Loved the house and the location....would definitely stay again

We loved our first stay in Cape Charles! We were visiting during spring break, which we found out is right before the town's opening season, but we still found enough to see and do! Hoping to come back again and visit during a warmer week to enjoy the beach/water for a longer period of time.
The house was well equip for adults and kids. Comfortable beds and furniture. Lots of fun puzzles and games for all ages. Easy check-in/out process and quick communication with owners if/when needed. Ideal location just a few blocks from the beach, main street, and park.
With this being our first trip to Cape Charles, we were pleased with all aspects of our trip and will definitely rent this house again if available! Thanks again!

We really loved the house for our two families! We got to enjoy the front porch on Friday while the weather was perfect! We walked to the beach, went downtown, played at the park and then spent Sunday watching football. It was exactly what we needed! The kitchen had everything! Each bathroom had soap and toilet paper. We'd love to come back!

We enjoyed our weekend and hosts were responsive throughout the whole process. We went for walks, enjoyed the town and ate in enjoying the large dining room. Football and games for the group in the living room was very spacious! Thanks for the great weekend.

We liked the ambiance, the setting , and the general decor. We had 8 people staying (6 adults & 2 children), and we thought that there were 3 full bathrooms. The ad is misleading. The backyard area was somewhat dirty. Other than that we were happy.

My parents, my three children and husband all stayed at this home for a week. It had everything we could need. The location if perfect and close to beach and ice cream. The home felt spacious enough to house us all comfortably and the king size beds were luxurious. Plenty of toys for the kids!

Great house for the kids, bunk beds, hanging chair, books toys and Disney+. Great location, helpful owners, we enjoyed it very much. Weather was not great but we made the best of it.

Comfortable and spacious and within walking distance to town and the beach. Property owner provided us with activities to do and recommended restaurants in the area. It was our first visit to Cape Charles and a great experience.

This house is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. A few things needed some attention though. The light over the stove was missing which made for dark cooking. If the bulb had been there, we would have replaced it, but didn’t know what type to buy. Also, the kitchen floor is obviously circa 1912 (when the house was built). A nice touch, but needs refinishing. Bare feet got splinters 😬 Also, there is no light in the upstairs (hallway) shower. Very dark with curtain closed. I went looking in the sofa cushions for the tv remote and found toys and crumbs from previous visitors. I feel like the cleaners should have taken care of that. Everything else was “as advertised”. A nice space for my husband and myself and our two grown daughters and their families.

Our kids (2.5 and 5.5) loved the toys and books available. Would absolutely stay again next year!

We loved our stay at this property- clean, thoughtful touches, charming decor. Our little one loved the bunk room and we appreciated the tasteful renovation and spacious rooms. A gem in Cape Charles!
