The location
We stayed three days.
Our room was not cleaned and bed not made. We had to wash our own cups

Saturday night in a very friendly and busy local pub - usually a recipe for noisy and sleepless. Not in this case rooms were very well separated from bars. Great place if you want a lively ub and a good night's sleep

A very warm welcome. Everything was explained nicely and we were basically left to ourselves.
The heating in the room was on its highest setting so it was very hot. The hot tap in the bathroom dripped and was closed so tight you couldn’t use it. Small things like not having a shelf in the shower are annoying but generally the room had everything you needed.

The breakfast was more than expected with an excellent choice.

The single room was a bit too single and glad I did not bring a wolf hound!
It was unfortunate that the Pizza van left an hour early; had I known I would have eaten before arriving. In fairness I was later than expected and given croissants!

Unfortunately they weren’t serving food on the evening that I stayed but they did recommend a very good pub down the road

Friendly staff, very helpful
I would like to have had a restaurant available since it’s a very rural location. There is a Chinese Take-Away at the hotel though and the staff were very helpful in telling us where we could get a meal within a short drive from the hotel

Location was beautiful , the lady manager was very helpful, and friendly
The bed and pillows were extremely hard ,it was very uncomfortable .

Staff were very welcoming, even though I arrived early. The Inn has a homely and peaceful ambiance. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and every thing was fresh and lovely. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

A rude customer who was kicking off at a young member of staff because of a fork. Totally unnecessary but staff handled it very well.

No restaurant, no staff on at breakfast, we had to wash dishes used by other guests as there wasn’t enough dishes for the amount of guests.

We had a warm and friendly welcome and there was pretty much everything we needed to hand.
Although there was an iron I couldn't find an ironing board. The floor boards through the property creeked so when people walked past our room it woke us up.

Room too small and cold Continental breakfast was a joke.they have a lot to learn what a Continental breakfast is.very expensive drinks.and the Chinese was revolting.

Beautiful building in a lovely village. Hosts were extremely welcoming and pleasant and extremely helpful.Room was immaculate and very cosy. Continental Breakfast was very nice, relaxed able to help yourself to a good selection of cereals, breads etc.
The Chinese take away within the hotel is a great idea , and the food was excellent .
