The cabin was far more spacious than expected - we were greeted by Ruth who was most welcoming. The whole place was very clean, and the hot tub was lovely. Can't recommend staying here enough - we will certainly be returning. Thank you Ruth :)

Our stay at this property was great. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host who was very helpful and recommended local places for food as well as taxi services for getting into town. She also made herself readily available for any questions whilst not imposing on our stay. The property itself was also amazing, it had everything you could need for a relaxed stay away (board games, movies, hot tub). There wasn’t anything additional that we needed during our stay. The location is remote however it is only a 15 minute drive/taxi journey into the centre of Shrewsbury so it is great for a quiet stay whilst having the option of restaurants and shops if wanted.

Such a beautiful, clean, peaceful trip. Don't have a bad word to say, everything was immaculate! Amazing value for money. Great host and very helpful. Pictures don't do iustice of how truly lovely the retreat is! Would highly recommend!

An absolutely incredible stay at Ruths retreat. The accommodation has everything you need and is spotless. Ruth and Dean are the perfect hosts. We have come away feeling so relaxed, the hot tub and the views blew us away. This is our third stay here and is somewhere we will come back to again and again.

Ruth replays rapidly to online messages which is extremely helpful. The facilities were very clean, comfortable and fully equipped with utensils. We felt at ease immediately as soon as we got into the retreat.

This is our 3rd time visiting Ruth and her accommodation and we have booked again for next New Year - we love it here. The lodge is amazing. Very clean, spacious and modern. Very quiet location as in the middle of nowhere, Only 10 minutes in car to Shrewsbury. Great hosts. 10/10

I loved how it was located with a perfect view of the Shropshire hills and local farm life.
I liked how big and homely the lodge was, how it was so modern inside! We want to live in one ourselves.
We loved the hot tub located outside. I loved waking up to the family horses playing in the field. it was just amazing. Nothing better than ending the day relaxed. Ruth is a really lovely woman. we would love to come back again.

Ruth was very accommodating, friendly and willing to go above and beyond for us . The settings were beautiful, peaceful , very well maintained - The Retreat was exceptionally clean and had all the essentials you could need it really is a beautiful property .
Hot tub was fantastic it’s large and was ready to use straight away , added extras were Ruth had assembled a Christmas tree and tasteful decorations and put the heating on ready for our arrival with made the arrival 10/10 so snug and welcoming.

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time here, everything was perfect. Ruth and Dean were both lovely and made us feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cosy break.

I liked everything people animals views peace and quiet locatoon lodge was amazing loved it all
I was a bit disappointed with the hot tub not all the jets worked and the volume was low not enough bubbles still enjoyed it though

Ruth is a wonderfully warm host, her retreat is an extension of her own perfectly accommodating personality. It is a home away from home and the perfect spot for a well earned break.

The place is absolutely stunning. From the scenery to the actual retreat. The host were amazing and even helped me organised my partners birthday day out. Couldn't ask for anything more
