You can walk to the beach! It is a great location, close to the strip.

Perfect house for our Spring Break vacation with good view of the beach. We had a great time & Host, Jesus, always replying quickly to answer any questions. We will definitely be looking to book this house again for summer. Five stars accross the board! Thank you!

Our family had a week-long Thanksgiving gathering at Bonita Rita. The accommodations were excellent. Plenty of room on the second floor for lounging and dining . The bedrooms were very comfortable. Jesus was very responsive to text messages. One of our clan was injured after a trip in the driveway. Jesus expressed genuine concern and took action to help prevent similar trips in the future. We still had a wonderful time and plan to stay there again.

We loved our stay. Jesus was very helpful and the kitchen/living area actually feel larger than they look in the pictures. We loved the beach access and the rooms etc were great! This one is high on our list for a return trip.

We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room, clean and welcoming. Walked to the beach and enjoyed quiet time while everyone slept in. 😎 So close to all the attractions. If we come back we will probably stay here again.

This beach house is an excellent home and location for a family getaway! There was plenty of comfortable space for all of us to eat together, relax in the living space together, and hang out on the balconies together - key focus on being able to be TOGETHER, which is so easy with the upstairs open floor plan. I love the decor with a very tastefully done beach theme. The kitchen is so well stocked that we didn't have to use anything we brought with us - tons of cookware, utensils, and spices as well as dishes, glasses, mugs, and silverware. The appliances are clean and there are numerous small appliances provided - toaster, toaster oven, flex brew coffeemaker, and a blender. We cooked and had breakfast together each morning and had coffee on the 2nd floor balcony where you can see the ocean. There were plenty of linens for us all and we did laundry a few times in the fairly new stacked full size washer & dryer conveniently located on the 1st floor with the bedrooms. The wagon, beach chairs, and beach toys are a really helpful touch and that wagon saved us because we brought our own, but we had too much for just one! The neighborhood "private" beach was so nice for family time and keeping up with kiddos. There were plenty of things close by for shopping, dining, and entertainment with Wal-Mart, Kroger, Target, and Pleasure Pier. Last, but not least, Jesus & America are wonderful hosts and answered any questions we had very promptly. We hope to return soon to Bonita Rita!!

The property was exactly as shown and within a very quick walk to the beach. There were public and private beach areas, the private beach was never crowded. The house included a few beach accessories that made it even more enjoyable to spend the day at the beach and the balconies at the house were also relaxing to spend time on. Jesus was an amazing host! Helpful and quick with communication. It was a perfect place to stay and close to multiple attractions and restaurants. We’re already planning our next trip!

The house is absolutely gorgeous with a wonderful open layout on the top floor, great outdoor spaces and nice bedrooms. The location is less than a 5 min walk to the beach and the homeowner provided a wagon, umbrellas, chairs and beach toys. The beach is perfect for all ages with warm, shallow water and playful sized waves. Our host was extremely responsive to questions and very helpful. We will definitely be back!

We didn't like no pets allowed or no noise after 10 pm. But it was a great location and had all the stuff available to have fun at the beach!

We loved staying at the Bonita Rita. Pics online were exact, and the house smelled so good when we walked in! It truly felt like home during our stay. The beach was a stones throw away and an easy walk. Jesus was always a text away if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!!

The house itself is nice with comfortable beds and nice amenities. My teenagers loved that there was plenty of lounge room for everyone both inside and out.

Everything was in good working order, no surprises, close to the locale of our family reunion and provided enough space to gather and visit.

We enjoyed our visit. Communication was good, Jesus was quick to answer all of our questions. Location provided an easy access to the private beach and just a short drive to the Galveston sea wall. Problem with standing water in ditches which created an over load of misquotes! Three bedrooms and two sleeper pull outs upstairs provide lots comfortable sleeping. Appreciated the lawn chairs, umbrella and toys available for us to use.

Great house you can easily walk to beach from property - take a wagon. Safe area. The house was well stocked and allowed lots of room for everyone. Highly recommend!!

Very clean and roomy. It does have a lot of stairs but what beach house doesn't have stairs. All bedrooms on lower level and very large open living area on second level. Loved the location to get to town, views from balcony and privacy of the beach (cars not allowed on beach). The owners were awesome and very responsive. They also have another house just a few houses down. I would certainly recommend this beach house.

The home was spotless, provided a lot of beach necessities. Location and views were perfect. Short drive to all the restaurants and bars but just outside of all the traffic - which we love. Homeowners were very responsive and helpful with details. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

My Lord the house was extremely clean and the walk to the beach was exactly what was posted. Jose was always responded right on time. I was unable to get into the house and called him he picked up the phone and explain to me how to get in. My stay there was OUTSTANDING. Thanks A Bunch

This was a perfect spot for our summer friend’s getaway. It is a minute walk to the beach and it is also very convenient to load up the truck with your gear, drive, drop off, and walk back. The house is well equipped with all essentials. There are two beautiful balconies to enjoy the view with coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. All beds are comfy-even the sofa beds. We had a great experience!

Me and my family enjoyed our stay during Mother’s Day weekend. The patio was amazing for hanging out, morning coffee and just relaxing and reading. Beach was very close a short 2min walk. The wagon they offered helped a lot with taking stuff to the beach. The house was clean and had a lot of the kitchen stuff we needed for cooking and hosting Mother’s Day brunch. Jesus was super generous allowing us to have late check out to finish our Mother’s Day brunch with out rushing out. Will be coming back for sure

Everything about the stay was fantastic. The location is close to the beach, but also relatively close to 61st St. There was a big storm the first night we were there which threw off the thermostats. The owner was VERY quick to respond and had it repaired quickly. The kitchen is fully stocked which made cooking a breeze. I highly recommend the property.

Rain or Shine we had a great time! Beach House was in a great location, very clean and nicely situated! We had a few little issues that the property manager resolved quickly! We will definitely be staying here again!

We chose this property for it's proximity to the beach. This beach is the best of both worlds! You can either be on a pedestrian only side or drive, park, and essentially tailgate right on the beach feet from the water! I love a clutter free VRBO and this house fit the bill! Nicely decorated and very comfortable! Jesus, the Owner, was very easy to work with and he responded in a timely manner to any questions/needs we had. There were 4 adults, and 5 children (1 yr - 8 yr.) I think the only thing that would have been helpful to have would be a baby gate to block off the stairs. Other than that we had a wonderful time! Side note* the bedrooms are below the kitchen and living room. You can definitely hear all the pitter patter of feet, luckily we brought the sound machine for the baby and she and slept through it!

We were looking for a quiet little getaway for our family between Christmas and New Year’s and this house was perfect! Steps from the beach that was never crowded, two balconies with partial views of the water, close enough to restaurants for delivery or take out, it was just what we were looking for to get away yet still feel safe during this pandemic. The house was so perfectly decorated, with bedrooms on the main floor and a wide open living space upstairs. We booked at the last minute, and the owner was so friendly and easy to work with. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we return to the Island!
