Comfortable bed and good shower.
Room was a bit tatty with a slight 'doggy' smell. Breakfast was below average.

Location was perfect directly opposite the castle , the building and rooms are lovely, we had 3 rooms a huge bathroom , a lounge and a bedroom with 4 poster bed, everything was exactly as it looked on the website. Tastefully decorated lounges and bar and breakfast room in a lovely conservatory.
All good although on our visit the bar wasn't open which was a little dissapointing. Did find a quirky very old little pub about 100metres away though.

Good location, poor breakfast.
Breakfast described as continental but not really. Generic small croissants, slices of plastic cheese, no nice breads and only poor quality medium s!iced for toast.

Lack of parking included in stay, got a parking ticket which was very annoying and expensive

Location, size, temperature just right, the one bathroom two bedrooms arrangement we stayed in was perfect.
It was honestly fab.

The shower was nice and powerful and there was good quality coffee in the room. The breakfast selection was good and the value for money for the room was great. Receptionists were all very welcoming and helpful too.
The room was very warm and the bed was uncomfortable. Only one towel was left for two guests and there was damage to the blinds in the room. No one was monitoring the breakfast room and dirty plates had been left on tables and juice left empty. Renovation works going on downstairs were extremely noisy and started at around 8 am which wasn't appreciated when we hadn't been warned about this prior to booking. This also meant we were unable to use the bar facilities during our stay.

Location excellent accessible to all the attractions short walk to the castle.
Comfortable warm rooms, well furnished with a large bathroom.
Friendly staff especially the receptionists a really nice welcome and departure.
A lovely continental breakfast huge selection. Will be definitely returning to this lovely hotel.

The accommodation was more spacious than expected with a separate living space which was really pleasant to find. Some of the furnishings and decoration in the rooms were a bit tired but the bathroom was great. Location close to the castle was lovely. Breakfast was good with a nice degree of choice.
As mentioned above - I think it might be time for a refurb in terms of the decorations etc in our particular room.

A very charming hotel. Our room was enormous and included a lounge and a dressing room. The continental breakfast was absolutely fine. The location is perfect for sightseeing.
The decor was a little tired. The rooms need a lick of paint.

A great hotel in the city of Lincoln, nicely located across from the Castle and an easy walk to all of the spots Lincoln has to offer. I stayed here last year and this year was just as good as last year.
Especially like the sitting area in the room that was seperate from the bedroom area.
Our stay did include breakfast but we had to leave early (before 7am) and was unable to stay for it.

Excellent location near castle and cathedral. Good bathrooms, large shower. Good car park behind, although you pay was reasonable. But would really recommend.
Room was too hot, had to turn down the heating. Breakfast was basic, get there early so you have a good choice. Slow to top up the buffet, not many tables.

Staff were super helpful even though we arrived way past the check-in time when reception was open.
Location is amazing and if you take one of the rooms with a view it's basically a suite and although quirky in its appearance you are not paying a lot for the location .
No restaurant or bar, but that has its plus points as it quiet as well.

Great location. Fascinating mix of handmade (?antique) wooden furniture in our room. Large room with great bathroom and modern fittings. very friendly and helpful staff. Beutiful exterior architecture.
public spaces a bit tired by comparison with the bedrooms. uninspiring breakfast. beds made up with nothing between bottom sheet and the mattress.

Great location for visiting the castle & cathedral. Room was clean & spacious & the bed was comfy. Located close to a few pubs & restaurants.
People banging & crashing around the corridors at 0700, sounded like the cleaners having a conversation from either end to each other. Breakfast was a little disappointing with not a huge selection if you struggle with dairy products.
