The property “Cottage Kubínska hoľa” is located at about 1100 m a.s.l. and as such offers wonderful views. It was clean, the food was ok and the staff was very friendly.

The beds were not very comfortable and it was a bit noisy - one could hear all the noise from the corridors in the room. But the worst thing about this property was the last part of the road. The description on the cottage website states that the last 6,5 km of the road in the forest are maintained. That is not the case! Those last 6,5 km were pretty horrendous and not very suitable for normal cars. I think that it is irresponsible not to mention it on the website. We payed for two nights, but only stayed 1 night because I did not dare to drive that road with my rental car again. We were not the only guests who did that. We did not get our money back for that one night and not even for the breakfast.
