I love coming to this hotel on the way south because you can have a dip in the little pool after a hard day's drive. I explored Agen this time as well and that was great. The staff here are so welcoming you feel like you're family!

The hotel still needs a bit of an upgrade in terms of carpets and just a feeling of neglect. My room had had smokers and the encrusted smoke smells in all the fabrics gave me asthma and affected sleeping, so not good. They tell people not to smoke but they all do. Needs sensitive smoke alarms to police this.

Gentleman at reception provide exceptional service, very helpful and friendly.

If I really must be picky and give feedback then I would say the mattress was a bit on the sagged side - bowed in centre.

The electric plug beside the bed is in a dangerous condition. Earth pin is missing and burnt.

Location

The Hotel is great value and has a pool. It is not that fR from the motorway. And was an excellent location for an overnight stop.

It has breakfast. But not dinner and on a Sunday no restaurant facilities. In Agen restaurants and cafes were closed in the evening on the first Sunday in September so no facilities for get something to eat. The only eating option was a Boulangerie adjacent the roundabout which was open for pizza slices, bread and cakes.

Nice vibes about this hotel. Its well placed and easy access, clean, coffee machine. Lots of restaurants and great supermarkets nearby

It has gone downhill since I came in September . Largely unstaffed now, I had to use the machine to get in which creeps me out as a woman alone. The automatically assigned room was on the ground floor which is unsafe. It was less clean than before. The man in the summer was cheerful, friendly and helpful and I miss him and his hard working staff.

Great welcome, perfect mix of friendliness and respect. Clean and comfortable. Power shower. Strong WiFi, swimming pool was great.

A little shabby, tho very clean, cleaned with care, kudos to the cleaning staff.

I arrived before 8 pm to be within the check in time but the hotel was closed. There were no understandable instructions within the plethora of covid bulletins. I phoned the two numbers and nobody picked at first. After five minutes somebody picked up but was not speaking English. I somehow understood to go out of the car park snd check in at a machine . Payed 6€ more than my reservation specified for no apparent reason and got the keys. The room was stinking sweat. Luckily I had my own pillow in the car. The compromise was to sleep with the window open , heating on, hear plugs ( the property is Facing a trafficked road) using my own pillow and locking the sweaty pillows in the toilet. The breakfast was good.
