our balcony is just totally unbelievable. Palazzo Sovrana is a well maintain and classy building. Paola and Filippo provide top service, the apartment is modern and clean, shower pressure is good. Breakfast at the cafe next to the apartment building is fantastic, we are able to order anything we like to try. Overall it is a wonderful experience to be able to stay at such an amazing place, it brings our trip in Palermo to a different level.

The perfect mix of a hotel and serviced apartment - Palazzo Sovarna is an excellently managed place. All our requests were responded to promptly. The location is ideal for first time visitors to Palermo. It appears like a noisy place but the double glazed doors really keep the noise out.
The room cleaning quality could be better. For now, everything is shiny and new, but one can see the stains setting in. E.g. in the kitchen sink, room corners.

We found nothing at all to complain about. Outside control of property, however, our taxi driver, despite request, dropped us off in a poor access location and navigating thru a busy cafe laneway with heavy bags over cobblestones was no fun!
