Tiny room but quiet, not far from bus stop

Be aware this has a shared bathroom as per the advert, and the block might put you off, but once inside it was fine, and well priced.

The manager was very kind and helpful. Close to bus lines (I was on foot)

Did not anticipate walking up so many flights of outdoor stairs, the air was still and the mothball smell was overwhelming. But the room was a good value for me and the manager was responsive, kind, and respected my privacy.

There was nothing good, actually it was awful. No privacy what so ever, no safety. Everything was extremely dirty. The posted info were inaccurate and misleading.

The room was extremely dirty. The "main" shared toilet (not clear it was shared until we got there) was closed with a sign: "out of service, please use toilet downstairs". Was it really out of service or is it always like that? The toilet downstairs was no bigger than 1.5 sq meters (shower included). The toilet door had a simple latch lock (you could open it with no resistance) and the door did not completely close, leaving no privacy what so ever, and no safety. One standing outside the toilet could easily see inside: the worst thing one could experience. Everything was extremely dirty. The posted info were inaccurate. The room was full of hazardous electric connections (with more than one multi-plug adaptor inside the other) and again, the door "lock" used the same key of the other rooms. On the inside, there was a BROKEN bolt to better guarantee maximum unsafely. In Italy a place like this would be closed by authorities in no time. Unacceptable.

I like the fact that you can use the kitchen to heat up your food,the bathroom was always clean and the cleaning lady was great and fun to talk to.

That it was a long walk to the underground station.

Absolutely clean place, with a good smell across the house; very comfortable; nice view from my room of London skyline and the Shard; Lyssiemay is a very kind host and available in case of any requests; easy self check-in/check-out; despite the non-very-central location, it's well linked by bus and tube (1 to Tottenham Court Road and Central London, stop across the street; Jubilee Line from Bermondsey, 15 mins walk)

The price included breakfast, but no breakfast was served. This is a serious inaccuracy and a misleading claim I would have booked a different place if I had known there was no breakfast served.

The host was very welcoming and provided everything we needed. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

There was no milk for tea. I was unaware when booking that the room was in a flat on a housing estate.

The host was so kind and friendly. The room was just as advertised - clean, comfortable and perfectly suited for my needs. The location was pretty good as well - there is a bus stop right in front of the building and it's in walking distance to railway and above ground metro.

very nice host, provided plenty towels, and very affordable for those traveling alone like me. A fridge is provided which is a huge plus and the bed is very comfortable. Facilities like food storages are very close and just a 5 minutes walk from the property. Intimate room with a shared bathroom very clean and beautiful. And the Wifi is very fast and provided for free so that’s great. The bus 1 which drops you in the city center of london is literally in front of the house so that was perfect to visit the whole city!!! so perfect localization. Very calm and sweet people up there. LyssieMay is always there if you need something and is very helpful, i will surely come back to this place for my next trip to London ! +++++

Nice clean affordable room in London with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Right off of #1 bus route which is convenient or you can walk about 20 minutes to a tube stop. Everything is in good condition, nice hot water, mini-fridge in the room with a tea kettle (aside from the actual kitchen). Lyssiemay was very friendly as a host.

Does take a bit to get into very central London, but you save a lot of cash by being a bus route out. Not a ton of food choices super close, but just a few minutes walk away there is stuff.
