We stayed for three nights in a suite with club access and harbour view. We have been staying here before. Room: Clean, limited space, not so convenient layout, outdated interior and design, wonderful view of the harbour with floor to ceiling windows over the entire front. Location: great on Hong Kong island, close to ferry boat station, very walkable, not far away from attractions. Lounge: that’s the main and almost only reason why we book this hotel. The club lounge has a marvellous view and atmosphere, one of the best we know. The food they serve is great, too, good quality and selection. It’s the real unique selling point of this place. The person who makes a good part of this impression is Scott Lui who’s running the show. Super friendly, funny but absolutely professional club lounge manager who really knows his guests (many by name!) and takes care of everyone in an efficient, subtile and smooth way. You feel he’s your personal butler (and friend).

Unfortunately, the hospitality component has gone down. Our flight was at night, we asked first for complementary late check out and were offered 01pm. That’s wasn’t t good enough so we asked for charges, they offered 50% room rate until 06pm which would have been ok for us. However, we were told we had to change the room only for the late check out since our category was fully booked - we didn’t go for late check out. Upon regular check out, we asked if we would still be allowed to go back to the club lounge in PM, this was not appreciated. With some hesitancy, the staff told us we could do that but had to leave in case it was full (even in peak times, tables were still available). Since it’s located in the 30th floor, we asked for access card to the lift which was denied - advised to ask the concierge in the lobby if he could assist. Granted, the above is all as per international hotel policies but we just got the message “it’s 01pm, your stay is over, don’t bother us anymore”. Intercontinental hotels and Mandarin Oriental as a reference have never acted like this. Not sure if I’d book it again, there are many great(er) hotels around. If so, it’s just because of the club lounge and Scott…

Breakfast was amazing with a great variety of dishes from different cuisine. The staff were very attentive. The view of Hong Kong Island and mainly Kowloon skyline was great. I enjoyed browsing the IC building 103 floors high . I enjoyed the music at first level and especially the pianist and the violinist player.

Ausgezeichnetes high end-Frühstück. Toller Pool und tolle Aussicht aus dem Zimmer. Bereits mein dritter Aufenthalt im Hotel - immer wieder begeistert.

Etwas außerhalb des Zentrums - man benötigt stets ein - billiges - Taxi.

Staff is super attentive and always supportive, special mention the room service staff and poolside staff, super kind!

Have toothbrushes BUT not toothpaste and you need pay extra 15HKD to receive it in the room, that’s particularly weird and annoying for what you pay per night. Might consider small portion of low impact packaging toothpaste as other hotels do :-)

Fuimos muy bien atendidos especialmente por Marvin Wong que estuvo atento todas las noches en guiarnos sobre qué lugares teníamos cercanos al hotel. Fue muy amable y servicial
