We really enjoyed our stay. The pool and backyard was beautiful. The location is a little farther from San Pedro than I would prefer but the ride was always enjoyed in golf carts. Great little island, highly recommend.

There was 6 of us that stayed at this house, we all had so much fun we really enjoyed the house pool and everything they had to offer. It was our very first time in Belize and we all really loved it! We would definitely do I again!

We truly enjoyed tour stay. The house is a great option for two couples or families wanting their own floor. Full kitchen and two showers on each floor. Washer/dryer on top floor. The views were spectacular. Swimming pool was a must with us and we loved it. We loved the friendly resident iguanas living on the property pier. Wi-Fi and cable TV are included. Renting a golf cart is a must as this property is five miles outside of downtown to the south. The roads beyond downtown are sand, a few potholes and a bit dusty. If you plan to cook on site, seasonings, foil, charcoal (for the bbq pit), etc are not provided. Chef services (with advance reservations) are available for meals. Management service - Ester and team - were available at all hours to answer our questions prior to arrival and during our stay.

This house was beautiful and had all of the basics that we needed. The pool was fantastic and well cared for. The view from the rooftop was absolutely spectacular. Having a dock where we could be picked up via boat for excursions was really convenient. The management was really helpful and the groundskeepers/cleaners ect were super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Having said that, the one fairly big disappointment was that the listing stated that you could have ocean access via a ladder from the dock. I even asked via email before the trip if this was the case (as it was a major reason we booked this house) and was assured that we could swim from the dock. There was no ladder and you couldn't access the open water because you would sink and get stuck in the mud if you tried to walk in. There were kayaks but it was really difficult to launch them and we weren't able to use them to get to a swimable spot. We ended up spending a lot of time in the pool, which was nice, but we didn't really get our "fill" of spending time in the ocean. Like I said though, even with that disappointment the rest of the experience was amazing and I'd stay there again.

If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, then this is a great place. 4 miles away is about a 20 min golf cart ride. The pool was great.

First, I want to say that this was one of our most memorable vacations as a family. The people of Ambergirs Caye are some of the happiest, friendliest I have ever met. Ester, your concierge from Pelican Reef management was so helpful in all our bookings, recommending plane flights, scuba companies, sailing lessons, private chef..etc. We did book some things on our own as well. YOLO snorkeling and chill was a blast. We also used chefs for hire Belize for our arrival night dinner, natalist water taxi that took us from the airport direct to our dock where Ester was waiting to welcome us. , We were there for two weeks over Christmas and new years. The property was perfect for our grown family. The 4 adult kids used the upstairs as their place and we used the downstairs. We usually prepped meals downstairs while BBQing on the charcoal grill and brought everything upstairs to eat. It is two separate apts with an exterior stairwell in the front yard. The upstairs apt has a larger kitchen, eating table, living area and two queen bedrooms with 2 baths. A wonderful balcony and stairs to the rooftop where the views are out of this world. This allowed late night movie watching, beers etc without disturbing us older folks who were tired from the days adventures. The downstairs apt has a smaller kitchen with an eating island, living area and two bedrooms, one king and one double twin beds and two baths as well. The bottom apt has sliding glass doors to the incredible pool area and the yard. The apts had everything we needed to cook and we are cooks!!! the supermarkets in town are wonderfully stocked with staples and stopping by the roadside fruit stands was so great, everything fresh and abundant. It is a ride into town, 20 to 30 mins by golfcart, but an experience every time. There are great bars in the area (Stax was one of our favorites, also rooftop at Playa de sala). The grounds are kept beautifully with the caretaker raking, sweeping decks and patio areas, manicuring trees, and fogging (the mosquitos are a thing) for 2 to 3 hours each day. The pool is kept clean with the pool people coming multiple times a week to check water, vacuum and clean. We had the most incredible vacation and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pristine cove and Ester.

But for problems with the golf carts (several successive problems)n the stay was great. There were items missing from the house when we arrived but necessary pots and pans and other stuff like knives were provided a day or two later at our request.

The house was great and the view was amazing. The check in was super easy and the lady in charge was super helpful. I would definitely recommend this house if you're going to San Pedro.

