Brian was the consummate host, and this property was exactly as advertised - a beautiful and comfortable, well-appointed family home. We could not have been happier. The location is perfect with lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance, and otherwise close proximity by bike/car/transit to anywhere else in Vancouver. We will definitely be happy to return to this property again.

Beautiful house with a fully equipped kitchen - we made meals for 8 people. Location is excellent with grocery stores and wine store nearby. 5 minutes or less to transit stop. 20 minute walk to Granville Island and 15 minutes to Kits Beach. Brian(owner) was very prompt to answer any questions we had. Nice new BBQ in the backyard. We would highly recommend this house which is in a beautiful neighbourhood.

This home was a perfect home base for exploring Vancouver: close to UBC and Bard on the Beach, and an easy drive to downtown, Stanley Park, and North Vancouver. The owner was quick to respond to both our original booking request and to questions before arrival. We had no need to contact him while we were there as everything was as exactly as promised. For what we would have spent on a hotel, we got 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a living room, dining room, family room, and a fully-stocked kitchen. This is a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. We would be happy to stay here again.

The house was comfortable, convenient & welcoming. Location superb. Owner personable & generous. Vancouver is a neat city. Loved the architecture, modern & to my taste. Liked ability to get around easily by car & on foot. Excellent in location, privacy & spaciousness. It was great. Science museum very cleverly done.

About a 25-minute walk to the beach, but close by to a million shops, restaurants, coffee houses, etc. Homeowner's helpful recommendations were spot on! And Brian promptly provided recommendations for our more specific questions as well. The neighborhood is quiet & the house is modern & well equipped with all the conveniences. Morning coffee & evening grilling on the patio...when we weren't out exploring Vancouver, which is fabulous! If we had small children (or wanted to haunt the beach every day or go to more far flung attractions) we'd have rented a car, but we enjoyed walking most everywhere (or at least one way😉) & took a few buses & taxis. Ridiculously perfect weather. Overall a wonderful house for our week's vacation with our now far-flung adult children ! Thanks Brian! And HomeAway makes it all easy...
