Franschhoek

We stayed here on part of our honeymoon and it was perfect! such beautiful interiors and attention to detail really made the difference. They made our honeymoon extra special and we would definitely stay here again when we come back! The food was also amazing.

The bed was comfortable

We decided to check out a day early as the room was not as advertised and not relaxing. The “King Suite with Balcony” was the only room advertised with a private pool, suggesting there is a pool private to this room, but there wasn’t. The balcony is also just an area with windows that you can pull open. The shower pressure was weak and the bathroom window opens onto a walkway where everyone walking past can see into the bathroom. The pool was dirty and unusable, and it was next to the noisy kitchen staff area so it was not comfortable to use. I was informed the pool is being completely refurbished from May onwards and I should have done my research better before booking. I was also told the “private pool” description on this specific room was to show it’s a shared pool for the hotel guests only. Upon informing reception of our early check out, moments later as we were at breakfast, they took the full balance from my account without showing us an invoice or checking which card I wanted to use. They said they’d put the room back up for sale and refund us for one night if it sold, but neither of these things happened. Better service and attitude could have handled the situation in a more satisfactory way. The service at breakfast was also very slow.

An excellent location in the middle of Franschhoek. Really comfortable and stylish rooms. Amazing food. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a really comfortable and cozy stay.

it is on a relatively busy main road (which wasn’t apparent from the pictures) and within distance of a bar that is a little noisy.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Franschhoek! The facilities were incredible, but the staff are what made the place. Very warm, welcoming and accommodating.

The location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Wineries close by too. Breakfast excellent

Everything about this boutique hotel is spectacular. The rooms are beautiful. The facilities are brilliant. The food is out of this world and the breakfasts are in the top 3 in the world we've ever experienced. The staff are just the best. Everything about our stay was absolute perfection and we cannot wait to return
