The garage was nice for our motorcycles. It is secluded but right off the highway with a great view of the valley behind it from the huge deck. We saw deer and turkeys. I would recommend it to others and would rent again if we had a large group. The driveway could be marked a bit better, very easy to miss the turn off the highway.

Great spot

This property was the perfect place for me and my girls to hang out, get ready, and come back and crash for the night. The location has gorgeous views, the house is just beautiful, and the distance to get into Deadwood is perfect. You are outside of town, but not too far away. The house and the feel inside is super homey and comfortable. When you would go out on the deck in the morning or right around sunset, you would see many deer and turkeys just doing their thing. Just beautiful. The patio door did not work for us and we couldn't figure out why. I sent a message to the property manager, and he sent one back right away on how to try and make it work. We tried his trick, but unfortunately, we weren't able to get it to work for us. He apologized for the inconvenience and said once we were gone that he would take a look at it to get it working for the next people. It would have been nice to have working for us, but I understand these things happen. Otherwise, everything worked great for us. I can't recommend this place enough. It was a great experience, and I am already wanting to plan another friend or family trip in the future so we can stay here again!

Tried to resolve concerns with owners/leasers several times, but no acknowledgement was given or issues addressed. No apologies or solutions to our problems. Hope experience is better for the next renters. No cleaning supplies available at the home to clean up mice excretions or dirty floors.

Reviewer Comments: We reserved Deadwood Meadows for our immediate family of 11 and had 3 other family members join us for the long weekend for a family wedding. The cabin is in a great location super close to Deadwood and just a few minutes from Spearfish. The 14 acres has some beautiful scenery and lots of space for outdoor activities and sight-seeing. We had 5 kids with us and they enjoyed the hot tub and the open grassy area to play catch on. There are a couple of rooms in the house that are a bit older than the rest of the house, but it looks like they've renovated the kitchen area. The eating area and dining room were very spacious for lots of company. The house was in good condition and overall we had a wonderful time at your cabin with our family! Thank you! :-)

This was a great place to stay for our family vacation. It is an older home, but you can tell they are going through and updated it. The view and property was spectacular. Very central for different places to visit in the area.

Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival [very difficult to find, we had to put a garbage can out for a landmark] we found some issues with the hot tub that they tried to fix but was unsuccessful and a couple of windows that were broken.Privacy was an issue as well. We had 4 couple's and three single men. All the rooms seemed to have clear glass doors leading to a common area. We had to hang sheets over them for privacy. One room with 2 double beds is attached to the master bedroom and they have to walk past your bed to use the bathroom. Not a very well laI'd out house. But we made it work. The overall condition of the house was good and clean. Coffee maker could use an upgrade (very slow). Bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels.The management was friendly and helpful. Overall, not a bad stay just the privacy issues.

There was some miscommunication between owner and rental company about the deck being redone and the old deck wood was placed out in the middle of the meadow which was the back drop to our wedding. The master bathroom shower did not work, there were squirrels or chipmunks above the kitchen, the bottom steps were shaky(although I know they were redoing the deck already). All in all even with these little hiccups it was a great location. Thank you.

Beautiful location. Nothing fancy, but very spacious and most supplies were plentiful. Minor details could be improved on and have been reported to the manager. We would book this house again in the future.
