Overall was very satisfactory. Very friendly owner with an adorable litlle puppy. Only drawback is no offstreet parking. Not a biggy. Was great just for me and my husband - spacious. Unfortunate about the bad weather as we couldn't access outside. Outside looked nice.

Lovely property and good location.
Very clean and comfortable. Most things were provided with a couple of exceptions I hadn't noted prior to arriving.
I wasn't aware there would not be any milk until I arrived and the same with no TV. There is wifi so I used this instead.
I would have liked to have access to an iron.
But overall a lovely place to stay.

Very nice unit, Clean, well equipped and the hosts were very nice. Also, great location - walking distance to central Gisborne and the Balance Street Village. Guests should be aware that the wifi is very weak, there is no TV and very little privacy as the unit is the back yard which is used by the host family.

Whare Stout St
Very clean and comfortable. It was super hot in Gisborne and the only cooling system we had was fans, which were unfortunately inadequate for the job. Would be nice to have more privacy from the main house, maybe some screening.
Otherwise we throughly enjoyed our stay, close to all ammenities and plenty of room for both my husband and I.

Beware
Overall stay was OK....our hosts never introduced themselves to us at all, we got an occasional "hi" and were completely ignored on multiple occasions...guessing it may have been as we were from Auckland...so beware Aucklanders. We definitely would not return to this property, very disappointing. No TV, No Iron and most of all No Privacy. The dog "Sadie" however was very friendly.

Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet and well stocked and great attention to detail. Only one minor point, a small vegetable knife / peeler in the draw would have been appreciated.
Otherwise I had a great stay. Sorry about all the bottles in the recycle bin but golf in that heat was the problem. Dick

Comfortable, clean & tidy. Unfortunately no TV, internet uncertain and bathroom small and tight for an adult. Lack of TV not in description would probably stayed elsewhere.
