The property was on a quiet street very close to the centre of Lincoln. It was modern, clean and comfortable. The cottage was decorated very nicely and modern. We would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area.

The only downside was the very heavy fire door from the kitchen to the stairs but as it is a safety aspect there is nothing that can be done about it.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. Even had a litre of milk and tea/coffee and biscuits waiting for us after a long journey. The beds were comfortable and the decor tasteful and modern. It was 5-10 min walk to the historical centre. Great location. Super wee cafe around the corner, Cafe Ella where we could get a full breakfast or a bacon roll. I would highly recommend staying at Archie's cottage.

Street parking was a bit tight, but could usually find a space.

Archie’s is located just outside the main town centre at the top of the hill just a hop skip & a jump & your where all the bars & restaurants are with the beautiful cathedral & castle all within easy walking distance. We gained access via a key safe & the place was spotless & beautifully decorated with all the mod cons, we ate out mostly as we were on vacation. We will definitely be returning 😃

Excellent location which meant we could walk to everything in Lincoln and leave car safely parked on street for a couple of days. Property very well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Stairs are very steep and quite awkward to manage with fire door at the bottom.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything you could want. It was also very convenient for walking into the city centre.

The cottage is described as Cathedral qtr but nowhere near the cathedral had to get taxis to town. Also the host said OK to leave bags as arrived before 4pm check in, which we did quickly and went back to town. Instantly got a text to say "see you have left your bags, that's OK", when I had already confirmed it was then got another text the next day asking if everything was OK,fair enough. Then again when leaving to say we had to leave an hour earlier due to the clock change!!! Luckily we had planned to leave then anyway..... didn't appreciate being txt everyday I was on holiday felt like being checked up on. My friends and I are aged between 40 and 60. We know how to behave. Nice cottage, shame about being constantly text.

The cottage was in a good location and very convenient for our stay. It was comfortable and well equipt.

We had a small problem with the linen for one of the bedrooms but the host dealt with this issue very quickly and provided a bottle of prosecco as an apology - nice touch :)

The location very near the cathedral as we were attending a graduation ceremony and very close to shops and eatery places The other thing i liked was the communication skills from the property owners keep it up very professional

I almost forgot the bins which we were not informed about until last moment next time it good to let guest know there role or responsibilities in good time

A lovely house the interior kept cool during this hot weather which was a bonus.In walking distance from cathedral and castle also lots of restaurants.

Everything was fantastic, excellent size place, cute patio with table and chairs out the back and perfect location within easy walking distance of Lincoln city centre. Parking was also super easy on the street outside.

Brilliant location being near the castle and cathedral so didn't have to climb steep hill unless we wanted to. The weather was good so we were able to make full use of the Brilliant patio. Comfy settees and beds made for a relaxing break. And tea, coffee and biscuits to welcome us! Perfect.

Archie’s Cottage is ideally placed near to the city centre, on the flat, approximately a 10 minute walk. The facilities are very clean & comfortable with parking on the street outside the property in a very quiet area. There is a nice paved courtyard with table & chairs, which I can imagine would be lovely to use in warmer weather.

Archie's Cottage is very clean, comfortable and well located. It was ideal for a short stay in Lincoln, an easy 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and Castle. The onload parking was fine. The owner was helpful with all enquiries before and during our stay.

We liked it all and would stay again. A hook in the bathroom for clothes would be helpful.