Perfect get away for our first girls trip! Our group was 2 sisters and our 5 adult daughters. It’s been years since we have been able to get together. Pristine Cove was a stunning location for us to relax and enjoy reconnecting. We made 2 short treks in our golf cart over to the Pelican restaurant and rooftop Bar on the back bay. It was so much fun, especially on a rainy day! Highly recommend both!! Already planning next years return trip.

We had a wonderful stay and Pristine Cove for our 15 year anniversary trip. Ester the house manager was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Would definitely recommend renting a golf cart. The home was beautiful and I would highly recommend!

We had a family upstairs and downstairs with 3 kids 2 teenagers and several adults. We had plenty of room and we had such a wonderful time. No problems that I can think of. Ester was amazing with explaining and arranging everything. They even sprayed extra for bugs when they knew we would be cooking out. I appreciated the other reviews that described the 20-30 ride into town and the 45-60 min ride to secrect beach. But these rides didn’t bother me (except at night with mosquitoes) because I loved exploring the town and soaking in the locals. Buying fresh fruit and vegetables from roadside stands. Roads are bumpy but we knew that. Bugs are bad in the evening but we brought lots of bug spray. What a beautiful place belize is! We enjoyed the entire 11 day stay and cannot wait to come explore more. Also used the kayaks to go out into the ocean. We went on the best excursions with Uber da sea adventures. Captain white boy was very impressive, kind and entertaining. Also went on a mainland tour with the neighbor guy. He was really nice!

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Ester helped make our first time in Belize memorable. The service we received was on par with staying at a hotel. We cannot thank the property management team enough from the ease of booking the property, planning of activities, and handling all our transportation needs. Even the 30 minute golf cart rides into town were a fun experience for everyone. The house was beautiful and we cannot thank you enough.

This was the best house. Great location away from the busy shopping area. Great water for kayaking. Perfect dock for our fishing guide to pick us up. Swimming Pool was wonderful. Neighbors were very kind. Property management was wonderful. Our family of 8 truly loved it and will be back!!!!

This place was exactly as described. The location is close enough to town to get there easily but far enough away to be quiet and private. The grounds are immaculate and the house is in great condition. Though we had very few issues, when we did they were resolved within hours. Ester, our property manager was amazing - so easy to work with before we got there and the whole time we were there. She booked tours and massages for us (on the beach and pier) and answered all of our questions. The house has everything you need - very well stocked kitchens! The beds were comfortable and the showers had HOT water!! The only thing we didn't love was that the two floors are not connected on the inside, so you have to go outside (sometimes in the rain) to go between floors BUT that was very clear in the overview, we just didn't think about the rain part. It's not a big enough deal to deter anyone, everything else is absolutely perfect!

Property is 4.5 miles from town. We loved that because it was so quiet. My 15 & 13 year old sons loved being able to kayak from the beach. You cannot really swim from the beach there. Too rocky. No access to roof if you are only staying on the first floor. We had whole house so it wasn’t a problem. Would definitely rent again. Referring friends to stay there too.

This house is awesome.. it is like other reviews say, out of town down a dirt road and about a 45 min drive on a golf cart from the Secret Beach side of town but that did not stop is from going 3 days in a row. Loved being secluded and away from it all and the drive allows you to see so much more that we all missed on our first trip here. House is just like it looks in the pictures. Beautiful home and perfect for our group because of the top and bottom being separate. Just wish there would have been a staircase off the second floor leading down to the pool and beach area. Highly recommend this house!

