The lanais and inside/outside feel of the home was awesome. Our family enjoyed it nightly. Home was really well stocked with games, pans, and some staple cooking tools. Great home base for enjoying Po ‘Ipu and the south shore. Property manager was detailed and made everything easy. Highly recommend and we will return.

Upon entering this beautiful home, you feel ready for a real vacation, with all the amenities you could ask for. From the hot tub, to access to Athletic Club, we enjoyed more than the quick access to the beach and great restaurants (I.e. Joe’s and Puka Dog). So glad to have found this place which was reasonably priced considering how perfect it is. The only small thing I would suggest is providing coffee for the coffee maker. Mahalo!

This unique cottage is beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. The location can’t be beat. Just a block from the beach and park where you can swim, boogie board, let kids play in the park, see resting Hawaiian Green See Turtles on the beach, catch glimpses of a Hawaiian Monk Seal and see spectacular sunsets. If you like walking, take the path by the house to the Grand Hyatt, an incredible luxury property where you can have drinks, dinner and see how the wealthy folks live! The Koloa Fish Market has great fresh poke. Stop in Hanapepe on your way to Waimea Canyon or Barking Sands. The Na Pali sail from Port Allen was a real highlight, with Spinner dolphins, breaching humpbacks and incredible vistas. Don’t hesitate to book this cottage; you won’t be disappointed!

Spent ten nights at this immaculately equipped and maintained cottage. Just a couple hundred feet from the beach. Really loved the porch equipped with padded furniture and shades. Also used the like new hot tub most evenings. Just a wonderful property!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed home located in the heart of Poipu. Easy walk to beach and several restaurants. The home is spacious and clean. Brent, the owner, was terrific to deal with and he provided many helpful tips on things to do as well as valuable restaurant recommendations. The ability to use the nearby Athletic Club was a real plus, especially on our last day in Kauai. We can’t wait to return.

What a wonderful place to stay. So quiet and very to the beach. Well furnished. Amenities were fantastic. Everything you need is thew. Felt like home. We had a little hiccup but the owners were so quick to rectify it. Thank you Karen and Brent for a wonderful experience.

Two couples loved the location for walks, snorkeling, wildlife viewing. All the amenities of home are a very short walk to the beach. Hosts provided a thorough introduction to the house and the neighborhood, as well as on point recommendations for excursions.

We come to Kauai annually but this was our first time on the south end of the island. Highly recommend Poipu for young families and this listing! So many gems at this beautiful property. To list a few: the outdoor shower was to die, indoor/outdoor floor plan was perfect for our toddler to run in and out of while still being able to watch him and make dinner, easy walk to the beach allowed us to go there a few times a day without a big fuss. The house is fully stocked with all that you need included a beach cart, umbrella, chairs and sand toys we used daily. Hosts were very easy and friendly to communicate with. Can’t wait to return.

The location of this lovely cottage is prime! A very short walk (1/2 a block) to the best boogie boarding beach Brenneckes and just a skip across the park to poipu beach and turtles galore. We counted 30 one evening. The cottage itself is lush. We all loved the outdoor shower, perfection. And we loved that it came with all the beach goodies you need including a wagon to cart it all around in! The two sets of fold open doors give you a real indoor/outdoor living feeling and let in the nice ocean breezes. We opted for AC the first night but ultimately found it more enjoyable leaving the house open at night. It’s really quite comfy! Our kids loved the place as well. We would not hesitate to return to this little slice of paradise! Thanks Brent..the banana’s were the best!!

We absolutely love staying at this property. The home is so comfortable, well equipped, and the location can't be beat. This wasn't the first time we have stayed and we know it won't be the last!

If you want family relaxation with ALL the amenities this is the place! This home is so well thought out, clean, and provided everything we needed for a stress free and relaxing family stay. We loved our daily and evening walks to Poipu Beach. Our favorite features besides the location was the art work in the cottage, opening the doors to the lanai, the hot tub, and the outdoor shower! 5 stars and a huge MAHALO to the owners for creating and sharing Ke’ola Cottage. We can’t wait to return!

Cozy home. Well equipped and roomy. Beautiful porch, living area and open kitchen. We loved it! Living and kitchen area gets hot. A strong fan or AC would great. Saw green turtles on the Poipu Beach. Amazing subset, ocean water temperature and natural ambience.

