Lovely country pub/hotel. Room was spacious, clean and well presented. The hotel catering was great for dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly.

The beds mattress was very uncomfortable, it really needs to be replaced as quite saggy.

Our room (room 2) was delightful - it had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The styling was charming, in keeping with the rustic location but with a luxury feel. The food, service and location was exceptional and great value for money. Have no hesitation in recommending!

The location was excellent. Loved being able to take our dog away with us for a weekend. Lovely walk around the castle and millpond which is right on your doorstep

Idyllic setting next to Carew Castle. Beautiful room, comfortable, cosy with all the signs of a good night to come. Really good food at the Inn. Welcoming staff.

Just as we got into bed, a loud humming sound started to come from the bathroom, which gradually grew louder and louder as the nigh drew on, making it almost impossible to sleep. I tried to contact the cell number that I found in the room but the phone was off and I left a voicemail message but with no reply, even after having booked out. What should have been a nigh to remember, was probably one of the worst night’s sleep (or no sleep) I’ve had in the last 15 years…

The pub and room character was fab. Great location, right by Carew Castle and very central to getting to lots of places. Staff were super friendly and we were well looked after. We'll definitely go back.

Breakfast and room was great parking great great for dogs dodey main road lead straight from cottages

On arrival no staff who new what they where doing and had to wait a while to be given a room even tho we had paid 12 hours before u

Nice room, comfy bed, great shower, very nice breakfast.

Bathroom hot (towel radiator), cold tap ran hot/warm for ages, bit of noise from upstairs.
