The room met expectations during our overnight stay as we were attending a wedding. Quiet, pleasant and clean.

power and Wi-Fi - can deal with load shedding but when the power is turned off from 10 pm to 8 am that’s not right. always an excuse on Wi-Fi too ie plug fell out!

Great location, well equipped. Safe swimming pool fenced off.

Shower needs a curtain or door. 2 point adapter would be handy.

There was loadshedding from 6am to 8.30 and although there is a gas hob, no matches or lighter could be found to light the hob, so no coffee as we had to leave early.

The cottage was large and comfortable. The cottage is set amongst vines which is very pretty. The dogs were perfect hosts - always around for a pat but never bothered us in the cottage!

Unfortunately it was a bit noisy as the cottage looked on to the main road through Franschoek which is very busy.

Spacious and well equipped cottage. Well located for the village and local wineries. stunning mountain views. Photos of the property are very accurate. Very helpful owner and manager.

There is some noise from the main road. We stayed 7 nights so a washing machine would have been helpful. Having said that, we did discover a laundrette right next door to the farm.

Initial concern that the main road was too intrusive evaporated and we appreciated the ease of getting into town . The views from the terrace towards the mountains. The hosts were very helpful.

The staff were lovely and kind and the 4 large dogs were the loveliest, softest, most gentle dogs.

- Unfortunately exceptionally noisy traffic, motorbikes etc on the main road all day and night. - The shared pool area between the 2 cottages was a little awkward. - All 4 beautiful dogs had shock collars on to keep them from going to the cottages and guests and the front gate. - The interior was very dated and the carpets throughout were dirty with black marks.

The property is located within a vineyard which is very novel and we received a complementary bottle of red wine produced from the vineyard, which was a lovely touch. The scenery from the property is beautiful, with 360° views of the Franschhoek mountains. The setting is very beautiful! The property is perfectly located if you're interested in visiting the local wine estates in Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Worcester.

The unit is very cold in winter. There is no insulation so the unit gets cold very quickly without the small fan heater on. The bathroom is very cold and the shower has no door so it is icy cold... better get used to taking short showers! There are 4 German Shepherds on the property that are very boisterous, if you are scared of dogs or not comfortable with bigger dogs, this could be a problem. The property is very close to the main road, which is very busy and noisy.

Beautiful outside entertainment area with pool, overlooking the mountains. Lovely setting amongst the vines, and great location in Franschhoek.

Location was ideal and super close to the function we were attending. Had all the amenities we needed for a quick stay over and centrally located to other activities. Was well equipped for our friends group stay.