My husband & I very much enjoyed our stay at this home. It's an easy walk to Brennecke and Poipu Beach, where sea turtles come in to rest every night. While Brennecke had strong waves which were fun to get tossed around in, Poipu has a sandy, more shallow section which is great for children, but it opens to an area in which many people were snorkeling. The house has excellent LG appliances, and plenty of cookware and dishes for eating in. If you go, don't bother buying coffee filters - there are LOTS. I was impressed by the magnetic door stops, which kept doors from slamming when the strong breezes swept through the house. (Bedrooms have a/c, if you so desire. They were nice units above the beds, not noisy window units.) There is an outdoor shower which connects to one of the indoor showers, making it easy to wash off sand before you go inside after the beach. There were plenty of beach towels and chairs. Also, snorkel equip (although the fins were too big for my 7 1/2 size feet.) Beach umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys. I loved the lanai, and the fact that all the lights could be dimmed.

It was our 3rd time staying at Brent and Karen’s and it just gets better and better every year. Their home has it all! Highly recommend

Karen and Brent have created the absolute PERFECT vacation home. Aptly named Keola (meaning "the life"), every detail and desire has been thought through and considered for your stay. The binder is like the holy grail of information - which is obviously lovingly updated to ensure you have ALL of the best information. This beautiful location has access to numerous water activities, beaches, restaurants and more. The cottage is fully stocked with a wagon, beach chairs, beach toys and bodyboards. We loved the foot washing station, numerous hooks outside to hang our wet towels and leave our shoes at the door. We are already planning our return trip. You will not regret this decision

This is a perfect cottage with everything you need to relax in style. The home is beautifully constructed (by the owner, Brent) and contains beautiful artwork painted by the owner (Karen)…like staying in a beachside gallery! The perfect size for our family of 4. Convenient access to beaches, shops, and Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Karen and Brent are wonderful hosts, and we can’t wait to come back! Mahalo!

We stayed in this lovely cottage for our 25th Anniversary trip. It was clean, convenient to the beach, and had everything we needed. The owners provided easy to follow instructions, as well as, recommendations for the area. The cottage was spacious for us. Would have been perfect for 2 couples as it has two masters. The location was amazing! Less than a minutes walk to Poipu Beach, walk across the park for another minute and you are at Brennecke’s Beach. Saw many Sea Turtles and Monk Seals at the beach. They just hang out and swim all day then make their way to shore to rest in the evenings. Volunteer Naturalists on the beach were very informative about their species and protecting them. We had a car and drove the entire island seeing sights. We also hiked a lot. Easy to get to trails from the cottage. Some within walking distance. Many restaurants and 2 shopping villages near by. The patio was perfect in the mornings and evenings for relaxing. Thank you for the beach supplies too! We had a great week and highly recommend this property.

Far exceeded our expectations in every sense of the way. Starting with location, location and location. Nice, quiet and tranquil location yards from the beach. Everything you would hope to have available for your stay is present. Beautiful and relaxing stay inside and outside.

From start to finish the whole process was amazing! Karen was great to work with and did a fantastic job of communicating with us from the beginning to the end. The property is beautiful and exactly as advertised. We were so sad to leave and can't wait to come back. I would highly recommend this property.

This little cottage has everything you could want in a vacation home: location close to the beach, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, beach towels, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, relaxing outdoor space, you name it, it is here. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Absolutely fabulous stay from start to finish. We have been to Poipu once before and stayed in a condo complex, but having our own beach cottage was amazing. Check in was seamless and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Outside space was so nice after a day at the beach to come relax and feel the ocean breeze. Excellent location in the heart of Poipu, and yet private and quiet. The house is beautifully set up and has a great outdoor lanai that we used constantly. Everyone had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place and wished we would have booked it for longer. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes walk away from beautiful beaches (with sea turtles and monk seals) and within walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping malls. The house is beautifully decorated well stocked. We especially loved the porch / lanai. The host had lots of great local recommendations and was always very responsive and easy to communicate with. We definitely will stay here again on our next trip to the South Shore.

This beach cottage is a gem. We enjoyed our stay so much. Every morning having our coffee on the spacious and beautifully furnished lanai we could hear waves crashing on the beach. Lush sugar cane sways with the breeze and is mesmerizing as you relax to the sounds of the ocean and nature. Beds and furniture super comfortable in the home and the kitchen has everything you need. There are beach toys, chairs, umbrella and a handy wagon to use for it all on a very short walk to the sandy beach. There are several great restaurants near by and Poipu shopping village has great shops, Whalers Market, and free hula shows! We truly enjoyed our stay and Karen is a great and attentive hostess/manager. Love the handy binder on the coffee table that answered all our questions! :)

This property did not disappoint. Very clean, well kept, GREAT location and the hosts, Brent and Karen were very responsive and flexible. My entire family loved the place. It was well stocked and the way the place was decorated was just very conducive for nice family dinners, conversations or just chilling out. We will not hesitate to come back and stay here again. I almost don't want to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret :)
