The location and architecture of the hotel is great. The employees were very concerned and polite. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious.

Breakfast is a bit poor.

The hotel was way to expensive and long past it's glory days. Unfriendly breakfast staff and very little to chose from to eat. Not sound insulated room at all. Cloud hear the river roaring and neighbours both to the sides and above.

Good selection at breakfast buffet with plenty to eat. Spacious comfortable apartment. Balcony. 10 min walk from the centre. Friendly staff. Decent WiFi.

Next to the river weir with rushing water that was very loud, so sleeping with the windows open was not an option.

Location is beautiful for hiking. Staff overall pleasant. Room was beautiful. Air conditioning+++. Had all the toiletries you could ever want was well equipped in the room. Thundering river sound was strikingly beautiful and 2 terraced areas open to guests was also a beautiful thing. For couples who just want each others company, this would be an excellent location.

-no access to a kettle for making yourself tea/coffee. No fridge/freezer/ice machine. Owner doesn't allow you to use the kitchen for this. The shared guest area was always empty of people and because staff/owner use it as their area to relax it is fine but not very atmospheric for such a beautiful part of the world. Hot tub is closed off. Gym is closed off. WiFi didnt reach the room. TV got no channels in any language. I would probably go back with my partner but if not I would honestly look for a hostel instead. 3 very easy fixes for most of this is kettle/mini fridge in rooms and WiFi boosters/extenders if you want the feedback :)

We booked last minute doing the Tour Du Mont Blanc as wild camping is not permitted in Italy. Great value for a last minute booking and great service from the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very close to the city centre for some food and drinks too.

Breakfast was good with large varieties. Location of the hotel is really impressive, very close to the central bus stop and just adjacent to the river. Very good location for enjoying the nature quietly. Room was perfect, spacious, can't ask for more !

It seemed the room was meant for cold (which is obvious). But during the hotter time (during our stay, it was very hot), it might be a bit problematic to manage (given that the nice balcony is shared with other people, you can't keep it open for the whole night).

Great location within easy walking distance to restaurants, sights and short drive to Mt Blanc tunnel and skyway. Friendly staff who speak a little English. Good value for money as breakfast of cereal, toast, yoghurt, coffee/tea, cajes etc included

Being right on the river is amazing but be prepared for the constant noise of it. Even with doors closed.

Staff were nice, most of them don't speak English but did their best to help/understand.

Bathroom door in my room got stuck. They have an emergency cord in the bathroom which makes me think this might happen all the time. The double bed consisted of two mattresses with a distinct edge between them.

Superb staff and advice .

Excellent hotel overall; have given a positive review because (1) location - lovely old building built into the rock overlooking a stream. 5m walk from Dolonne Telecabin that takes you up to the main ski areas and 10m walk from Courmayeur centre. (2) The staff (especially Elly) were lovely and super helpful. Room was great (had a triple room but only 2 of us) as was the breakfast.

Not a lot to dislike; if I'm being picky, the shower was small.
