Staff were helpful and pleasant

Looked very dated on entry and needed updating, room was claustrophobic other than a skylight no windows, and we had the deluxe room!! Breakfast between 8-9 and it was awful vegan option my partner had the same plenty of it but wasn’t eaten.

Very handy location for my work and Cinderford is a nice town with easy access to the forest for an evening walk

My room had no window, only a sky light which was in accessible. In hot weather this wasn't great. I won't have booked had I realised that there was no view from the room

needs a little updating but after talking to breakfast lady she was saying lot of changes and updating planned couple of staff very miserable but the lady behind bar very happy and helpful

couldn’t get a phone signal in the bedrooms, logged into Wi-Fi and even that disappeared once in the room 🥲

Staff friendly, good location, food nice splenty of it, so dog friendly we took our two dogs, room nice size.

The bathroom in our room was a on going process with no heating in there, the arm on the shower was broken and some of seal around the shower glass was coming away.

Nice refurbishment but finishing touches needed, eg. handrail on stairs, edges of windows, tiling and paintwork in ensuite and entrance to pub patio. No wardrobe hanging facilities. Bedside light on one side only. WiFi poor.

Breakfast was one of best we've had recently. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Rooms very clean. Excellent quality towels and decor/carpets new and modern.

Our room was excellent for one or two nights but bit on the small side so although cupboard space no room for wardrobe for hanging smarter clothes shirts, dresses etc. Limited/no storage in bathroom. The only window was a high skylight unable to be opened so a little hot and stuffy. Excellent fans/cool air blowers supplied but a bit noisy when sleeping. No data connectivity through the 2 providers we use and although free wifi until very late evening this was a little patchy.

It was in the ideal location for my requirement to get to the Forest of Dean Crematorium for my aunt's funeral. Room was nice although I would have liked a chair and table !

The Inn was closing down for refurbishment the day after, so the food facilities were not available. Had to go to the town centre to get something to eat, but I wasn't that bothered as I like a walk !

you pay for what you expect. Room was clean and warm. Our room and bathroom could do with a lick of paint/ patchwork and a little refurbishment.

We thought Breakfast was included and thought that's what we paid for but due to family problems we were told there was no Breakfast. We didnt query this as it could have been potentially sensitive for them. Evening meal was very good though. Thank you

Breakfast was fantastic, was really lovely, and the staff were really kind, friendly and happy to help with questions. They even gave the dog his own sausage!

There was nothing that I didn't like, I'll definitely be returning again!

the bar has recently been renovated and was very welcoming. My room was excellent with an extremely comfortable bed and a large power shower in the tastefully designed bathroom.

The bathroom was a good size and had a lovely shower.

It could have been cleaner. The mattress was cheap or old but either way, needs replacing as my back paid the price. There was no chair in the room and nowhere to work so this had to be done in the bar. No breakfast during the week. The food in the evenings was pretty awful so went elsewhere for that too.

Nothing my son had a serious and we could.not stay as had to go to hospital I phoned to apologise and also emailed next day but not reply and Still.charged full wack even though we did not use room or eat breakfast not at all caring or compassionate and we would.have stayed again another time but not now

the room was modern and clean.

The staff was really friendly and they made you welcome and very polite to and the food was wonderful .would stay here again very rexaling
