We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and ease of checking in. This is a quaint old house with large bedrooms. Once we found the fans we were able to cool the upstairs rooms nicely.

Property was in an excellent location to enjoy all of Dubuque. Walking distance to several breweries and restaurants and easy access for day trips to Decorah and Effigy Mounds. The fire pit area was great and there was plenty of wood provided by the owner. The only drawback was the lack of comfortable furniture; the couch was fine but when there were three of us, it was difficult for all of us to be comfortable. Really a great place for a stay in Dubuque.

House was just as expected. Plenty of space. Beautiful setting. Perfect location, close to shops, coffee, pubs and restaurants. We walked everywhere.

College friends got together for a fun weekend of shopping and sightseeing. Host was responsive to our needs. Very nice to have 3 bedrooms and two bath for 5 of us.

This property is awesome! Great location close to Dubuque restaurants and activities, 20 minute drive to Galena. We felt right at home with all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms are so cute and beds super comfy. Jeff was an excellent host. We had a small issue and he responded right away to help us. I only wish it had been warmer outside to enjoy the cute patio and fire pit. Highly recommend this property!

Great historic property that has been nicely updated. Plenty of room to spread out. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. The weather didn’t cooperate, so we didn’t get to use the back deck area. May have to return in the summer to enjoy that space.

Fantastic rehab of historic home! The cozy backyard with BBQ and fire pit underneath the stone bluff made our stay very memorable! The property owner always responded quickly to my inquiries. Driveway parking was a big plus. The location is in walking distance of many interesting things to do and see.

Our group of 4 really enjoyed this house. Nice tv room for relaxing, patio in the back was a lot of fun to grill and have a fire with everything supplied. All the bedrooms were upstairs making sleeping quiet. We would definitely come back again. Thanks Jeff!

Six of us stayed for a long weekend for a family wedding. There was plenty of room to enjoy each other's company on the main floor. Great kitchen space, and the outdoor patio is gorgeous staring straight at a bluff. Comfy beds, cute decor, and a great location! We would absolutely stay here again. The only drawback is there's only one shower (1.5 bathrooms), so plan accordingly!

The house was very clean. We needed some dish soap and just sent a message to Jeff, the owner. He responded immediately. Whenever I texted him even before the trip he responded immediately. Checking in and checking out was easier than any other VRBOs.

We had a wonderful time staying in this property while in town for a family reunion. If we return we would definitely want to stay here again. We could walk to Main St in 5 minutes.

Great size if rooms, comfortable beds, great kitchen with all you needed. Maybe a better skillet pan is only opportunity.

We had an amazing time and really enjoyed the place! It was writhing walking distance to so much! Grill was a perfect addition to grill out and enjoy hanging with our college son! Would definitely stay again.

We travel to DBQ regularly but this was the first time staying in a rental property there. The home was beautiful, well equipped and clean. We were able to comfortably sleep 3 adults and 3 kids. Location was perfect. We rarely ever need to stay in a rental inDBQ but would def stay in the one again.

We were in Dubuque for a family wedding and it was a great location to attend all the activities. Property very nice and no issues!

We chose this property for our son's wedding weekend in Dubuque. He and his fiancee were married at Cathedral of St. Raphael's a block away and they had their reception at the Hotel Julian, two blocks away. It was a perfect location with restaurants and other establishments very close by. It was wonderful to have a 'home away from home' for our son and our family for his wedding weekend. The property is very nice inside and accommodated our family well. We were pleased to find a well stocked kitchen with dishes that could be used for family meals and entertaining a few guests inside and out. The outdoor area is very pretty, right up against the bluff with adequate space for a small gathering which we hosted between the wedding and reception. A little yard work was necessary to spruce it up before pictures were taken in back. It was a wonderful find for a family from out of town celebrating their son's wedding. The area seemed safe, although there is inconsistency between property upkeep in the area. This could be due to age of properties. Several friends will be renting this property in the future for similar events. We would stay here again when in Dubuque! Thank you.

We had rented the other side of the owner's property a few years ago. Really enjoyed the house & got to enjoy the cute backyard patio both nights. Close enough to walk to restaurants and shops , etc. Jeff is very easy to work with and if have any questions. Recommend his properties!

In town for a girls weekend & had activities planned in Galena, IL. Easy access to highway and only 20 minutes to Galena. Great house, clean and great outdoor space that we put to good use. Found some fun things to do close by as well.

We were in Dubuque for our grand daughter's wedding at 7 Hills Brewery. Great location, 5 min from venue, museum/aquarium, fast food and groceries. House was super clean, homeowner was so nice, great communication. Big enough for 4 adults and 2 children.

Loved the fire-pit in the back yard! Realizing it was going to rain in the afternoon and evening, and not wanting to miss this fun bonus feature, we had a fire with our morning coffee!
