only complaint our bathroom was very clean

poor decor. poor lighting in room, shower hose leaking, cooked breakfast very very poor. scrambled egg was cooked in a dirty greasy pan and was in edible as a result. tomatoes not cooked. flat mushroom was raw. bacon was pink and rubbery with raw rind. there was a funny smell in the restaurant (mouldy type of smell). carpet in stairwell was threadbare. paintwork and decoration very tired. the original 12th century building is hardly visible as it has been modified a number of times. overall the hotel is poor. receptionist failed to ask me if everything was alright during my check out.

Really nice hotel, food good, one of the best breakfast we have had in a hotel. The staff were lovely 😻

The only complaint we have was the bed was a bit 2 soft, like sleeping on a giant marshmallow, but this wouldn't stop us staying again
