The staff were friendly, located in a beautiful place, the shower was superb and the bed comfortably.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Fantastic location, close by the river with footbridge for quick access to town. Great views from the room and nice bar and garden. Clean room with smart modern shower.

Room and bathroom quite small. No food on Sunday evenings though sister pub close by is open and also provided breakfast.

The breakfast was fantastic, the location of the hotel was brilliant & the staff were all friendly & helpful.

Great location at the end of the SW Coast Path as you enter Lynmouth. Friendly and helpful staff and the double aspect bedroom was a plus with a nice view out to the beach.

Superb friendly and attentive staff. Good food reasonably priced. Good selection of beers and wines. Superb location and views of river and coast from our corner room. Lovely large beer garden. Good pillows. Heating very effective. Newly done bits of room like wall paper very good.

Dirty and stained divan bedbase with broken/missing metal fittings which stuck out and caught my leg. Poor quality (or old) mattress. Turning over accompanied by loud twanging of springs. Shame you couldn't open windows beyond a crack but many cobwebs and flies etc in them anyway. Had to ask for a plug for the bathroom sink! Air vent in bathroom thickly coated in dust. Chaotic parking in tiny car park. The one major thing that could really raise the hotel would be a lounge for guests to relax in; there is no where, apart from standing in the very public bar.

great location, parking a little tight. After a mix up trying to check in, I cannot fault the service of the staff, the quality of the food and drinks and a wonderful view from our room.

Breakfast was great considering lack of staff. Whoever owns the place should have it up and running, Had to go to the sister hotel for evening meal for first night most staff amiable but one not so much when we had the dog. Didn't think as dog friendly as portraied ,been to a lot better don't think there sister hotel is as dog friendly as they say do not think I would book again.

Had a terrible smell from the bathroom, did complain, was told a refund would be available, but nothing yet.

Breakfast was not nice, dry cold toast, cheap sausages and not much selection on buffet

Superb location virtually on the beach. Nice staff. Beautifully warm room for my January stay. Breakfast was over in The Rising Sun as it was out of season.

Great location and staff at the other hotel were very nice.

there were no staff on site we had to go to another hotel to check in and to eat meals. Some distance away, not great in 2 degrees for seniors. Prior notification would have been nice.

Decent room, warm, great location, parking.

The hotel has no staff, you have to check in and take breakfast at a nearby Pub. No problem for us but anyone with mobility issues should consider this.
