Spacious, clean, good location.

Apartment was neat and tidy ,catered to all my needs.

We were very very disappointed with the room. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. There was no water jug in room. There was no plug for sink or bath tub. There was no lace curtain on window for privacy just block out curtain. The floor mat in bathroom was inadequate. The laundry was full of kitchen towels or cleaning hand towels which I found a health concern. Our washing was removed and dumped on ground in laundry still damp so cleaning towels could be washed which we found very disrespectful and unhygienic. The under cover car park was confusing and hard to use. Most parks were private or reserved. The reception assistant was very unhelpful. The main reason for booking was for secure parking. Townsville is known for its crime and vehicle theft, The motel bed was very very disappointing and the worst I’ve ever had the misfortune of sleeping in. We booked a double and got 2 singles pushed together, this is files advertising and misleading. I would consider this as backpacker hostel accomodation only.

Shower head was horrendous. Difficult to shower. no remote for TV and reception was clueless as to how to get me one that actually worked.. after two trips down I gave up. Very clean and location good.

The location of the hotel is a quick walk to a number of areas like the football stadium, the Strand and the main nightclub areas. You basically can walk to anywhere from this area.

I had asked prior to the booking for early check in as we arrived from Sydney quite early and then there is the daylight savings change which meant it was one hour earlier. They let other people in and we had to wait until 1pm even though they stated it wouldn't be long. We were woken up suddenly at 4am in the morning by someone entering our room, we were so freaked out and went to reception only to have them laugh at my husband saying he hadn't locked the door properly. We found out that the door doesn't lock from the outside unless you turn the lock on the inside. Which we had however we had unknowingly unlocked it. The lady at reception told us they tell everybody this however we 100% WERE NOT TOLD THIS. We didn't get any sleep, felt very unsafe because the doors were so old fashioned and someone had walked in our room - after also not realising that the afternoon and evening we had been out it was also obviously left unlocked as we didn't know the handle on the inside needed to be flicked up. This was the worst experience. We thought they may support us as we felt unsafe - but they laughed. We were so tired but that night the road outside was so busy - there were cars screeching, there were gunshots from the same cars for about 20 mins which disturbed all the people around us, it was Halloween and there was a street party in the main street - we heard people around us coming out of their rooms to check what was happening. We won't go back, we weren't very happy with the staff. The pool was green and almost unable to be used - we thought we might get sick if we went under so just dipped ourselves to relieve the heat. Sorry but I can't review this hotel as anything but update your rooms, update your security and keep your pool clean.

shower in bathtub, not good for mobility issues. Bathroom floor was not mopped, some mould in shower. Our room was not cleaned/made 1 of the days we were there, eventhough we asked for it to be cleaned.

Location was excellent and staff helpful and friendly

The room was quite sterile and needed a few touches to make it a bit more warm and welcoming but it was still a perfectly acceptable apartment for our stay.

Great location, clean, good parking and easy check in. Met all our requirements for the weekend. Very good lifts - fast and not wasting time waiting.

Great location, lovely room with a good view

1.That family members couldn't be accommodated on the same floor even with 6 months notice. 2. In the main bathroom, access to the shower over the bath with fixed glass and high sides on the bath proved very difficult.