This was a magical beach house! We rented both units (upstairs and downstairs) and each were fantastic. There were 3 couples total for our vacation. The upstairs unit has an amazing view of the ocean and great seating areas. The upstairs also has access to rooftop (no seating) for way better views! Both kitchens were well stocked with utensils/serving dishes/pots and pans. They did include coffee which tasted great! Each unit included all the water for the entire week. The bathrooms had ample amount of towels and bath wash. Each couple had a private bathroom to use for the entire stay. Each room and the living rooms, had private AC units that each couple could adjust for their coolness liking in their rooms. There were extra blankets and pillows if needed. The house has wi-fi which was spotty at times. One couple we came with has kids and did not have difficulties communicating with fam using the wi-fi. The pool was a bit chilly but after sitting out in the hot sun, relaxing on the built-in bar stools was refreshing. At night, the property staff would come and turn on colorful lights in the upper level pool. They also provided us with a bonfire for 2 nights (AMAZING). Sitting out on the sand, they have little tiny ants that bite you- bring the bug spray! (no-not sand fleas, they had tiny ants!) The neighbors on both sides of the house are very friendly but distanced enough that we didn't feel crowded. Everyone keeps mentioning the drive, yes the drive was a bit long, yes the roads are bumpy but they did grade the road which made the last mile more gentle. After our first drive in to town for groceries, we opted for the property manager to provide us with provisions- it was expensive- but more enjoyable/relaxing. The most impactful and reassuring part of this trip was the communication with Ester (property guru) We downloaded "what's app" which is the main way of communication with all businesses in ambergris. Ester, stopped by every morning to check on us, bring us more water and make sure everything was up to snuff. She booked a scuba diving trip for us and the boat arrived right at the dock in the AM. She replies within 20 minutes if you have questions. The property maintenance team also came by everyday to pick up the yard and check on us as well. The checking on us what not overwhelming or intrusive. They were beyond fantastic!!! This is a little piece of heaven that provides privacy and relaxation that is well deserved. LOVED IT!

I originally booked the house for a group of 8 adults but 2 got positive COVID Test prior to leaving USA and could not go. I wanted to be on the South Side of San Pedro and knew about the house from prior fishing trips next door to the Blue Bonefish Lodge. From those stays I knew all about the house, the location and places nearby. My group of 6 all lived it and will be back. HINT: If you want a great individual charter for fishing, to snorkel or to the mainland, see Daniel next door on the north side. We did a full day reef fishing, snorkeling and a beach BBQ with his son Duckie.

We had a family group of 8 adults (3 couples, 2 adult children) and this home was perfect for us. It was spacious and well supplied with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Communication with the property manager was fantastic both before we arrived and during our stay not only to make sure we had everything we needed, but to help with dinner reservations, excursions and questions. It should be noted that it is far from town. It is a bumpy 15 -20 minutes of hard dirt (many potholes) just to get to the edge of town and another 10 on the cobblestones to get to the center on a golf cart (a little dusty and muddy if it rains). Most of our group didn't mind (it's part of the charm of Ambergris Caye!) but a couple of my group found it tiresome by the end of our trip. For me it was worth it to be in this beautiful, peaceful, private home. There are a few restaurants and a mini mart with quite a few basics on the dirt part of the road if you don't want to go all the way into town. Check out Waragumas (Papusas and lobster burritos), Estel's Dine by The Sea (breakfast, Wahoo for the chicken drop, Toast (right on the edge of town - fantastic happy hour), Caramba's for an amazing seafood feast, Someplace South and the Fry Jack House. We did a couple boating excursions and the dock pick up right from the home was fantastic (no gathering up the family and trying to rush into town to meet a boat). I highly recommend A Day at Sea With Captain Oliver. He and his crew were amazing and made sure we all had a fantastic day of snorkeling, fishing, bbq lunch and snacks and drinks. If you don't mind being away from the hustle and bustle of town, this place is fantastic and the customer service we had from the whole crew was over the top amazing.

My family of 10 stayed here 12/25/21 - 1/1/22 renting both the 1st and 2nd floor of the Villa. The property is beautiful and our villa host Ester was amazing! She was always available via WhatsApp and quick to respond to our every need. (late night food delivery, advice on excursions, setting us up with a private chef on NYE). She is the best!!! The only thing we didn't give 5 stars on is the location. It's a bit far from the main town. (20 minute golf cart ride), but we knew that going in. It was worth the drive to get this beautiful place and the service that comes with it.

Boca Ciega is exactly what we were looking for, nice quiet location to relax and enjoy the sun and water. The property is very well maintained and just as advertised. The property managers were very accommodating and flexible as our arrival was delayed and they were there to greet us even several hours late.

It is a good property but way down from the central San Pedro where most of the eating places are - using golf carts was fun but would take a good 25-30 min to get to any restaurant, bar, etc. The management company people was the best experience and all of the people there were very helpful, prompt & cooperative.

The location was remote but it was not that far to find restaurants and grocery shop by golf cart. We went to Black Orchid, a restuarant nearby a few times and had great service!
