This property was amazing. Although it was a work trip, the relaxing atmosphere and views really allowed me to relax.

The boathouse was so lovely. Well decorated and maintained with very good beds and a stunning view over the water. Everything you need is available in the boathouse. The house is very clean and well equipped. The platform has nice furniture to relax and drink a beer of wine while watching the sunset and the ocean and harbour and hearing the albatros birds. Very relaxing! The stairs from the platform make it possible to get into the water directly from the boathouse. We took our two dogs and they also like to go up and down from the stairs and exploring the seaweed downstairs. There were deers in the garde of our neighours in the evening and also in the fields nearby while walking the dogs in the morning. There is a charging location for your electric car nearby the house of the owner. The location is perfect to stay while you want to explore the beautiful city Trondheim which you can easily reach by taking the ferry nearby.

The only thing is that the grass towards the house is very slippery so we all slipped down once in a while. It was kind of funny as well. The small village is nice but for our 10 years old son a little boring. But he loved the swimming in the ocean, so for children it is fine just for a few days.

The views are stunning and the house are beautifully furnished and taken care of with great care. I would gladly recommend staying here anytime!

Nothing really!

The house had a perfect view and good location. It was so clean and cozy. Beds were so comfortable! The owner paid attention on every detail in the house. Runar and his father were very helpful and easy to reach when we struggled with the icy roads on the way back. We are definitely coming back!

I loved the interior design and the view from the living room. It was remarkable! The place was very quiet, that it is exactly what we were looking for.

Nothing worth mentioning

The boathouse is one of these rare gems when you just cannot believe your luck finding it and it’s available on your requested dates. The house itself is just as good as on the pictures: Stylish, yet cozy, and well equipped. The view is stunning. We spent most of the time just watching the sea, listening to the seagulls and breathing the fresh air. When the tide is high, you can go swimming directly from the front porch. The boathouse is situated a short walk from the cozy fisherman’s village of Råkvåg, with a few shops and restaurants. Stokkøya and the museum Kystens Arv are both about one hour drive, and are perfect destinations for day trips.

I missed an egg timer and a teapot in the otherwise well equipped kitchen.

The place is an oasis! The location is perfect. Practically on the water. The Boathouse is located close to the supermarket and the restaurants of the small charming village of Råkvåg. The bed was comfortable and all the decoration was divine! The kitchen is fully stocked and is very charming. Loved watching the sunset from the sofa in the evening. The Boathouse is excactley as described in the photos and even more in fact! Will definitley come back to stay here again! Runar is an amazing host!
