The cottage was well maintained had everything we needed for a family of 6 traveling to Acadia in August 2024. The location is very central to the park entrances and within 10 mins drive to Bar Harbor. We loved its accessibility. Amanda was prompt in addressing our queries and requests that came up during our stay. We would love to be back and stay here. The cottage was in a prefect location, away from it all but not out of the way. The cottage was stocked with all important necessities, maps and welcome materials and was very comfortable for our small family getaway. Would recommend!

15 minutes to *everything* you want out of Acadia at a fraction of the price of Bar Harbor. Wonderful hikes right from the front door. Would definitely stay here again

Clean, quiet, nicely decorate, well equipped, ample room for six, close to trails, and easy communication with the host, Amanda. Very welcoming and comfortable. Nice to call "home" for our visit to Acadia.

We were there the first week of June 2024. The place was perfect for us with one bedroom having two beds. Not far from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Amanda checked in on us and replied to all of our text or Vbro messages right away.

Modern, tasteful decor, fully equipped, ultra clean in an ideal location. The cottage was located less than a 15 minute drive to the park entrance, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and all the best sites. We even hiked out the door to the top of Cadillac Mountain 8 miles round trip. There’s a general store with a kitchen a few doors down. Super quiet neighborhood off main road Rt. 3. The furniture and beds are all like new. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything to cook any meal. Manager was super friendly and helpful. Excellent lighting, privacy and also warm and cozy on cold nights. Washer and dryer were great but no dishwasher. Used the gas grill twice to cook steak and lamb chops. Would highly recommend for a couple or a small family. My wife appreciated the vases of fresh cut flowers

We loved our stay at Otter Creek as we celebrated a very early Thanksgiving with two of our kids who can’t be with us in November. The place was immaculate and the kitchen so perfectly laid out did cooking a big meal. While I cooked, my family was able to walk to the Cadillac Mtn south trailhead and hike up to the top . Weather was perfect , and we also hiked into Hadlock Falls as a family and the falls were spectacular . Beds were comfy, bathroom sparkling. All in all a great visit!
