Good food, need for cleaning services

This property is one of the most beautiful properties I've stayed in. The heritage building and the greenery was amazing. The kids loved playing with the rabbits and meeting the ducks. The staff was amazing and we had the most lovely stay.

Service was excellent. They called a doctory when my daughter got sick, and brought him right to us. they were very professional and helpful. The food at the breakfast bar was superior.

Property is old and surrounding are not clean

Overall green surroundings, Serenity and heritage look.

Number of restaurants is few, Food alacarte options very prohibitively expensive.

Location and greenery

1. Staff was very inattentive. At breakfast the pancake was half cooked. We asked for a dosa and masala chai and it never ended up coming after having waited for 20 minutes. Very disappointing. 2. The room was horrible for the price we paid especially if you compare it to other Taj properties and comparable hotels like Leela. The shower did not work properly and there was a bad odor. Even though we asked to speak to the duty manager nobody came to help solve our issues. They seemed very disinterested.

We had a lovely stay the Taj West End. We stayed with a 2yo and 6mo. The grounds of the Taj are a tropical oasis inside Bengaluru. The swimming pools were amazing. The staff were caring and attentive and made us feel most welcome. Notable mention to Sweta Rai, Harsh, Naveem, Venkatesh, R Mohan and Sneha. Location is excellent, well serviced by Uber. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely return.

When we first arrived I was a bit underwhelmed - we were placed in a bit of a run down room. The room smelt damp, musty and mouldy, triggering allergies. The tiles in the bathroom were lifting off the wall, and there was extensive mould in the bathroom. The room adjacent was undergoing renovations, which we had to contact reception to get them to stop at around 7:30pm. We asked about a room change, and were moved the following day to a delightful room, which made our stay much more pleasant. I was disappointed to have to have been placed in the initial room, it was far below what I would expect at this price point, and the reputation of the Taj. Airport transfer was twice the price of scheduling an Uber XL, but was convenient.

the hospitality was amazing.. I plan on staying only in Taj west end whenever I make a trip to Bangalore.. We loved our stay
